Met up with a friend and Went for spoons for breakfast, for the money it's great value but you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly and attentive The toilets were clean. Overall a positive experience.

Good atmosphere , great food friendly staff

Really unpleasant pub - surprising as I love Spoons and have visited loads of them all over the place and standards are generally high. Clientele were rowdy and inconsiderate of others. The female staff were great. Male, tattooed member of staff literally pressed his body into my partner to pass a tray over to some geezers doing shots - he didn't apologize or ask before pressing his chest and stomach over her shoulder. Layout isn't great. Half the pub turned into a dancefloor at 9 so we lost our table. There's a really nice spoons around the corner. Go there instead. We spotted it on our way back to our hotel and wished we had!

Went last night, great food, excellent service, the place was packed so that speaks for itself, definitely recommend, I love eating there

Nice pub was pretty busy but didn't have to wait long to be served had a great selection of beers and was nice and clean.

Fantastic value for traditional breakfast and unlimited hot drink. Pretty decent quality as well. You cd probably moan about how the chickens are kept and where the sausages came from. But for £3.69 for a good plate of food. I wd say unbeatable / could not possibly be undersold. No wonder Wetherspoons doing so well. Price of a pint also the only sensible price on the high street.

Fast efficient service. The rugby was on and aside from one group of lads being a tad rowdy, we were able to find somewhere to sit. Staff and patrons were friendly and the toilets were clean and tidy. Would recommend if in the area.

I had a pizza in there and as the comic book guy from The Simpsons would say worst movie ever and other quotes similar to that worst Pizza ever‼️...... service was great bartenders were great these I do not have a problem with

Disappointed..... We arrived for NYE from London. We got out a cab and tried to enter the property. The bouncer on the door approached me and my partner outside as we were finishing our smoke and straight away refused us entry. He said he had reports about us and that we had already caused trouble and we were not aloud in. I explained we had just got out of a taxi from a nearby hotel and had not been anywhere yet. He said no and told us to move on. The other bouncer on shift looked embarrassed. Lucky enough the other places nearby were happy to have us.

Love this wetherspoons and was always the "goto", but the food was abysmal this evening. Still a great place for a mouthwash but probably go elsewhere to eat in future.

There was an Asian staff (bartender) who was very rude and initially declined to serve us our food even though we ordered and paid for it via the app. Apparently, we had to show our passports to be served drinks (age limit), but he demanded that it was necessary to be served food as well. Fortunately, our hotel was nearby and so my partner could make an additional trip to take our passports. However, even before my partner returned, food was served without checking. In the end, by the time we managed to get the age checked, we had to eat the food which was already cold. The Fish and Chips portion was also smaller than usual. Not a pleasant experience.

A really good spoons with a much more chilled atmosphere than the Spoons round the corner. L&C have great food for the price you pay. The staff are amazing, particularly Blake who served me at the bar upstairs, he was very kind and had a lovely chat with me whilst he poured the drinks for my group. The manager and other staff were also very welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back soon 5/5 all the way

Small L shaped room with usual characteristics of wether spoons establishments. Usual tap beers and real ales available. Pleasantly decorated and the staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Good visit.

Had 20 minutes to kill before my bus home, popped in for a quick mid afternoon. Served straight away upon reaching the bar, money taken , beer poured, seat found. What could go wrong, well nothing. I do usually find fault with most wetherspoons but this one seems more to my liking, quite possibly because the other one in town has more space and you find tourists and families with young kids in there, whilst this one has more senior citizens.

Visited today for breakfast but very underwhelmed as food even colder than usual - poached egg completely cold and hard / also had Luke warm traditional breakfast Luke warm too!!! Food taste ok - and it’s not expensive but no excuse for food being cold - we often go there but think we might try somewhere else and pay more ??? It’s a nice place and nice staff but don’t like yo complain but could do so much better !!!!!

New manger was extremely rude. Refused service after a couple of drinks. I've been coming to here for 10 years with no issues.

Had a quick lunch here for a catch-up with a friend. Ordered food on the app The drinks came followed by the food, wasn't a long wait at all. The food was decent, with no complaints.

Food is always good value and, mostly tasty. Some staff are excellent, others not so good, but are attentive. If you want a good value meal, without worrying about other customers, I'd throughly recommend it.

Always busy I tend to go to the other one since it has more space .

Best place in town for a cheap but tasty cooked breakfast, and the unlimited tea & coffee is a great bonus. Speedy service and friendly staff.

Dear Wetherspoon Customer Service, I am writing to formally address an unfortunate incident that occurred during my recent visit to [in on 05/10. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention as it has left a lasting negative impression. During my visit, I attempted to pay with a twenty-pound sterling Danske bank note. which was not accepted. When I inquired about the reason for this refusal, the bar staff were unable to provide any explanation. This confusion escalated when I was asked to leave the premises in front of my family, which was deeply embarrassing. Furthermore, I felt that the behavior of the staff and security team was unprofessional and rude. Such conduct is unacceptable, and I believe it is essential for your team to uphold a standard of respect and courtesy towards all customers. Given the circumstances, I would appreciate a serious apology from both the manager and the security team involved in this incident. It is my hope that this feedback will lead to better training and communication among your staff in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response

Solid Spoons just around the corner from the train station. Can be a bit crowded.

I just moved to Eastbourne so I am going to the wspoons with in a certain frequency and I am impressed on how clean, organised and reliable it is. The staff is very kind, welcoming, always smiling, even when it gets busy, I don't know if I would manage to be that kind in such moments. So congrats!!

It's a nice relaxing place to eat, we were upstairs. Our drinks were delivered to us, shortly after ordering via the phone app. And the food arrived was about 10/15mins later. Would definitely recommend this place to eat dinner.

Lovely comfortable pub. Food very good value and good quality. Young man on bar duty was particularly helpful with getting wi-fi signal, directing us to nearest bus-stop and generally good service, particularly noticing that the coffee machine was needing attention when I used it. He was very patient, thorough and kind. All in all we were very happy with everything, especially the price of a pint!

Didn't eat just dropped in for a quick drink, quick service staff very pleasant.

This pub could be so much better, if you had more bar staff. Usually there is a queue at the bar, and the one person serving cannot keep up. It's not just that u have one person working, u have one or maybe two people taking out food, clearing ta bles, washing glasses. The wait is silly. On a positive, never had a bad pint. Never had any trouble in there. And generally the bar staff seem happy.

Came here for dinner and had the normal great experience as you do from most weathspoons. There's the normal menu that has something for everyone, and service is quick, especially if you order on the app. They have some good deals, which makes it even cheaper. Good amount of seating upstairs and down. Opposite the station, which is handy.

Was told curries only available with rice on Curry Club Night (Thursdays) elsewhere you have an option for Rice or Chips. Food was the norm. Plus up stairs bar is quieter then down stairs so a bonus. It's also has toilets on both levels. As there's a bar.

Nice local pub, well stocked unlike other Spoons we've been to. staff constantly asked a couple to leave because they had a dog. I know it's no dogs allowed BUT we were outside, it was a tiny chihuahua, in a handbag. It was not doing any harm.

Went with my husband and ladies toilets were OK but for some reason they don't look after the men. No loo paper, cubicle didn't lock....why??

Great place to have a full English breakfast! The "large" breakfast is a looot of food (see photo). I added black pudding, tomatoes and an iced coffee and only paid 10 pounds. It was delicious! Even if you are very hungry, the regular size is probably enough.

I was sitting outside having a drink with my family then without warning I was abused and physically threatened !!.by another customer drinking outside the bar who obviously had too much to drink!!Another couple came help me, and went to the bar and asked for security to help. After several minutes !!! a member of staff appeared ,and said that the was very little he could do but ask the yob to leave . Is this Werherspoons policy to allow a family tasko be abused by another drunken customer. Just asking

Slighty above average wetherspoons in my experience. Outside seating area and 2 floors available. Good value food and drink. I had their small fish w/ chips and peas for their afternoon deal with a Leffe beer. Was £7.3 which is crazy good considering you could spend easily double that at any other pub.

Had a large breakfast which has 2 fried eggs. Unfortunately they over cooked these! When you like a runny egg or 2, this is a disappointment. Everything else was as it usually is in Wetherspoon, good quality

Tiny portions of what tasted like cheap packaged food - not freshly made. Had to send our food back as it was stone cold. Would not return to another Wetherspoons after this experience sadly.

came to this pub for a few drinks with friends. found seating upstairs and received quick service from the bar up there, food came out quickly and was nice and hot.

Another JD wetherspoons!! Ordered a pint of Pepsi.. said to bar person "Only a SMALL amount of ice please!! They then FILLED the pint glass with ice!! I said a SMALL amount!! If the bar manager wasn't there to say take that ice out and put a few cubes in!! I would have ended up with 90% ice 10% drink!! Also surprised to find toilets on the ground floor AND not a route march away from the bar!!!

It's a public house people there a dime a dozen. To be honest l find pubs these days meh. Alcohol is way too expensive but the food served here is typical fare. It won't rock the world but it is to a good standard

I am a fan of Spoons but tonight's experience was dreadful. The beer took 25mins to arrive and when it did , our order for Shipyard was clearly Ruddles.. the upstairs bar steward aggressively insisted we were wrong and told us to take it downstairs, where they agreed and swapped the beer for Shipyard. My sons Ultimate burger did not contain the special burger sauce and his potato chips included halloumi! My steak and kidney pudding meal was truly appalling, a s very small overcooked pudding totally dry inside, mashed potato overcooked and dry, onion gravy unsalted. Almost inedible. Clearly the cook needs retraining. I won't be going again. And of course no member of staff asked for my feedback

I'm not a pub person, but the food was nice, the place is comfy, the tables are too close for my liking, and the noise level was much too loud, otherwise it was ok.

Quick and easy find your table with it's number order your food and enjoy. Most meals have a soft drink or a alcohol drink both have a set price. Eastbourne has 2 weatherspoons to choose. Much cheaper than most places especially on a budget.

Every thing to a good standard.

We tend to use the other Wetherspoon for food and the London and County for drinks as it's smaller, with less tables. For a change we went upstairs and were lucky to find the last table so had dinner. All was fine so we'll try again next time.

Appalling service at the bar. Completely ignored by staff, left waiting for ages and no regards for who's next in line. Staff need to learn how to be bar staff.

On a 5 day break to Eastbourne i came in for lunch and had the sausage and mash which i enjoyed very much found the service was very good as well

Not too impressed. Food ok for the price if you like it cold. Staff ok but not the quickest. What I would call a supermarket pub, have a drink and something to eat then move on.

Imagine having someone like this person managing this place, absolutely rude and irrational will definitely report to the headquarters.

Really nice wetherspoons. Very clean and modern, plenty of friendly helpful staff. Didn't have to wait long at all at the bar to be served. It's definitely one of the better spoons I've been in. Pub is spread out over two floors, so there is plenty of space.

Busy, some very loud and obnoxious guests when we visited unfortunately. Panini was underwhelming.

Stopped by for a pint while waiting for the train, cosy, clean, and well priced. Toilet facilities were good too.

I mean, it's a Spoons, but as Spoons go, I was actually impressed. They serve Blue Moon on tap, which always makes me love a place. They also had a number of drink deals I haven't seen offered at other Spoons. Right next to the station so perfect to pop in while waiting.

Absolutely starving when we went here and the grub ordered was demolished in seconds! Good food and service and good beer. Some items were forgotten tho but after reminding them, they turned up! Overall, it was a good time!

Wasn't impressed with the steak and kidney pudding and mash. The mushy peas and mashed potato were dry and crusty and the gravy was barely warm. Wouldn't recommend eating there.

Great Wetherspoons right opposite the train station in Eastbourne and right opposite the bus stops. Right in the centre of town near the shops and The Beacon Shopping centre. Lovely old building with an upstairs with more seating. Very busy. Staff very helpful and friendly and efficient and took my order straight away. Food is great, hot cooked food and very quick service. Very clean. The atmosphere was very nice relaxed lunchtime. All reasonable priced and the January sale this month is worth having at £2.99 a breakfast.
