The best restaurants in Eastbourne South East

Great discovery (and I live in Eastbourne). A 'real' pub that I'd ope to revisit. Took a CAMRA-loving companion down from Berks who was mightily impressed by beers and clientele - thank you all for the pleasant welcome.

God made ice cream purely to be served in kaspa’s. They’ve unlocked the cheat code. Or they put crack in the milkshakes cos I spilled mine on my carpet and licked it all up. I think I have a problem. I <3 kaspa Eastbourne

Sehr freundliche engagierte Angestellte, gutes Angebot. Das Cafe hat sich spezialisiert an Autismus erkrankte Menschen und Menschen mit Lernstörungen zu bewirten. Das Ambiente ist sehr schlicht, Cooked Full English Breakfast gibt es nicht (Geruch), dies alles und noch mehr dient dazu, die Reizschwelle möglichst tief zu halten. Für uns Europäer gibt es aber ein schönes Continental Breakfast mit Toast, warmem Croissant, Butter, Konfitüre, Honig und Früchten, günstig. Wer will kann auch Rührei bekommen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt im jigsaws. Die 'little chats' mit Einheimischen schätze ich als Alleinreisende sehr. Früh morgens war ich einziger Gast, ich habe die Zeitung vor Ort in aller Ruhe lesen können. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Öffnungszeiten, früher öffnen, z.B. 8.30 Uhr. Gerne wieder!

This is a very well run pub. Great pub food, nice surroundings. Very reasonable prices.

A lovely traditional pub with a great outside area at the back. Delicious food, good choice of drinks and efficient service.

It was really cool there, we were there with our language travel group, they probably rented the place for tons of money. DJ was actually strong, drinks weren't that good, well. Otherwise there is a big bar in the middle, a first floor and lots of seating. Bouncers are often unfriendly

I arranged a surprise party for my husband in the function room upstairs. The staff were amazing at arranging everything on the quiet and the buffet food was absolutely delicious. The disco they suggested was good too. A great venue and if you are thinking about doing something similar I can highly recommend the lamb .

The outside area tables & chairs looks dirty. The entrance & coffee area need a revamp. Our table was dirty under the glass top. Chairs split. Staff not very welcoming.

Really lovely clean and good quality food. The service was nice too (one more friendly than the other but both fine). One small thing was that the Chinese wall feature of dark wood pieces was very dusty. A real pain to clean regularly I realise but as it is at direct eye level if sitting at a wall table then maybe dust even only that eye level. BUT such lovely food at a good price and we WILL be back 😊

Went for a group lunch, reasonably priced at £27 for two courses. Carvery, the beef looked great, but was very tough. I couldn't eat it. The staff on clearing the tables didn't ask why I hadn't eaten it!

I've been getting pizza from these guys for almost 10 years now. Excellent pizza, brilliant service, nice friendly people. Can always rely on them and one of the few take aways left that will take cash on delivery. I get a massive 18 inch pizza that feeds all four of us for less than £20 delivered. Love it. Only small gripe is that if I ring too early, they don't answer the phone even though Google says they are open, and as I have a young family, I want dinner before or by 6pm! I won't mark you guys down for this though because I still love you xxxx just answer the phones please OK? love you and love your pizzas xxxxx
