The food has always been excellent, fresh and tasty.

Friendly delivery service. Ordered when they opened and arrived quicker than expected. Food was lovely and hot, and as always very tasty hence why we always use yourselves for our local takeaway treat.

The food was cold which for the price was really a disappointment

Delivery time was an hour and 45 minutes, no apology for this when I rang. This is NOT acceptable. Delivery times have become increasingly erratic and long at this place lately. Food was ok tonight. Don’t bother ordering the mixed starter though at nearly £16 it was extremely expensive and not at all worth it. Disappointed and won’t be ordering from here for a while. Maybe things will improve again.

First time ordering from Urban Jade, after recommendations from friends. It will now be our go to Chinese Takeaway as the quality was fantastic. A slightly higher price, but the quality and taste is very much worth it.

The batter for the mixed balls (chicken, prawn and pork) was a little overcooked and too crispy for my liking. Other than that, no complaints. Special fried rice was lovely and had nice chunks of everything. My Coke can also came super cold which was awesome! 😍

I ordered a delivery and My curry turned up cold, I called the restaurant to inform them and they were extremely rude and said it can’t be cold and refused to exchange. When I repeated that it was stone cold not even warm I was told I’m lying because it can’t be cold. Will never order from here again

Terrible good and even worse customer service. I had ordered several items for a takeaway. When they arrived the curry was cold, not even warm, I called up and was told if can’t be, I repeated it was cold, I was then told can’t be and I’m lying.

Good food, good value for money.

I was disappointed with the food, sadly, there was little meat on the ribs, I ordered egg fried rice and received boiled white rice, chicken balls batter was very greasy. I was quite shocked as when I go in person to get food it is always good!

Just about within the quoted time but took an hour and 15 mins to arrive.

Staying with my parents who have not had a Chinese in years. Ordered the food before they had opened. Arrived earlier then estimated and the food was hot and absolutely delicious! I have no doubt my parents will order again.

Brilliant service this is an absolute lovely Chinese

Our usual take away is closed so I thought we would try here for a change, food arrived much quicker than expected and unfortunately that's where the positive experience ended. Quality was poor (my wifes chicken was inedible) and overall not great.

Collected as wait time was up to 90 minutes, food was 15 minutes later than the app told us. Food was then not great. Beef was very fishy tasting compared to the exact same dish we always get from other places, so we didn’t eat it. The duck spring roll was a battered duck pancake which was weird and not what we had expected. Local to me so had hoped it was good but won’t be ordering again.

We waited an hour and a half for the food & when it arrived it was cold. Beef was grisly and chewy and the chicken was the poorest quality chicken I've ever eaten..most was inedible. We thought we'd try somewhere different & this is the first and last time we will ever order from here. Shocking!

The driver turned up to our door and then drove away, I called the restaurant and they said the driver messed up the order and had to bring it all back for them to re cook it, they said it would be another 30 mins which we were happy to wait but they were not willing to give us any discount considering it was there driver that messed up the order. Then to top it off the driver has crashed into our neighbours fence. Shame as urban jade are usually fantastic.

Best Chinese we’ve found in Eastbourne. Good vegetarian options, although wish they had salt and pepper tofu. Also love the noodles, they always have a smokey taste! Would highly recommend

Excellent food my favourite Chinese in Eastbourne.

We order from here regularly, and the food quality is normally quite good. But on this occasion (New Year's Day evening) the food was not up to it's usual quality! There was far too much garlic in the vegetable spring rolls and the special fried rice lacked flavour.

Great Chinese, best in Eastbourne! won’t go anywhere else. Such lovely people and amazing food. Never had a single bad word to say, when we order with guests they also give lots of compliments!

Visited this takeaway for the first time, and although the quality of the food seemed to be okay, the taste was oh, so so salty made the food virtually inedible ,ate about a third and threw the rest away. Will never go back again

Fantastic Food with perfect service every month. Fast, efficient delivery, never late, most times early & with a smile. Food is always hot, taste great everytime & our family of 5 prefer this one with affordable prices, even with free prawn crackers to-boot which show they care. Absolutely recommended.

I have never eaten from this takeaway before as it's a little too far away and I would have to drive. Now I will eat from nowhere else, the food is of much better quality than the local Seaside takeaways. The delivery was early and the food hot. Excellent experience. Highly recommended.
