Great quality (no different than if I’d got it on location which is amazing!), driver was really nice!! They clearly have great staff because everything is done with care.
I was meeting my family there, my stepson had booked a table for 3 adults and 2 children.
I ordered calamari for a starter, it was lightly fried and had very little taste very disappointing.
My main course was Crispsy Chicken with a Buddha Salad, the Crispsy chicken wasn't Crispsy at all and the chicken was almost cold, having explained to the manager they took it away and replaced it with a fresh meal, once again very disappointing chicken not Crispsy and Buddha Salad consisted of a bed of salad and very little else. Overall very disappointing and not value for money.
We've come here a handful of times, and it has never disappointed us.
The majority of times, the staff are really friendly, but other times, they seem stressed due to the volume of customers.
I recommend the fruit pancakes. The raspberry ice cream that comes with it is delicious.
On our last visit, as we were sitting having our lunch, when a robin came by and stood next to our table. This isn't the first time a bird has flown in and patiently watched customers.
Nothing wrong with the quality of the food , the drinks were great as was the food but the price was ridiculous , £8.75 for a small toastie … not sure if I had the ends of the loaf of bread but I was astonished at the size of the toastie and having to pay £8.75 for it , like I said it was very tasty but just tiny and very expensive
This place is beautiful. The staff were absolutely fantastic they listen to you and if something wrong they will change it, they are very understandable and have such nice manners. Shukran(staff) served us our food and he was such a kind gentleman. The food was so perfect i had a burger with fries and the fries were juicy and the burger was filling. i went with my family and it truly is such a good place to go. i 100% will be going back. I suggested it with a few friends and they said they already went and had such a great experience too!!
First place is a local fish and chip shop we visited many times over the past 20 years.
During that time it has been operated by various different owners/managers with varying degrees of tastiness and efficiency. Today we were pleasantly surprised to see the new owners and requested our usual fish, chips and mushy peas. We always ask for small portions, but we really couldn’t have eaten anymore of this delicious food. In the terminology of an old TV advert from many years ago, the food looked good, tasted good and my goodness it went down well.
Food was delicious, bread with dips made the perfect shared starter, steak superb and the pistachio souffle with chocolate ice cream is dreamy. Great atmosphere, even at pm the restaurant had a great buzz. Staff are efficient and friendly.
Great food, deliciousfood, and will go here more frequently, staff very kind and polite great service, highely recommend this kebab shop in Winchester best kebab I’ve eaten in a long time the last time I went to this kebab shop I was really impressed by the food and this time was the Same case really enjoyed it
This place was a bit strange despite its lovely location. The food and coffee were fine, but it was served in cardboard takeaway containers even though we were dining in. The staff were nice but distracted by laughing and chatting with each other. We had to wait at the register for our food, carry it upstairs, get our own cutlery, and clear our table into the bins provided, which made it feel like a fast-food place rather than a café.
Not a great experience. Went along for the carvery but on arrival the serving area was very messy and didn’t exactly make me want to eat the food. My first mouthful of beef was gristle and fat. The whole meal was cold and the veg either rock hard (peas) or mushy. Roast potatoes were also very soft with zero crisp. Plenty of crisp on the sausages tho!!! Thought I’d make up for it with a chocolate sundae, but they were off the menu!! Won’t be going back. Will revert to The Chairmakers who do a great carvery.
I popped in here for lunch on New Year’s Day and the food was absolutely lovely I had the spicy chicken burger, it was delicious and the chips were amazing, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside definitely recommend come here often and foods always spot on.
Friendly and hard work staff , as soon as the bar was empty , seemed to spend their time cleaning every surface. Poped in on a busy Sunday afternoon And got drinks quickly. So returned for breakfast on a Monday morning. very Enjoyable and good value
We regularly visit here and always like to stop for food but came today and how disappointing, the menu had been changed and is VERY limited now and they no longer offer any form of dessert and have taken away all milkshakes… if you would like a burger or pizza then your fine but that’s about as far as menu stretches… I may add staff are very helpful and are working very hard… but it’s not worth the money to enter anymore as was charged £5 for entering the car park.
It's hard to write a review when you didn't get served, but here goes. We go here now and then for coffee and a Danish pastry, it can be busy but this time we found most of the tables were empty, so sat down and then I went to order. In spite of so many empty tables and plenty of staff, when I tried to order I was ignored for a good minute or so by the teenagers behind the counter. One then decided to speak to me and said "we're not taking orders as we're too busy, come back in 20 to 30 minutes". They said the same to the people behind me, so now I know why it was half empty. At least I was spared the pain of the pastries that cost over £4. It's a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by, but never again. I don't like being told my custom isn't wanted because they can't be bothered to get themselves organised. I can see this coffee shop going the same way as the others that folded recently.
