Bad experience due to the rude manager who soured the experience. Worst afternoon tea we have had. Booked via open table for afternoon tea- menu on website said 38£ each. The menu we were given said £38 each. We were charged £42 each and when we pointed out the mistake were told that this is because we were given a "festive" afternoon tea that we never asked for, was not shown on the menu and were not told about in advance. When we complained that we were not informed of the extra price we were told rudely by the arrogant manager that it said so on the open table app so we had to pay. There was not a word of apology. We also paid a service charge. The waiter was courteous and friendly, but the service was slow, certain things were not brought as you would expect throughout despite few people there, and we were told the wrong information for what was in some of the sandwiches and desserts. So overall we paid £94 and the food itself was also low quality for this price. It used cheap supermarket bread, and overall lacked flavour.

I had sirloin and it was perfectly done! As their truffle risotto was so aromatic and delicious. The staff was sooo welcoming and smiling as well.

Lovely quiet afternoon tea spot away from the hubbub! The pastries and scones were on point and the goat cheese and onion sandwich was lovely too. Hope to see the rest of the sandwich selection further elevated in the future. The highlight of our meal was the very friendly and warm service and we could even sample two of the excellent teas each! Everything is made fresh so do make a reservation ahead of time or you’ll have to wait a while for everything to be made to order.

What a find! I live in Bath & came to The Henrietta Bar with some girlfriends for cocktails. It was perfect. The bar is stylish & modern & overlooks the beautiful Henrietta Gardens in such a good, quiet central location. We tried most of the cocktails on the menu & they did not disappoint! What an incredible menu. Thank you to the friendly, efficient & professional staff. We will be back & highly recommended.

A beautifully quaint cocktail bar. I indulged in a delightful Hibiscus Mojito at the Henrietta Bar! Incredibly refreshing and flavoursome! Service was outstandingly friendly too. Highly recommend dropping in and trying their delightful range of cocktails out whilst on the way to dinner, or as a drinks date night!

Stay here for 1 night. Well cake was delicious. Breakfast was fab, could of done with a little bit bigger portion. We then had afternoon tea which was all brilliant, they were very accommodating as neither me or my husband like egg or fish so these sandwiches were swapped. Overall we had a really lovely stay here, room was nice as well.

Lots of character and a perfect location. The room was stylish but one or two aspects could do with a bit of attention. Most notably, the sink drained slowly. The breakfast was of excellent quality and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Free parking in the centre of bath is a big bonus but the car park is quite tight.

First of all I would say this is a four star hotel, I downgraded it due to them re selling my room which was booked for two nights, I turned up a day late to be told my room wasn't ready, reason being they'd re sold it. They then had the temerity to chuck us in what could be described as an emergency room situated between the front door and reception. Wife had a horrendous night's sleep which brought on a migraine so all in all poorly treated customers.

Not great, ordered pork fried rice and a praow beef with egg fried rice and crispy salt and pepper squid Everything was quite bland, the beef was the most flavourful but the egg fried rice was mushy and not very fresh, pork rice tasted of nothing really and the the crispy squid was just battered not crispy and didn't have much if any s&p flavour. Wouldn't be ordering again.
