The best restaurants in Nechells Birmingham West Midlands

Just visited this amazing little cafe.. we had the Desi breakfast, the food was cooked to perfection, hot and absolutely delicious.. the surrounding were so comfortable and clean, and the staff are so lovely. Polite and welcoming. I highly recommend this little Gem.. Go and visit and taste the lovely food.. you will love it.. 10/10..

Encantador lugar, te permite probar cualquier cosa con la que no estés familiarizado y sea muy amigable. Gran variedad de alimentos, también un excelente servicio al cliente. Definitivamente vendría otra vez.

During my visit, I had an unpleasant interaction with one of the waitstaff members. The waiter in question was condescending and disrespectful. Their tone of voice and demeanour made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, which significantly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable meal.

I had a make you own takeout from Wok & Go today that it’s was 10 minutes early then the time I actually ordered and had what I wanted which was good ,But the negative thing about it was it’s didn’t have eggs and chillis in which I ordered with it which was disappointing but I still enjoyed it.

Tuve un gran café con leche (y estoy quisquilloso) y pastel de chocolate hace unos días. También me gustó la decoración y el ambiente. Es un gran lugar para detenerse para visitar Custard Factory Y está frente al supermercado Zero Waste, ¡así que traiga algunas bolsas de compras!

Todo fue perfecto desde el servicio hasta la presentación de la comida. Realmente recomiendo este lugar si quieres probar la comida tradicional afgana. El ambiente, el servicio, ¡todo estuvo genial! Definitivamente regresaré

Contrary to the other review, this is NOT a family run café; it's run by volunteers from All Saints Church, across the square. Its kitchen is being enlarged soon (in September 2024). It offers hot+cold food+snacks+drinks – but so far doesn't offer gluten-free etc; perhaps it will when the kitchen is enlarged. There's live music on Friday evenings 7-9pm (unplugged) & many thing going on there all week.

These guys are scamming vulnerable people. taking deposits for weddings with no intention of providing any services, only to then go on to liquidate their businesses. Beware people. There is an ever-growing presence on social media regarding these issues.

this is the second time I have been served cake that was unsatisfactory; half of it was missing; when I took it back I was told 'I have just cut it, this is how it was'. It was changed but the whole experience was very disappointing; it is also very expensive. Unfortunately I did not get a photo.

I don’t often leave a review unless there’s something to be said. I have visited twice in the last few weeks for a solo lunch and found the tapas really enjoyable…. Unfortunately on both occasions, the two serving staff left a lot to be desired and unfortunately I shan’t return as a result. It’s a small intimate venue, and the loud incessant chatter between the two serving staff is inappropriate and led to a distinct lack of timely attention to the customer- hopefully management will get a grip and sort it out. First time a female and male server chattering away, second time same female and one other. I almost got up to walk over and asked them to be quiet. On one occasion she approached my table with my food looking over her shoulder continuing the conversation. On another they were too busy talking and ignored the chef’s call of service for just too long - and the chef left the pass to bring my food himself. Shame - I paid the service charge in full as great food and chef.. but they’re damaging the business potential, in my opinion.
