Boss man servers me the best mixed wrap i've ever had! Not only did I get served with a smile, but treated my belly also. I loved this place!

I have eaten the food from here quite a few times over the years but it has been a while since my last visit. I needn't have worried, chicken kebabs cooked to order, plenty fresh salad and chilli sauce, certainly best take away food I've had in the City. Highly recommended

This used to be one of the best kebab houses around, but we ordered 2Mixed shish tonight, and I'm sorry to say that they were the worst kebabs I've ever had, meat was old and dry,and portion size was tiny, then they charged me £25 for 2 will never go back, beware!! Neil Winchester

ordered a delivery of lamb kebab. The lamb was overcooked and dried out. Since the delivery was prompt I suspect they had skewers already cooked and waiting. Most Kebabs have the pitta opened at the side with the meat in the envelope. This had the pitta cut on one side and the lamb dumped on top, Impossible to put the meat and salad into the pitta. Sorry Winchester Kebab House, that's the last order from me after many years of occassional orders

I was recommended to come here by work colleagues who said that the gourmet burgers were the best. I ordered a gourmet burger and what I got was nothing like it’s title. The bun was soggy as it was in a polystyrene tray which caused the food to become a soggy mess. There was no presentation it looked like the burger was thrown together. To say I was dissatisfied and disappointed was an understatement. I can happily say I will never venture to this place again.

Chicken wrap was good. However, the nachos did not have enough salsa and a small portion was given. The cheese was very low on the cheesy chips and half of them were hard. The salad we were given was brown and old. Overall, an underwhelming experience as it felt like they did not take time on making the order.

Don’t get me wrong I’ve had some good experiences with this place, but lately it has been awful, I genuinely think it’s impossible for them to get an order correct now, the amount of time I’ve asked for no sauce and they’ve chucked this horrible concoction of garlic and vinegar on there is actually impressive. Would not recommend

Re ordered from the order history on my just eat account.was delivered and items were wrong.i ordered 2 chips special kebabs with salad, which usually come with chicken shish meat. This time it came with horrible lamb doner meat which i don’t eat. Phoned the kebab shop only to get NO apology and a rude staff member down the phone Who told me I ordered the wrong thing despite me re ordering the exact same as last time. Website doesn’t give any chicken shish chip special options only lamb doner which is why I phoned up a previous time to see what the chip special actually consisted of. Moral of the story I paid £14+ For 2 kebabs with salad, pita bread and chips as no refund Was sent and no apology was given. Rude staff who don’t care what so ever about customer service only money. I was a local to this kebab shop but am no longer!

One or two appear to have problems with service on delivery items. Visited instead and found the food nicely prepared and really delicious. I am sure this will be on the circuit after a night out again.

Order arrived with items missing, telephoned straight away. Took details and said they will get it to us ASAP... rest of order NEVER arrived. So, paid for food which we did not receive.

To begin with, I don't even want to rate this a 1 star as it doesn't even deserve 0.5. My family and I ordered a round of kebabs this evening at 6-15pm we waited 1.5 hours for it to arrive, after finally turning up, we got all orders out of the bag to realise they'd forgotten one (mine). I've had the longest day and hadn't eaten which I know was my fault but this made me even angrier. One of the kebabs ordered was a small chicken shish but should be advertised as not existant as it included 4 measley bits of dry chicken shoved into a pitta which wasn't even meant to be there as one of my family members is on a no carb diet. We called up the Kebab house complaining about the order which did not come origionally, although apologetic, they told us they'd get it delievered straight away. 40 mins passed.. it takes 10 mins to get to town from our house, we called again regarding the location of the driver, the man on the phone told us the food had left the kebab house 10 mins ago which was obviously a lie as the food turned up at 9.15. although the mistake was not the delievery man's fault, we got no apology message what so ever from the chefs etc. Moral of the story, if you DO order from here, collect it and check your bag before leaving. Appalling service.

Do not pay before you recive and check your order!!! My son kebab (mixed grill kebab) got only doner and two pieces of chicken ,when I call to complain about this staff didn't even apologise!!! I will never order from them again!!!

The salad was past its best by quite a way. Portions small. Meat OK. Wouldn't bother going back. Handy for the train station if looking for an upside!

Así que hemos ordenado un par de veces desde que se les cambió el nombre de hamburguesas gourmet y kebabs, y desde entonces hemos mezclado nuestro pedido con frecuencia. Hoy hemos ordenado algo teniendo en cuenta que cada vez que ordenamos se confunde con el pedido de otra persona. Bueno, mi compañero pidió un pollo shish kebab para cavar en un hallazgo pelos todo en el lado de su comida. Horrendo. Los llamé por teléfono para explicarles lo que sucedió y estuve mirando con mi pedido y me dijeron que lo volverían a enviar, pero tardaron más de una hora en volver a enviar el pedido, pero me llevó menos tiempo que todo el pedido. El resto de mi pedido fue frío, lo único que estaba caliente era nuggets de pollo para niños y patatas fritas. No volveré a ordenar desde aquí otra vez. Antes de que hubieran sido renombrados o asumidos eran excepcionales. Extremadamente decepcionado.

I've done delivery a few times now and it's good stuff, takes about 30-40 minutes to deliver so it is a bit of a wait. Dunno why there are so many people whining on here.

Me and my family love this place. We have tried the other kebab restaurants, but always end up coming back here. The meat is well marinated and very tasty.

Order from here regularly, good service and a reasonable price. Mainly come here for Pizza Burgers as they're really good value for money and tasty.

This evening myself and two friends ordered food from Winchester Kebabe house. When the food arrived one of the orders was wrong. Completely understanding that accidents happen I rang the takeaway place and explained that we received the wrong type of meat on the Kebabe...

We ordered online, was over an hour so we contacted them to be greeted with an extremely bad grumbling attitude, when asked how long we were told half hour (was another hour) I asked if we would be compensated for inconvience was told yes would get a discount never happened , while I was on phone they just abandoned phone mid conversation whilst I was on the other end saying hello , hello when food eventually arrived things missing, food that did arrive was cold undercooked and wrong, we just put it into the bin , its such a great shame it's gone so terribly down hill , it used to be brilliant change of rude arrogant staff is very much needed, until a change is made I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs .if some many things can go wrong in one order makes you question how many things can go wrong in the kitchen and cooking of a place

Me encanta la comida, pero mi dios se tarda años en llegar. Cuando llamé para pedir mi comida me dijeron que sólo será una media hora, una hora de embarque y me llame, me dicen que estará aquí en 10 minutos y el conductor ha dejado ya, otros 20 minutos más tarde todavía nada, así que llame de nuevo, dicen que el conductor tiene a la izquierda. . . Así que mintió en el teléfono la segunda vez que llame. Efectuar un kebab y una hamburguesa no debería tomar mucho tiempo. En total, el llevar una hora y tomó 45 minutos llegar demasiado, está a 2 minutos en coche de la casa kebab. Si comida tardó mucho tiempo para llegar a un restaurante te algún tipo de dinero. . . . ridículo.

There seems to be some harsh reviews and honestly I'm not sure why! I've been going for pretty regularly (sometimes shamelessly regularly) for around three years and never had a bad experience! The staff are always so lovely and theres a big range of options! It's great if you find yourself needing a takeaway but don't want it to be bankrupting or massively unhealthy! It's also very usefully open later than all the other takeaways in the area!
