Good traditional British pub. Nice bar, pool table, little smoking area out the back, clean toilet cubicles. Everything you need.

What a very nice couple run this pub Staff excellent..cost reasonable

Walked into this pub for a quick pint during the day to pass 45 minutes whilst I was waiting for something. The bar lady didn't even notice me walk in even though the pub was very quiet. No smile or greeting, looking very gormless. On her phone for a few mins until another local customer had to get her attention and notify her she has a customer. Weird vibes in this pub. Not very welcoming. Seems like a local only pub.

I was going to go but i am a little concerned now after i read a couple of reviews. I like karaoke and I'm going to be in eastbourne this weekend for the first time.

Absolute joke of a pub me and my 17 year old listening to filthy language from a couple of people who have no consideration to young ladies and a mother. Would not go there if it was the last pub standing in Eastbourne.

Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Been for a walk and popped in for a drink, customers swearing and shouting loudly. Avoid.

Love it here, always have sport on TV. Live music is good. Service with a giggle.

I was invited to this pub on a Thursday night were they are doing 50's to 00's karaoke. Super fun great staff and fun people. Really nice night. 4 🌟 Sadly I was made to feel really unwelcome in this place also have been physically threatened in that place before I would not go there. The 50 DJ thing is great but it's just not worth it. I would avoid it all cost

What an amazing turn around, I have drank here a few times and what a massive turn around. Pub looks amazing, friendly staff and so welcoming. Free pool on Tuesdays which is plus as I love a game or two. Will be visiting more often for sure

If you want to meet a selection of characters that will either horrifiy, or delight you, this is the pub. It is a community pub, everyone seems to know each other, I think it's a good experience go there.

Visited this pub once before, 7 or 8 years ago. It was a dump, very basic and dark. Avoided it since. Decided to give it another try and very pleased that we did. Totally changed, unrecognisable from before. Great decor, very clean with good welcoming staff. Definately back on our list.

Lovely little pub something on most days

My wife and I enjoy karaoke, we decided to go along earlier in the evening on the Thursday to check out the pub before going later. We were pleasantly surprised, would be great if this pub was my local in Deal, nice friendly lady behind the bar who knew how to run a pub. Later that evening, great guy behind the bar who sorted everyone and knew how to work a busy bar. Mick’s karaoke was first rate, he had a following and he was a seasoned pro making sure everyone got a sing and fairly, will be back soon to see him and the pub

I've always walked past this place as it looks teenager-ish (I'm 75). However, popped in the other day in between two of my regular haunts and found beer good, staff and punters friendly, good atmosphere. Customers average age about 50 I'd guess. Anyway, good pub!

Background music was great taking me back to the 70/80's nice place to watch the football nice clear crisp pint of strongbow with Man Utd winning 5-1 what more does one need, next tim I'm in the area definatly come in again thank you

I had left my rucksack outside by one of the seats and it contained my keys, I'd medication and other valuables. it was handed to the bar man and was returned ...HOW HONEST IS THAT. SO IF YOU WANT A PLACE YOU CAN TRUST ID SAY ITS DEFINITELY UP THE TOP. A MAN AT THE BAR EVEN BROUGHT ME A DRINK COZ I WAS SO TIRED AFTER GOING AS FAST AS POSSIBLE TO GET THERE. YOU CANT ASK FOR A NICER PLACE AND PEOPLE.

Went there as the local cafe was closed. Reasonable selection of soft and alcoholic drinks at regular prices. Was able to have conversation with friend. Social distancing OK

This is a very nice looking bar with two sides of the bar last year we visited they had a great band on but obviously not now but they have a great jukebox this was a second visit this trip staff were welcoming and efficient toilets are clean and have alternative names for ladies and gents which was amusing I will visit again when I am in Eastbourne

Went on a Saturday karaoke night had such fun met some really nice people and the staff are friendly and attentive.

El perro de los inquilinos del pub tiene rango libre para los asientos y, en general, se amotinó como un amante de los perros. Acepté esto. Sin embargo, el arrendador después de gritarle al pobre perro por perseguir a mi cachorro que estaba en una pista, volvió su vil boca hacia mí y me dijeron que debía salir del pub. Se necesita una señalización clara, ya que este no es un pub apto para perros. ¡Y de hecho, como una mujer mayor, aconsejaría a cualquier cliente que paga a este negocio que evite que los arrendatarios cometan malas palabras!

Pool table, beer garden,good bands and friendly staff.

Can't believe how much this place has changed. So much better and lovely new owners. Great place a drink and the prices are cheap.

This is the place to go to see the up and coming bands as they always have different types of music every week but it does get really busy so try and get there quite a bit before the band starts. Try this place out.

Great karaoke night, had a lot of fun.

1st time there the 8-5-19 to see the Ajax vs Tottenham match and was very nice. A friendly enviroment. The gentleman at the bar DOES know how to pull proper pints. Very friendly and professional. To the owner of the pub, I am one of the 3 foreign guys that sat at the table closer to the darts board. 2 Pints Carling and 1 coke! For sure will be in more often. Best regards

Now the new landlady and landlord have taken over.. Very nice place with friendly staff.. Karaoke nights on Thursday and Saturday are brill.. But also live bands every fri.. Open till late . Couldn't recommend this pub more 👌👌

A warm welcome waits you when you visit buskers bar & that's was just right when i went in Lindsay & Steve are a lovely couple & beers are cheaper & also a pool table & dartboard & sky t v live music at weekends just hope more people come a see for them self

Very specific target audience. If you like dive bars with grungy music - you'll love this place. Otherwise, I'd not recommend. Friendly enough to 'outsiders', though.
