We’ve been coming in for breakfast and also lunch at the galley cafe for the 6 years we’ve lived in Burnham and the quality of the meals has always been superb . Very friendly staff and owners make it a really nice place to visit . ( And very good value too ! )

I'd seen a recommendation for the cafe breakfast - we'd passed by several times and never really noticed the place. Went for breakfast before travelling home and certainly weren't disappointed. 2 delicious veggie breakfasts arrived, piping hot. Fried eggs cooked to perfection.

Very welcoming, friendly staff. We were only in town for a few nights, came here twice. Great food, great coffee. Very attentive and caring staff. We are considering relocating to the area, and the waitress gave us valuable information. Should we make the move, we would definitely be back on a regular basis!

This is my 1st time coming here, I got the recommendations from Google reviews & trip advisor. What a lovely little gem of a cafe this is!! The food is all cooked fresh to order & you can really tell! We went there as a family of 4 adults & 3 children & they accommodated us just fine, the seating was very comfortable & the range of food was perfect. Even though the food was perfect, hands down my favourite part of the cafe had to be are waitress Sheila, who you can see in one of the photos with me! She really is the life & soul of the place! What a lovely lady 😍 Could I fault the place for anything??? Well, no, to be honest, it ticks all the boxes that you would want from a cafe. I would recommend The Galley Café to anyone wanting some good honest grub, wherever it be a full-on home cooked meal, a breakfast or just a snack. Plus, I had a cappuccino & the wife had a milkshake. What were both amazing, too! It was my first time visiting Burnham On Sea & the next time we visit will 100% be coming back to this cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great selection from all day breakfast, jacket potatoes, Chef's special which was Steak & Kidney pie with either chips & peas or veg, potatoes & gravy. A selection of sandwiches all fresh made to order. Selection of homemade deserts like sticky toffee pudding etc. Tea was served in a mug and they had removed the tea bag before brining to the table. Personally I think cafes who serve tea with the bag left in the mug are not worthy of supporting. Had a sandwich and tea which was first class Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them You could see that the customer was their priority along with excellent food

While I have no complaints in the quality of the food you need to change the special breakfast, the only difference over the normal is an extra egg..that's it, and a different size plate, no mushrooms, no tomatoes - very disappointing.

Best breakfast in Burnham-on-Sea!Last day of our two week holiday and we wanted a full English before the journey home, popped in here the day before asking if they could seat all 7 of us the next day, they could. We arrived late, but they still had two tables for us. Very friendly staff and awesome food, we’ll definitely be back again.

The sausage sandwich inspector strikes again, unanounced visit, and tried the 🌲🎅Sausage Sandwich 🎅🌲. OMG this cannot be beaten, amazing and it was a "Tina Turner" moment. Well done guys, you nailed it yet again unbeatable.

We have a caravan in Burnham-on-Sea and used this cafe last year. Came back three weeks ago and won’t go anywhere for Sunday lunch when here.

I visited this cafe with my dad this afternoon and the quality of food is exceptional. The staff make you feel incredibly welcome. They treat you as family. Brilliant atmosphere and a awesome place to treat yourself to the best all day breakfast. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family. 10/10

Breakfast was excellent I don’t like black pudding so was offered something else to replace it. The coffee is the best I have tasted in a little cafe. They also have a celebrity working there must ask her for a song next time I visit. Staff are really friendly. Will definitely go back again

This is the second time we have visited for a full English. The staff are attentive without being "in your face". The quality of the sausages and bacon I would rate as exceptional ,the rest of the breakfast was good and perfectly cooked. The whole place was spotless and we finished off with a lovely mug of coffee.

Spotlessly clean, small but perfect formed cafe. The extensive menu had a wonderful selection of food from sandwiches to a full roast dinner, with a good choice of beverages. The service was very efficient and the food when delivered was piping hot and absolutely delicious.

I work in tourism and as such travel a lot. Best way to check out an eatery is to see what the locals use! In Burnham-on-Sea the Galley is the one. Fantastic, friendly service with great food. Located perfectly on the High street its a must for any visitor.

Went here after reading Tripadvisor reviews, ordered an omelette and a jacket potato requesting it came out with no butter. Omelette came out quite quickly and well cooked, accompanying chips cooked perfectly with a crispy outside and fluffy potato inside but no sign of the potato.After about 10 minutes the jacket potato arrived swimming in melted butter and was duly returned. Got another potato and several apologies after another 10 minutes and a discount on the final bill. Such a shame as I have downgraded my overall rating based on my experience, but felt that the staff did everything they could to resolve the situation.

We go to the Galley every time we visit Burnham. Sometimes disappointed because it is so good it's often full. The food is superb always fresh always hot and very reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly and helpful. This is a lovely cafe to eat in. Well worth a visit you will probably never go anywhere else in the area to eat.

Five of us came to eat and two disabled and the cafe management was very helpful in seating us. They made room outside for an electric buggy outside and a wheelchair inside. They also provided an extra chair so we all could sit together The food is excellent and plentiful.We are on here holiday at the moment and would not hesitate to recommend this cafe to other holiday makers Great food and very good prices !!!

Found this little cafe yesterday home made steak pie the best I've ever tasted and I've tried many. Probably the best cooked breakfast in Burnham. Another Burnham cafe with an extensive menu but honestly, the breakfasts are so good, I've not managed to look at thr "normal" food on the menu!!P.S. You can also add to the breakfast menu, I.e. If you want fried bread etc etc.

On holiday in the area, we found this cafe for brunch on the first day. Three breakfasts of varying sizes and freshly made prawn mayo sandwiches made it a must to return and we were not disappointed. The place is spotlessly clean, the staff just right for friendliness and efficiency, and the prices are excellent. Good coffee and tea finished the meal on both days. Took an older member of the party in separately for naughty but nice chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. If we holiday in the area again this will be top of our list for a visit.

My wife and I visited this cafe on a very hot sunday morning in may whilst on holiday in the area. The building looked smart and clean from the outside and the interior was smart, clean and tastefully decorated. We ordered a Normal breakfast, a Special breakfast, a latte and Hot chocolate. The meals were a good size, well cooked and very tasty. The young lady who served us was very polite. Would definitely recommend this cafe.
