I order from Chopsticks whenever I’m in Eastbourne and have never been disappointed! We’ve tried pretty much every single thing on the menu and it’s always 10/10. Excellent customer service too. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Not up to the usual standard. chips were bland and the sweet and sour balls were soggy and needed a bit more cooking.

1st time I've ordered from here and the food was excellent good quality flavoursome and tasty will be ordering again thank you 😊

This is normally my favourite takeaway but today was a disaster. it was ordered two hours in advance and delivery was 45 mins later. It was luke warm and had clearly been sitting around and in transit for a while. It was a family birthday meal with young children, which spoiled the day. To add insult to injury it was only a Tuesday.

Delivery times could be better but the food was excellent and so delicious. The portions were absolutely generous.

Cheap where I can get two meals for £20, food tastes good and they are quick and effective

Disappointed because we usually have fantastic service here. Food was an hour late and cold, they kept telling us about was coming but I had to phone in the end. The food was cold, probably because the driver had been driving with it for an hour. They said they were busy, but the estimated delivery time should have reflected this. Will stick to collection from now on as that's normally fast and as I said before, their food is usually really good.

Great food apart from a 2.5 hour wait

It originally stated the delivery time was 30mins to 50mins, so I placed an order. Once placed, the delivery time immediately changed to 60 to 90 mins. After 90 mins and no update, I complained through Just Eat and the restaurant stated another 10min wait. After 2 hours of waiting, I called the restaurant and they offered me a £2 refund. I refused it as an unacceptable recompense for the long wait. During the call, my food arrived and the lady on the phone hung up on me! Do not order from here.

Regularly have food from here. However tonight we found the food £30 rubbery and not up to it's usual standard. £4 delivery fee and 1 hour 45 mins wait not great. Time to try somewhere else sadly.

Unfortunately we didn’t realise there would be prawns in noodles and my partner is allergic, his whole meal went in the bin

Ordered on just eat , delivery was about an hour , BUT food was so overcooked with black burnt bits , chicken balls were dry and burnt , we won’t be using chop sticks again !

Where to start, abysmal portion for £14, chicken was dry and crunchy, the overall salt quantity was more than the sea itself I quite literally could make a living of selling the salt that was in this box , my cereal this morning had more flavour than any of the chicken and chips in the box, I think my left nut is bigger than some of the chicken I was given, overall it did not butter any parsnips I wouldn’t even feed this to my dog ( I don’t have a dog)

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had, pretty sure my satay chicken was fish, or gone off. Will upload photo! No flavour to the curry, shouldn’t be open. The salt has burnt my tongue. If only I could swear on here I’d be a right Karen. Don’t waste your hard earned money, or even if it’s free money, don’t waste it.

Another faultless meal from Chopsticks. This is exactly how a British Chinese Takeaway should taste, just like it did years ago. Sugar and salt well balanced and full of flavour. Proper thick red sweet & sour sauce that hasn’t been diluted. Batter that has been properly seasoned on the Prawn Balls. Lemon Chicken that is both savoury and sweet with acidity that cuts through it all from the thick lemon sauce. Delicious char-siu pork in the Special Fried Rice. You get the idea. Excellent value, prompt delivery into Eastbourne town centre, and a lovely delivery driver too! Happy customers.

Awful!! Very disappointed spent £50 so assumed it would be quite a bit there but it was half burnt, all meat was tough & over cooked. £10.50 for the 1/4 duck & mainly bones & fat. Not impressed at all only used you as my normal place is closed tonight. Also not impressed as not offered any kind of refund either!

If it was possible to leave a lower star review I would, waiting over 2 hours and food has still not arrived. It was the same last time I ordered and they assured me last time it was a one off. I can now confirm it is not a one off and the service is awful, I cant comment on the food as its not even arrived. Disappointed is an understatement. Would advise people to avoid.

Absolutely gorgeous beef ho fun! Very rare to find a local Chinese takeaway that makes this dish. What a pleasant surprise! The chicken Satay was very spicy and had lots of bamboo shoots in it. The pork balls actually had char sui pork inside, not just plain pork! Very nice. First time trying Chopsticks and will definitely order from here again. Edit: First time we had chopsticks food it was great. Second time it wasn't as good. Basically no Satay sauce on the chicken skewers.. Literally like 1 teaspoon. Only 6 mini spring rolls as a portion which they forgot and we had to go back for. Not much meat in the beef ho fun. Still tasted good but massively different experience to our last takeaway from here. Kind of sad because we thought we'd found our new regular place.

Been ordering from Chopsticks for many years. I was told an hours wait, an hour and 30 minutes later I rang and was told it was out for delivery. It’s been over 2 hours since we ordered and still hasn’t turned up. I rang again and they said the order was out for delivery. Luckily it wasn’t prepaid for.

Avoid if you actually want to get your food! Food never turned up, was fobbed off 3 times and then had the audacity to refuse my refund! There are much better places in Eastbourne with better customer service. This lot are nothing but thieves

What's the big cost price from rice to noodles ( as I have been working as a chef for 35+ years) I will tell you NOTHING, surely if you want Repeat business don't annoy your customers especially when it costs you the same!!! Don't annoy customers they leave reviews

Ordered takeaway for a birthday meal through Just Eat. Ordered at 6.48 and was told delivery would be between 7.25 and 7.55 pm. Hadn't arrived by 8.20 so called takeaway to be told our meal had been given to someone else and it would be delivered in another 20 minutes. Asked for a discount and was given some prawn crackers and a bottle of pop on delivery! Meal arrived at ten too 9 pm. Happy birthday to me!

After waiting 1.5 hours and the first call I was told that the food would be delivered to me soon. It arrived cold after 2 hours and the dishes were not labeled either. i complained and said they should describe the dishes like any other delivery service, i'm muslim and don't eat pork because i ordered pork for my roommate. The sauce was also tasteless

Usually use Golden Flower which is an amazing takeaway. Unfortunately they were busy and not taking orders so tried Chopsticks. BIG MISTAKE food arrived late (1.5 hr after booking), cold and greasy. Put the majority of it in the bin. What a waste of £41. Have contacted just Eat and waiting to hear back!

1 and a half hours late for delivery after ordering it 2 hours 45 minutes earlier. 4 kids to feed on New Year's. Rang over 100 times to try and get through. Actually drove there to chase up. Felt sorry for the delivery lady, if she'd been a bloke I would have let him have it. Will not be giving Chopsticks my business in the future and I have been going there for over 30 years. BTW, chips are disgusting, haven't tried the rest, probably because I have filled myself up on Pringles...

I was told I'd wait around and hour , well after an hour and a half I called and was informed that the food was still in the kitchen , lol , after two hours I tried again and was told it was on its way , in total it took over two and a half hours and the food was disgusting to look at , Beef Chow Mein was slimy , all straight in the bin. The only reason I called Chopsticks was my regular was closed on Tuesdays and Chopsticks when Ray ran it was super good , this is now the worst I've ever tried ,

Unfortunately never leave bad reviews, but having waited 3 hour's for our food, I can no longer recommend this takeaway. They and just eats need to review their working relationship

Tried once and will never go back. Food was awful and I was stunned by the rudeness of staff over the phone, overcharged us and had no intention of refunding forgotten items. Stunned how they are still going.

If I could leave a minus review then I would the food was over 45 minutes late. We decided to call the restaurant to find out what happened to our food. He said we had already tried to deliver I said we were in all night no one tried after him calling me a liar I asked him what the colour of the door was. He couldn't tell me. Eventually it was delivered with 2 phone calls and a member of the public saying where it was. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to see where it is. The order was wrong and cold. Gave it to the cats even they didn't want it!!!!!?
