Popped in for a drink. Just OK. Not the cosiest or the friendliest place I've ever seen, but the beer I had here was pretty good. Fine for a quick stop if you're on a walk.

Celebrated a family occasion on Sunday at lunch time for 12 of us. Service excellent, all meals were served together. Good choice on the menu not just the usually roasts. Lovely country venue. Thank you Tom, Jess and your fantastic staff who could not have been more helpful

This inn is just a couple of miles from the park and ride, ideal for visiting Bath. The food was fantastic but worth noting that the breakfast is extra at £15 per person, not the £10 quoted on line. Would recommend though.

Lovely food..Enjoyed the lamb bourguignon.the meat was tender and gravy delicious..with mash and veg..my husband had gammon and his eggs were cooked perfectly..will deffo go back when in the area.

Nice pint of San Miguel. Fish and Chips, filled by cheese and biscuits. Very nice.

A lovely meal with friends. Food was of the usual high standard. The staff were friendly and the meal was served promptly even though there two other large parties in. I highly recommened it.

Here for wedding anniversary lunch celebrations. We'd been here before and loved the atmosphere as well as the food. It's now on our regular list of lunch time pubs.

Service and food excellent. Lactose free option not a problem. When a member of our party became unwell they were extremely supportive and helpful. They rang for an ambulance and offered good advice. I can't thank them enough for their help.

Four ales on for Sunday lunch. Reservations advisable. Good sized portion for the ‘small’ roast meat lunch. Plenty of nice veg. Good value.

Had a great one night stay here when in the area for a wedding. Completely recommend - helpful staff, lovely place and an ideal room.

We had an excellent short stay here recently and were very impressed with the accommodation. The room was spacious and comfortable with a very good en suite. We had a meal here with family on our first night which we all thoroughly enjoyed and the breakfasts were good and beautifully cooked.

The food was excellent and I loved the fact that you could order a smaller sized portion for a reduced price. Great for those of us with a smaller appetite. The servers were friendly and our orders were taken, and delivered, in a timely manner. However a few of our additional requests, such as for water, were forgotten and we had to ask a second time.

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt I needed to for this place. I stayed here prior to a wedding and all round it was a phenomenal stay. Staff were kind, courteous and professional. Kitchen was willing to make dinner for me despite arriving late. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Bed and bathroom were comfortable, clean and modern. I would thoroughly recommend King William Inn and I would actively seek it out if I happen to be in the area again. Truly fantastic place, they didn't put a foot wrong - you've found the sweet spot!

Excellent food at a very reasonable price with great friendly service. Country pubs like this one are a must visit for locals and tourists. The toilets were immaculate, many establishments tend to overlook these areas. Full credit to the management and staff. We will certainly be regulars now.

We only spent one night here but would have happily stayed longer. There are 3 hotel rooms above the pub. They are to a very high standard of decoration and cleanliness. Very warm room and heated towel rail in the bathroom. I had wondered if it might be noisy above the pub, but it was fine. We had dinner in the hotel, which was lovely and good value for the quality. Freshly cooked food and good menu choice. Breakfast the next day was also good. Cereal, juice, tea, a choice of hot options and toast and jam. Overall I couldn't fault it. Thanks to the host and friendly staff.

Had a great Sunday lunch here, good choice of options, got a Great table next to the log burner so we were all pretty toasty. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The Sunday roast pork was excellent, a good choice of deserts also. Recommended

We absolutely love our local pub! Tom and Jess are always welcoming, as are their members of staff. Constantly great food! Nice themed nights too.. our only criticism of these evenings has ever been the portion sizes.. but only because we are clearly glutinous and the food is so good! Haha They also have a great function room and garden area. It truly is at the heart of our little village!

We came here last year whilst staying in Bath for a few days and were so impressed with everything that we booked it this year too. Sadly we won’t be returning for a third time. The Christmas menu wasn’t a patch on last year. Our meals were very disappointing. One of our party is vegetarian and as such chose the only veggie option. This consisted of a flat mushroom with what looked like pumpkin?, encased in pastry. No seasoning!! It was tasteless. The vegetables were practically raw. For the price we were disappointed. Service was good though but food definitely let it down

Consistently good food. This is more of a restaurant than a pub which was evidenced by running out of Landlord ale. I would recommend the King William. I have never had a poor meal

We hosted a brunch here for our guests the day after our wedding. The staff were amazing and incredibly accommodating! The food was delicious and hot - which was amazing considering it was for 40 people. We also stayed at the King William the night of our wedding, the rooms were very clean and cosy. Honestly couldn't recommend this pub enough, and huge shout out to Tom and Laura for being so accommodating and helpful!

The King William hosted wedding guests, the pre wedding dinner and post wedding breakfast for our daughter's wedding. Absolutely awesome. Thank you to the Chef and staff for making us so welcome and relaxed. A 5 star venue with a 5 star team

Wonderful little pub in Tunley near Bath. Room was very well-appointed, bed very comfortable, shower facilities very good too. Breakfast was extra but well worth it - full English breakfast was the best I've had in ages with perfectly poached eggs. Very friendly staff and an excellent evening meal too!

Stayed in one of the rooms which was beautifully decorated and very clean, bed was incredibly comfy. Had drinks in the pub which was also fab. Food looked and smelled great but we had already eaten unfortunately, did have a wonderful breakfast though. Everyone we spoke to was super friendly and welcoming. Loved our stay and will definitely be returning!!

Well I’d heard great things about this place so I booked a table for 12 on Saturday evening, so we arrived on time and we’re seated right away, looked at the menu and were given the specials too. We all ordered our food and it all came out together and was piping hot then there was absolute silence from all 12 of us. I’d ordered the Cod loin from the special menu it’s was absolutely out of this world couldn’t find fault in anything everyone had amazing food and service, the desserts we’re incredible and didn’t disappoint! Okay it’s not the cheapest place you’ll ever go to but you get what you pay for, would highly recommend to everyone. Go on give it a try. Tom & Jess have absolutely nailed it, keep up the outstanding service and food guys 10 out of 10 😊

Another delicious meal at the King William! We've been eating here regularly for 10 years and the food and service never disappoints. It's a fantastic, friendly, country pub, I've recommended it to many people over the years and they've always agreed!

Super little old stone floored got a history might be haunted type pub. Good menu, good food, fare price and attentive service. Get thee along there.

What an amazing place to spend the night. Booked a room at somewhat short notice for my wife and I as we were attending a wedding not far having travelled from Portishead. The staff were very welcoming and relaxed whilst maintaining an extremely high level of professionalism. Made an enquiry regarding local taxi services and we were given the number of a brilliant taxi driver who we used for 3 journeys. Our room was absolutely beautiful and the facilities were outstanding. On our return to the pub for a quick pint before bed the lady serving behind the bar wasn't sure whether to serve us until the owner mentioned that we were guests. After finishing our drinks we returned to our room to get some much needed sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable and I must say it's the best night's sleep I've had in a bed that isn't my own. The next morning we were welcomed for breakfast, told to take our pick of the available tables, presented with the breakfast and asked if we'd like a hot drink. I would absolutely recommend the full English breakfast. Well presented and cooked to perfection by the owner and for the price it was so much better than we expected it to be. 10/10 and would absolutely stay here again for a night away in the future

Fabulous as always. Standard pub fares, quality bargain breakfast and a cheap pint, not too busy. The pizzas are fantastic, above the usual pub grub. Festive menu is also a cheeky wee addition to a quality assortment of decent meals. For a pit stop with no frills you can't do better

Really like the King Billy in Tunley. The menu is their strength and there is always a good choice of well cooked affordable meals. In the King William you are conscious of being part of history in a genuine old coaching inn thoughtfully adapted to modern tastes and use. A good fire is generally in in the colder months and a pleasant garden if summer strikes. Very friendly staff and a reasonable amount of parking. As a Real Ale aficionado, their range of ales is very limited and unvaried, but you can be assured of a well kept pint of Butcombe or Gem. A very popular pub, particularly at lunch times, so booking is advised. Well worth a visit (or two.)

The outside of the pub doesn't do it justice. Inside is quite lovely and the food is excellent. Been twice and was impressed both times. Worth swinging by for the food 👍

Asked the chef if I could move in as I could eat his meals every day. Best food I've had since my gran was alive. Small tip opt for two small meals and enjoy the best flavours from what they offer, nicely priced too. 100% recommend this place as a hidden gem.

Very good food, and welcoming service. We went as a party of 9, and all the food came out together, hot, and tasted amazing. I had the pork, and it fell apart it was so tender. Great looking menu, and everyone else enjoyed their meals too. I would highly recommend.

We booked a table for five, inc two children. We're greeted by a friendly server and taken to our table. Lovely decor and table settings. Drinks were quick to arrive. The food was excellent, the chicken, ham hock and leek pie was very good, a proper pie with pastry base as well as topping. The children were well catered for, a lovely fresh piece of cod with chips and a duo of sausages looked tasty, both children devouring them. Dessert was cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Lovely atmosphere and good service coupled with excellent food make this a great recommendation. This was our first time here as my parents had just moved in locally but it definitely won't be our last.

Well where do I start. Amazing evening from start to finish. First night out for a very long time and even more special as celebrating out wedding Anniversary. The hospitality was 110% very friendly and approachable staff. Food was really well presented, up to a very high standard and tasted really lovely. We sat out in the new courtyard and were very comfortable thanks to the huge gas heaters. I did at one point feel like I was abroad. would def recommend and will be 100% returning soon.

Best fish and chips I have in a long time and everything is gluten free bar one thing on the menu would 100% reccomend and go again good job defo worth a visit for anyone who loves fish n chips and is gluten free
