Busy buzzing spoons, nice staff and plenty waiting tables. A well organised spoons right in town centre. Good mix of real ales and some new menu items yet to be tried.

Went there for breakfast, food was not as hot as would be expected. Usual good priced food and drinks . Coffee at £1.71 and unlimited refills , were good from a machine using Lavatza coffee.

Busy spoons with a great beer garden sun trap. Fast service and a good selection of drinks on the menu including real ales. Service was fast to the table even when busy.

This beautifully renovated pub was great for an end-of-the-day let's relax with a pint and food. The quality of the food was amazing and tasty one of the best Wetherspoons I've been to. The staff were friendly and quick.

Went there today and a member of staff sitting in the no smoking area having a cigarette, I said it's no smoking he said it was ok yesterday as there wasn't anyone around.

Sorry... didn't know it was a Wetherpoons pub. The food was ok, the drinks were inexpensive, but in the end... it is a sports bar.

Of the 2 'spoons in Eastbourne we prefer the Cornfield Garage. Though larger and busier we don't feel so crammed when dining. We usually pop in for their good breakfasts but this time it was not as hot as it should be.

Unfortunately there were a lot of very loud people who must have been there a number of hours

Popped in for a drink when we'd had a wander around Eastbourne shopping centre. Typical Wetherspoons with staff rushed off their feet and working their socks off. Wheelchair friendly and we were pleasantly surprised that there weren't any stairs to access the toilets, they were on the ground floor.

Popped in here today place is a right dump dirty tables food all over the floor, brought a Pepsi max it was flat and tasted really flat. Probably would not bother going here again gone right down hill

Is just amazing, I really enjoy my traditional meat feast pizza, always have extras. Just as a note of reference, the pizza in eastbourne weather spoon is bigger and only now because value for the money you spend is cheaper than other locations but I will always go for my special pizza tritment.

The pub itself is probably the nicest Wetherspoons I have been in, maybe the exception being the in Ledger Building in Canary Wharf. The toilets are again probably the nicest cleanest pub loos I have ever been in, top marks for that. The food again was excellent by Wetherspoon standards. All this was spoilt by the bar staff. If there are slower less observant pub staff then I have yet to experience them. I waited almost 15 minutes to be served, the barmaid (dyed black hair and a nose ring) preferred to serve anyone in front of her rather than those who were waiting longest. Then when she had served everyone but me she said to a colleague that she was "popping off for a bit", and when she returned she served someone who just walked up to the bar. It wasn't a personal thing either, this was my first time here. The other bar staff moved around behind the bar as if they were walking in treacle. So in summary great pub but terrible staff.

Food is generally OK but I've experienced on a few occasions food been luke warm , and not appetising although most staff members are happy to help there is a few rude staff members , also tables being clean you have to find someone to wipe it down. Not all the time, this is generally when it's busy. Other then that is OK 👍

Typical 'spoons', very busy on the Wednesday evening we were there. Disappointing that first 2 choices of white wine were not available. Staff were pleasant.

Meet there once a month with my mate for a breakfast which is cheap and pretty good . Cheap drinks on a night out but the staff are miserable and very rude

Myself and a couple of friends came past late Thursday afternoon for a quick pint. The barman, served a young man standing next to me who had only just arrived.. I said "Excuse me, but we were first". His only response was "Yea but I'm serving him now". Again.. I mentioned the fact "Sorry.. but we were first in line not this man". The only response I couldnt get was the same. I had no choice but to accept the rudeness and blatant disrespect. But to make matters worse.. is after serving this man, he went and served other people who had walked to the bar only seconds prior after the first man who pushed in. You cant make it up.. where do they find these people? The lack of customer service, and the blatant display of disrespect would have set off a better man. There really needs to be better organisation behind the bar. And staff really really do need a attitude check. This needs to happen quickly because some people wont tolerate this kind of disrespect.. not just once but twice within a few minutes. And when that bar staff is seen again he will be spoken to about the error of his ways.

It was just too busy to be able to get quick table service , I prefer my lovely Bexhill spoons.

We had a nice lunch here today. A burger, a gourmet burger, halloumi with a dip and salad and two cokes; our bill was circa £21! Ordering at the bar was easy, the bar staff were efficient and the food was served promptly even though the restaurant was full. The food was nicely cooked and presented, the serving staff were efficient and friendly too, even doing a meal check. Our table was cleared promptly with the staff member checking again that we were happy with our meal. We were very impressed and look forward to returning.

Easy to find..its as nice early in the morning for a coffee as is lunchtime for a sarnie or later for evening meals..or just a drink whenever. You can't go wrong with a wetherspoons. This one always seems clean and friendly when we've visited the town.

Third Spoons of the day! Been here a few times but a first for Madge and Casta. I am old enough to remember this as a posh car showroom in my distant youth. Had a pint of Nottingham Legend bitter, the best beer so far today. A large one room Spoons with a courtyard at the Bolton St end. A CAMRA Good Beer Guide regular and Cask Marque. Great ale selection.

Hi all, I went for a drink in Eastbourne Witherspoons with 6 friends tonight before a curry night we had planed. We had 4 rounds and that was ok but the service was a little slow then. After curry all 6 of us went back to Wetherspoons hoping to have a good few more rounds, but the bar staff by that time was a shambles. We waited 20 min or more and after when the barman just served the pretty girls who just turned up after us, we all left to drink else where. Shame as would of spent quiet a bit of money. I think your head office needs to sort things out they are loosing money and custom. Well to be fair I don't blame the young barmen serving the pretty girls 1st, but the waiting time does need serious addressing as I will think twice now going back their with my friends. Not the best Weatherspoons I've visited, but on the plus side, it has a garden. Drinks were cheap as you exoect from a spoons. Went for breakfast full English ordered one large one small. Items missing off the large and the small looked like it had been thrown on the plate.

This was my second visit to this Wetherspoons pub, having previously visited in summer 2024 on business. I was back in the area again so gave it another go, and overall the visit this time was pretty decent, with a tasty spicy chicken meal and a good value pint of beer. Service was speedy via the App and I have no complaints beyond the pub looking a little tatty. The food was served nice and hot and the spicy meal lived up to my expectations.

Having been to this venue before its very grubby now, Table's looking filthy and look like they have never wiped, some of the staff need training how to wipe tables down correctly. Toilets are not the same as thet used to be, I've seen staff just tick the check sheet rather than actually clean them, Cubical's dont checked and filled with loo rolls either. Bar staff can be a bit dosile as well as rude.

Typical Spoons during the day. Breakfast was cold. So is the lager. As is the atmosphere... Enjoy.

The most useless bar staff I've ever come across, they can't work out who's next at the bar even if your the only one at the bar. Staff stand around talking and fail to recognise if you are waiting or if you are drinking at the bar and empty...so what its cheap the place is soulless

Buzy and noisy but food was fast and staff were fast

Me and my friends went here for some food as it is our regular spot to go and eat we was just about to press order and someone came over at 4:30 and pressed thee body camera making very uncomfortable and told us we was not allowed to eat in here as we was not 18 or with an adult we are both 17 and very responsible. I am very upset

I come to Eastbourne monthly and make a beeline for this glorious pub! I find the ale excellent, the staff work hard and gloriously, an open fire! I exchange banter with 2 fine bar staff (about football): Chris and Del. I do not recognise some of the previous negative remarks whatsoever!!!

Good place foods above average cheap enough thou which is why we come always busy but great atmosphere

No matter when you visit, this place is rammed and extremely noisy (Lombard Effect). Service time from app is ok, also the staff are extremely polite. However the tables are sticky and dirty from previous users, the member of staff cleaning tables, acted as though, I had asked for the crown jewels, when asking for a wet cloth. The cloth used was dirty from previous tables, and only made the table sticker.

Busy place on the day of visit limited seating as lunchtime but able to get a drink or 2 app worked fine for ordering to table

The place is lovely and spacious, but can get quite busy. Service was excellent, food and drinks delivered in a very timely manner. The food was good, I had pasta which could have been a bit bigger, but then that’s because I’m a greedy B! 😜 My only criticism was the apply crumble wasn’t entirely defrosted!

Probably THE worst Wetherspoons establishment I have visited. On the 4 occasions I have been to Eastbourne my breakfast has been frankly terrible and on each occasion I have had to ask for the empty hot drink machines to be refilled. Today my plate was probably loaded from a distance with 1 burnt fried egg and 1 half cooked. About 8 cold baked beans and cold untoasted toast. Not particularly appetising really and about time the floor and tables were properly cleaned? Management be aware?

The food was of good quality and was brought to us very quickly and the staff were friendly and the place was fine not the best weather spoons I've ever been to but not bad at all

My friend and I had an early dinner here on a Monday night. Although we went about 6.30pm it was pretty full, and more tables did become available after we arrived. My friend had the fish and chips and I had the chicken tikka masala. We both enjoyed our meals. The only issue was the nam being quite solid as it had been microwaved but the curry is great value for money and very tasty. We ordered from the app and the food was promptly delivered to our table. We both had desserts, apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding. I added a portion of bananas to my pudding and that was a good addition.

Service was quick however all staff look incredibly moody and angry and bring the atmosphere down tremendously.

Unfortunately, despite it only being 12.30pm, they had already run out of the Christmas roast dinners? Such a shame.

Dropped with friends after a chance meeting outside. Delighted to report it's still as good as it was 15 years back when I was a regular.

I love spoons but this one isn't the best. It's OK but the staff seem uninterested and on more than one occasion I have had to ask for a glass when ordering a canned drink.

Slow food, not very good, lukewarm warm and not very tasty…..took so long I ended up with a parking ticket

Not been for several years after a bad experience previously, fast forward, nothing has changed! toilets,tables needed cleaning, 20 minutes to get served at bar, people pushing in front, staff couldn’t care less even when pointed out, draft beer tasted awful, watched food being returned repeatedly. Drunks causing problems! Yet place was packed and this was in the afternoon!

A very busy and large Spoons. Food was ok, but a little cold. This was a very busy Saturday just before Christmas. Food was hot when it arrived but cooled down very quickly.

It is a Wetherspoon .... Cheap drinks and people who like that......just only go for drinks....never eat there....and yet that is my opinion. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For drinks.....only drinks. I would never eat there....just not that brave did I say 4 stard.for drinks

A moment of fun in an otherwise cruel world.we were both wearing shirts with the Norton logo.. but mine was on a t shirt i was wearing under another.. he got a surprise when i did a superman reveal to match with his Norton...

To be honest the old saying you get what you pay for applies to this place, it's cheap. The portions are very small and quality only average. The worst thing was it was all luke warm almost cold. The dessert was terrible, Apple crumble with ice cream. The crumble was raw flour and sugar. Won't be going back 🥴

Quite a small place with usual tap beers and real ales. Carpeted throughout with nice tables and chairs. Beer was good at a good price. Staff were friendly and polite. Really nice visit.

Its Spoons, does what it says on the tin. Came in for their Traditional Breakfast, easy to order on the app, added extra hash brown. Polite waitress who checked on us. The coffee from the machine is actually pretty good. I do recommend the Espresso. I think they use Lavazza coffee.

Budget food at budget prices. Great coffee, hot drinks all refillable at low cost.

Great food and atmosphere very clean

Went for breakfast. Food was great, and they had a wide range of options at very reasonable prices. Ambience was pretty nice as well (we went on a Saturday morning, and it wasn’t too crowded). Toilets were also spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

Look, it's a Spoons, it's cheap and the food isn't bad - the chips in particular are excellent. Our food got forgotten and we waited an hour but the staff were lovely and very apologetic that we got overlooked. I had ham egg and chips, ham was lovely, chips amazing, egg yolks hard, but that said, my mum had the same and her yolks were perfect!

Fair prices and good products. The service is friendly and quick. However, something could be cleaned better. But we will come back, there is something cozy about it

I loved this place. I was student in 2020, and I was foreign, every sever were so kind and every food was so nice. My best pick was fish n chips and it's still my favorite

I'd never been to this Wetherspoons before, it's huge inside! Lovely day out in Eastbourne finished off with a meal. As usual the food was very good, nice atmosphere in the pub.

Very poor service at bar waited about ten minutes to be served when bar staff did come to serve me he walked of again to do the app and plus they didn't watch who was next very nice bounce on door and plenty

As locals, we use this place a couple of times a week. But mostly, we go to the London & county. As the staff are more friendly, better trained and a more comfortable environment.

Really handy and quite central if you want a meal and a pint. Had the steak and pepper sauce...not bad at all. Possibly a 5 or 6 minute walk to the beaches so you can easily walk it off. 2 minutes from Eastbourne train station.

This wasn't a bad wetherspoons, we went In at around 4pm as a group of 15 and the place was extremely busy so we had to Sit in the garden as nowhere else. Good pub good food and drinks but could do with getting some garden heaters

Everyone knows what to expect with a Wetherspoons pub! Cheap and fairly good beer, Cheap and fairly awful food, Cheap and badly trained staff. Cornfield Garage is no different But seriously £2.50 for a half pint of diet coke, when a pint of lager is £2.99? Wish I had gone to the co-op next door and sat and drunk out of the can at the bus-stop

My Girlfriend Sue a mature woman hadn't ever been to a Wetherspoons , or Launderette, So being in the holiday mood after traveling 251 miles . Had looked up the reviews Cornfield Garage , Hooray she loved the meal bought me pint of Guinness Sue had pint of Stella . Cheers me dears

Poor service, no one checked to see if food was ok, mixed grill over cooked. Pudding nuked in microwave and ice cream had lumps of ice it in. Only plus is price of beer, recommend to drink here not to eat
