Great food and service as always

2nd time I’ve had dinner here and always found the reception very warming and welcoming. The service was attentive and staff fantastic! The food is amazing I had to go for the pork shoulder again as it was so tender and fell apart, will definitely be back again.

Excellent, loved the location. Cottage was cosy and warm. Games room a big bonus too.

Permanently closed now. Enjoyable lunch, pleasant service and a nice choice of wines by varying sized glasses. We shall return!

Visiting from Wales. Lovely place, great atmosphere, and the staff were fantastic. I had the posh fish finger sandwich, which was lush 😋

Simple pub with multiple real ales, plus a handful of other options for non beer drinkers. It probably is more for those who like beer than anything else. Superb selection and ever changing, often while you finish your first pint a new option will arrive, always good service and decent price too. Easily the best pub in Dorchester.

Discovered the Galley on TripAdvisor before our spontaneous daytrip to Burnham on Sea. Lovely place with a friendly greeting. We sat down & ordered just before 2pm not realising that they shut at 2pm. We made our apologies & the staff were lovely & told us not to rush. The food was lovely & great value for money. My husband had the full English & stated that it was the best he'd ever had. Highly recommended & we will be back if visiting Burnham on Sea.

I've been there for beers and food. The beer is always well kept and the food is good, reasonably priced pub food. Lovely decor and a roaring fire in the winter.
