I live in hailsham and all ways come here for the food it good food and time I get back yo hailsham it still hot all ways used it for many years when living in hampden Park I don't have any other all ways use this place never had a problem friendly staff as well never got a order wrong

The sweet and sour chicken was chewy not crispy and the fried rice was dry and flavorless- I am disappointed, was looking forward to something that resembles my favorite Hong Kong style dish

Great food and fantastic value, although the sweet and sour sauce is up for interpretation. Lady taking your order is nice but angry.

We were always loyal to Charlie Chans but the last 2 deliveries were really awful the last one took over 2 hours hours to arrive and was lukewarm, the one before was no better so we decided to try Lees Garden...WOW! what a difference food arrind in 50 minutes was piping hot and tasted really delicious and was over £4 cheaper, it's a no brainer..it's Lees garden from now on.

Rude receptionist, poor food, told the bill would be £25. When I looked at my account next day it was £35. Won't go there again

Have been going here for many years, even after it was taken over by new owners, the quality of the food is still very good. Would highly recommend the crispy chilli beef.

Polite helpful staff, food was lovely, delivery spot on time, with a phone call to let me know they were on their way.

Honestly the worst Chinese I’ve ever had, they got my order completely wrong food came cold. And it all tastes the same no flavour to the food what so ever never ever again!! Would avoid

Lived in Hampden Park nearly 15 years and would say it's the best in the area now. I do understand about the slimey chicken though. It's only ever been with the chicken and mushroom,every other chicken dish has been fine. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and you can't really complain about the price.

There is one main problem with this Chinese... It's just runs out too quick, you need to make a way to make it last

After Trying so many Chinese shops been recommended this one by my friend been there once the food was amazing very hot lovely chilli beef 1000% recommend this to anyone also the chow mein is amazing too and the crispy seaweed is to die for this is my second time going here wouldn’t turn back at all

Have been going here for many years, Great food, always hot,Have tried others but like it here, don't understand negative reviews as I have never had a bad meal from here, not greasy like some and always plenty of meat, not bulked out. Deliveries can sometimes be a bit long , but that is because they are busy so can't complain, I just go and pick it up instead. I recommend trying here if you haven't before. Happy customer 😋👍

We ordered from here after not eating here for months as the food was so bad after new owners took over. We really fancied Chinese for dinner and haven’t found another chinese takeaway in Eastbourne we like. Food was a great improvement from the last time we ordered from here, no slimy chicken, the curry sauce was more like a gravy but it was ok. I hope the food carries on improving as lees garden was our favourite Chinese takeaway for many years

Haven’t ordered for a while and was VERY disappointed. Apart from a hair in my food there was no black bean sauce on my beef and green pepper and it all had a funny taste to it. The prawn crackers were dry BUT the chips were fine. Such a waste of money. Lees Garden it all went in the bin. I wont be returning after all the years I’ve been using you. I’m not a happy customer!

Used to be the best Chinese takeaway in Eastbourne but since it’s been taken over it’s rank. The chicken is so soft it’s like it’s slimy. Such a shame

I have always got takeaway from here but just lately it hasn’t been very nice. The chicken is always slimy and not nice. I think it’s been boiled or poached. I won’t be using this restaurant again which is a shame as I’ve been using it for over 20 years. I have been told it’s just got new owners but not sure but that would explain why things are tasting different and not nice at all

I have used lees garden for years and never had a bad meal until recently . We love the chicken curry but the last couple of orders the chicken has been so soft almost slimy feel not like it usually is. I even rang up to enquire if it was still breast meat or had it been changed , but even tonight same thing and the sweet and sour sauce turned to jelly so I think will give place a miss for a while , maybe they have a different chef !

Had fish and chips here really nice. Recommended if you are peckish and in the area

I have no idea what your food is like. I just wanted to share my experience so that no one else ends up in my position again. If a girl is at your door with her back to it banging because a guy has her cornered and it's clear she is in need of help, try to be a bit more attentive rather then saying your closed & walking away 🙏 .

Best Chinese food in Eastbourne.

Used Lee's garden for 20 years and never been disappointed. Meals aren't packed our with loads of vegetables to fill a tray, unlike some. I travel from the other side of town for their food and wouldn't use anywhere else.

I've never had a bad meal from here. It can be a little salty, but I like that. Would definitely recommend!

Anyone who has read any of my other reviews of Chinese takeaways I judge a Chinese on my first meal on the quality of its lemon chicken. So I ordered lemon chicken and had 2 options plain or battered so I chose battered as that is how I usually enjoy it. I was impressed that there were 2 options. The overall menu was good, but not as lengthy as my local or others I frequent but I'm not sure if this was a good or bad thing. I had chips with it and was pleased they were hand cut and home made which was nice too. This was by far the best Chinese I have enjoyed South of Manchester as I generally believe the best takeaways exist northe otlf Manchester and why this is just my opinion I spend a lot of time around the country trying to enjoy a Chinese, my favourite food to partake in as you may have guessed by now. Anyway I would buy from here again and if I lived here it may have become my regular Chinese takeaway venue. Well done sir. A very happy customer.

Rudely greeted and told to wait while a telephone order was taken after I had already walked in. Food was poor. Watery sweet and sour sauce, food overly oily and chicken balls taste like the oil needs changing in the fryers. Even the rice was poor, not sure how you can make bad rice but they managed it. Better options

Having just moved to the area from South East London and a frequent visitor to China town for food I have just eaten the best Chinese takeaway I have had in a very long time, it was absolutely delicious

This is the BEST Chinese takeaway I have ever had! The food is always cooked perfectly! The quality of service is lovely and very efficient. Delivery is very quick usually and if they are busy they make you aware it will take longer which is fine, for their food I will wait. Never have they messed up an order and I enjoy the free prawn crackers. You can pay over the phone by card which is good. I will never use another Chinese takeaway. Lee’s Garden is always consistent with the quality of food.

Consistently good food. Have been ordering takeaways from Lee's Garden for years and have never had a bad one. Don't go anywhere else! (Well, not unless you live in a different county!)

Really Good overall and a lot better than several other takeaways in Eastbourne. Not five stars as the satay chicken starter was frankly odd (no peanut sauce but lots of pineapple...) and a long wait for food. However we will use this takeaway again definitely.

After our regular Chinese Take Away changed owners recently, we had to find a place that gave us the great food we had been used to. Lee's Garden certainly does this! The food is superb, delivered hot and on time!! Would highly recommend

Primera vez pedir un tome lejos de aquí y sin duda hacerlo de nuevo. Pedimos y pagamos por teléfono y la comida estuvo con nosotros en el plazo determinado.La comida era estupenda. Parte de nuestra orden fue pollo con champiñones y pollo chow mein y el pollo estaba cocinado a la perfección y había mucho.Pan de gambas eran claros y frescos.La única observación es que mi plato favorito - carne con tomate no estaba disponible ni langostinos butterfly king. Pero me dio la oportunidad de probar algo nuevo. Deliciosos! ! ! ! !

We have been using Lees Garden ever since we have lived in Eastbourne and they have been concistantly good the whole time, they do a couple of house special dishes that are great and a meal in their own rights, good service very pleased
