I love this place. You have to book so be aware! If going to Bath and you enjoy cocktails..you'll not be disappointed. A little pricey but hey...its the experience that counts!

Great cocktail bar right in the middle of Bath, such a nice atmosphere and the staff were amazing, our server Spencer was fantastic with recommending drinks and knew a lot about each one Will definitely be visiting again

Was really looking forward to the dark horse but sadly it disappointed. We got in for our table on New Year’s Eve and were so rushed the whole time. We knew we had an hour for our booking and only wanted to have one nice cocktail and enjoy it. We recieved around 6 time checks from various waiters reminding us how long we had left which really did put a strange pressure on the experience. We were unable to enjoy our time there because every ten minutes another member of staff was over to hurry us on. When you are paying £15 for a cocktail you want to enjoy it and not be hurried out ! the waiters also pushed for extra drinks on multiple occasions and kept trying to bring the bill when we still had time on our booking. Cocktail was nice but wow let us relax and enjoy our time there ?!

A great, quaint, cosy little cocktail bar for a few drinks. Service was friendly and helpful, and the cocktails were well made and served quick.

Cool cocktail bar, a bit dark, but that adds to the experience. Plentiful choice, nice comfy seating, just a bit rushed, because one has to book a time slot, which flew by. So be warned , need to book. Nonetheless a great place for drinks. Just go.

We had the cheeseboard along with a few cocktails. The staff is clearly well trained and well presented too. They poured water every 5 minutes, so no problem of being dehydrated. The decor is absolutely amazing and well though, amazingly detailed. As per the cocktail list , huge, sure you can find something to drink here. We are simple people so got a bit confused for the large amount of choice, however we did ask the staff and they pretty much recommended all the cocktails we had all evening. 10/10 for the service and quality of both food and drinks. My favourite cheese was the smoked cheese on the cheeseboard and the chutney was devine. Highly recommend, I will be returning very soon with family and friends. Well done team.

Over inflated perception. It's just a bar. Punitively enforced table time and sterile service. Do better.

Couldn’t be happier that we decided to go here on my birthday - staff were friendly and also incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and cocktails - they clearly love their craft! I love the fact it’s underground and has that speakeasy vibe - had the perfect balance of darkness and enough background noise to feel relaxed.

No wait on a Sunday night around 9:30, although it seemed the place where you would definitely want one on busier nights. Great well balanced menu with a good variety of lighter lower ABV drinks all the way to heavier spirit-forward cocktails. The bartender was very knowledgeable and able to talk you through the menu. Would strongly recommend a visit here while in Bath.

I only had the bar snacks here but they were still good. The owner or manager was great all through our stay. we did not have a booking which we appreciategiven it was a friday night. The cocktails and the staff were so helpful and sweet so I would highly recommend the place. Its very refreshing to find a place which is so highly rated for cocktails but has no qualms. Enjoyed the evening and best of all, the cocktails were so reasonably priced considering the ambience, quality as compared to London.Definitely a great place to bring someone special as well!!

Went to the Dark Horse after a show last night and had a few cocktails all of them were delicious. I had the penicillin which is one of my favourites followed by some of their seasonal specials which were all fantastic. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and their ingredients, highly recommended.

Every time we are in town, we stop by for the delicious cocktails and the fantastic atmosphere! Whether you are sitting outside to enjoy a warm sunny day or inside, this is definitely a place you will not forget!

Nice vibe, and chap on the door welcomed us with his vibrant energy which started us on a great foot. He managed to get us in for a quick table even though we hadn’t booked. They gave us a 40 minute slot, we only stayed for 15 ish minutes as we just wanted the one drink. The staff were a little pushy when we were ordering, the menu was quite large so it took us a minute to get through it. However, they were keen for us to order quick. We ordered our drinks and they were quite expensive but they didn’t come garnished. I wasn’t so bothered, but for the price I was expecting a bit more.

Came here expecting to have a cocktail and move on to another place after one. We stayed for 1.5 hours and had 3 cocktails each. Loved every cocktail though. Was a little expensive at £94 just on drinks but that’s our own fault for ordering too many! Would recommend and will return if we come back to bath!

We had struggled to get into any bars in Bath on a Saturday evening, but then we discoverd this place tucked away down some stairs and what a fabulous find. Very cosy and friendly atmosphere. The cocktails are not cheap but are of a very high standard, would love to have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

We wish we lived in Bath and not halfway across the world in Melbourne just so this could be our local regular bar! Gorgeous intimate settings, with warm, friendly staff and amazing cocktails! Great for a first or 100th date. Would definitely come back again next time we're in the area 😁

I love this place. We spent a night in Bath just so we could come here for drinks. Such good vibes, the music is excellent and some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted.

Nice atmosphere and interesting cocktail menu. Unfortunately a couple of the cocktails we ordered in our group didn’t taste right, we mentioned to the waiter and all they offered to do was put more sugar in which didn’t really resolve the issue. Would have expected alot more for a place that is charging £15 per cocktail.

We loved everything about this place! We were made to feel really welcome and looked after by everyone working there, from the guy on the door to people working inside who kept us topped up with delicious cucumber water between cocktails. It's beautifully decorated - sumptuous and cosy without being pretentious and everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. We had some amazing cocktails and an all round fabulous night - thank you so much!!

Lovely jubbly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, music and service. The drinks were expensive but made up for it with unbelievable tastes. Such a big fan of this hidden location. Really appreciated the help picking drinks from Zed and Rhianna, and Charlie (I think his name is) was very helpful and welcoming too. Highly recommend. I will be back

I like the atmosphere, deco, performativity and rules of the place, and of course the cocktails are always interesting and moreish. Lots to choose. I have been here with my partner and with friends, and we haven't been disappointed. I must mention that I have had a good time reading the lowest negative reviews and some of them are really hilarious, especially when they compare this bar with other generic bars around or top ones 20 km away.

The place is nice, but we had an issue with the service from one of the waitresses. We asked for smoked rum, she mentioned “they were not smoking rums”, and didnt know which rum to recommend and told us to read the menu. Not really offering a solution (go and ask a colleague maybe?). When I went to ask for a suggestion to the bar myself, I was requested to go back to the table cause i cant order at the bar (although I just eanted to ask recommendation and not really to order) so also didnt get an answer. Then another waiter came and he was great. I wasnt going to put a bad review but on our way out, I could hear she said some insults and slammed the door. Not sure her name but if management is interested I can describe her.

I wanted to love this place but it didn’t go as expected. Mainly because the waitress was incompetent (had to tell her our order twice and she still managed to get one of drinks wrong) and totally rude (coming 3 times within 15 min to ask if we needed another drink, taking my unfinished drink away without asking, not saying thank you, etc.) The drinks were ok and the olives not great. The water had a cucumber taste to it? I had high expectations for a place with so many good reviews. Sincerely would have love to love this bar.

A fabulous recommendation to us from a well informed waitress elsewhere. Fabulous cocktails across the board, but if you want a long refreshing drink, I would highly recommend the Pina Colada, which is made with homemade sorbet and is delicious. Loved it so much we went back the following day. Top end of the price range but worth the treat. Access is down a steep staircase to the basement. Booking advisable for busy times and groups could request to have a whole area or room. Will certainly return. Return wd have, 6 months later. Still delicious and tgis time we augmented our drinks with some delicious olives.

Came to this venue after proposing to my fiancée! Will and the team were fantastic, they went out of their way to make the moment extra special and sat us on a lovely table. Would recommend!

Delicious drinks, small menu with excellent cheeseboard

A lovely little find on our overnight stay in Bath. Although busy, they squeezed us in at the bar and we are so glad they did as it gave the opportunity to talk with the wonderful staff about their cocktail recipes! Lovely atmosphere, v romantic, slightly gothic which is a huge thumbs up. The cocktails are so thoughtfully created and are absolutely banging. Highly recommend!

Charlie and Adam looked after us for the evening and were ever so helpful in exploring our taste within different cocktails and furthermore more were a pleasure to be around! The venue its self is very cool and upbeat! I would highly recommend visiting!

We were lucky to grab a walk in table before going out for dinner and had such good drinks and service we came back after dinner for more cocktails! The cocktails were great and a very varied menu. The staff were really welcoming too. Would highly recommend.

Great location, lovely drinks. Unfortunately the host suffered from a personality deficit disorder and was a total prat. As long as he doesn’t immediately spoil your experience it’s a good bar.

Really lovely cocktail bar, very atmospheric and romantic, with a really interesting cocktail menu and plenty of exciting options for alcohol free too. Lots of comfy seating. Quite a lot bigger than I thought, loads of space if you get here early. Staff are lovely and chatty, really helpful and can personalise your drinks to whatever you fancy. Lots of local producers championed here too. Will now be my go to in bath!

I can't rate this place highly enough. The drinks are divine, the atmosphere is great but the real highlight is the staff. Every member of staff we met were super friendly and helpful, helping us pick out drinks based on what we liked and generally making us feel really comfortable whilst also being good fun. The bouncer and server also went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and were looked after.

Thank you so much for a lovely evening. The staff are incredible and the cocktails are to die for. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

The best place to go in Bath! We booked a table here for my friend's birthday and we were so impressed by the service and drinks. It is an amazing cocktail bar, with any kind of drink you are after. There is also lots of non alcoholic drinks and spirits/wines if you are not interested in cocktails. I want to do a special shout out to Harriet who went above and beyond for our table and delivered incredible service. Everyone who worked there were friendly and attentive, and made our party feel very special. I highly recommend and would go as far to say it is the best bar in Bath. Thank you!

Popped in here for a post meal cocktail. The atmosphere and service were spot on and the cocktails were expertly made. Definitely be going back next time we're in Bath.

A hidden gem!!! We stumbled across this place and we were very lucky to nab a seat at the bar, it is a busy cosy place with a fantastic atmosphere. We were politely greeted by the bar tender Sam, who also asked us our names! He casually chatted, made recommendations and talked us through his passion for his work and it was great to see how him ans his colleagues seemed so relaxed and just bounced off of eachother! We opted for one of the special Daiquiris and boy was it yummy! Shame we live 4h away as would love to return! Thanks Sam&Harriet for a laugh! .. Love The Cramps!

One of the best margaritas in Bath and a really lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by on a warm evening. A happy coincidence that their drinks menu colour matches my sunglasses.

Lovely little bar. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The bartender that served me was able to recommend the perfect drink for me which was delicious! Would highly recommend.

The place was dark, but couldn't find any horses 🐴. Cocktails were very tasty tho!!

Called early doors Friday without a booking, after work. We were greeted by the host on the door and seated at a cosy table. The place is dimly lit and atmospheric, with an interesting interior. We were then given menus and served Cucumber water. The cocktails were excellent and we had hummus and pitta as a snack. The staff were all superb, the playlist right up my street, you could happily spend hours here. We'll be back.

An amazing cocktail bar. The atmosphere and staff are fantastic, we forgot to book a table but they still fitted us in, we’ll book next time as it’s clearly popular. Drinks are expensive but worth every penny, and we didn’t have long to wait for them. We really enjoyed that you get given a little glass of cucumber water that staff keep topped up while you’re there.

We went for drinks and saw they had a pina colada for £15 which is pricey but understandable for the atmosphere and being in bath. But it was so thick and sickly we couldn’t get another drink so we ended up leaving. The atmosphere was really cool - dark and dingy cocktail bar.

Fabulous! The atmosphere is great, staff incredibly friendly and clearly know their drinks, and I had the BEST cocktail I have ever had, it was incredible! The snacks (hummous & pitta) we delicious too. Definitely worth the price and the hype and we’ll be back soon!

We stopped by this place on a rainy Tuesday afternoon and were delighted by the quality of drinks and the service. After the server translated my English reticence and realised I wasn't so keen on the first thing I'd ordered, he got a sense of what I liked and replaced my cocktail. We were so impressed that we made another reservation for after our meal. This time they served me the best Margarita I've had in my life. Yes, it was £15, but if you favour quality over quantity, it's still worth it.

It is our favorite place in Bath! We made it our tradition to always go there when we visit the therms <3 it is perfect for a date - the cocktails are divine!!!

Harriet and Charlie made our experience amazing we were amazing they made my friends birthday amazing for us!!! drinks were perfect Harriet brought us surprise cocktails and each one was perfectly made for each of use (all different) company couldn’t have nailed their staffing any better. Huge fan of this place, a great bar with some incredible cocktails- each one was an absolute hit. Ive been there twice with my partner and they’ve always given a great service and some of the beat drinks I’ve had- highly recommended and a premium venue in central Bath!
