Super good chicken, fast delivery, amazing service and beautiful fries.

This was a takeaway. We use this place on a regular basis. The food has always been good. And we have always been advised on the wait time. No problems with this. However, today's order was atrocious. The crispy duck. Was certainly crispy, inf act so crispy I think it was left to cook from yesterday. Next to no duck on it. The pork dish was not what I ordered and the rest of the food was bland at best. I am deeply sorry to say I won't be ordering from here again. It's a shame a it was a great takeaway.

Lully!! We ordered house special chow mein, Singapore chow mein , sweet and sour king prawn balls and prawn crackers, all of it was really tasty! The Singapore noodles had a great flavour of curry powder, not too overpowering like some takeaways we’ve had recently.the house special chow mein had a tasty sauce over them, and full of different meat, prawns and Vegetables.The prawn ball’s we’re great, not too greasy either! Great service! And even the delivery lady was polite and friendly 🤩👍🏼… definitely worth ordering a takeaway

Wanting a quick bite while in Eastbourne (and slightly disappointed that Birdhaus appears to be closed), we thought we'd give Wimpy a go, for old time's sake and to see if anything had changed in the decades since I last set foot in one. The venue has less seating than the neighbouring golden arches so we had to wait 5 mins to get a table but we weren't in a hurry. The place is clean and the service was good. The decor feels modern but the menu still has a range of classic options, such as the Bendy (hot dog in a round bun) and the Wimpy burger. I opted for the Southern Fried Quorn burger with vegan mayo, which as a meal comes with a drink (Pepsi Max for me!) and chips. We also tried the onion rings and it was all quite tasty. On Wednesdays you can get a small selection of meals for £8.50 but the vegan choice there is the bean burger and having spent too many years with just that as an option, I was happy to pay a few pounds more to try something else. Besides, a little over £10 for a meal isn't too bad nowadays and it was served quickly too. In all, not a bad experience and I would certainly be tempted to come back.

Been twice recently, first time received a piece of dried up old cod, second time this evening, cold savaloys, won't be back!

This takeaway has been my go-to for over 5 years now, and it never disappoints. I recommend the sweet & sour chicken and the beef in black bean sauce. Consistently great food and would highly recommend.

Beautiful little pub, awesome food what else do you need.

Visited with friends for dinner. Lovely atmosphere and attentive service. We all enjoyed the food. The pace of service was perfect. The wine list is well curated with something for all tastes and budgets. We will return.

Great food and drink always go in for there fish and chips when down Eastbourne with great staff too

Met up with a friend and Went for spoons for breakfast, for the money it's great value but you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly and attentive The toilets were clean. Overall a positive experience.

We have ordered from here a few times and it has been very good but today, not so. Chips and garlic bread were over cooked and the burger wasn’t too nice either. I have hope for our next order.

Walk past here all the time, slowed down today and had a look for somewhere different. Too a chance and was really pleased. Friendly, helpful staff and fish & chips was perfect. Will come back.

Nice coffee and biscuits. Reasonable prices.

Ordered at 1930, called at 2100 to ask where order was and stated was on way, did not arrive until 2130 and was stone cold, had to reheat in the oven for 10 minutes before edible. 2 hours is not acceptable to wait when stated it would be 45 minutes! Especially for it to turn up cold. Paid £36 for our order and got a £6 refund! We have ordered from this restaurant numerous times and as of late the service is getting worse and worse each time, not good enough for loyal customers
