Special Chow mein? Nothing special! Hardly any meat, just noodles. Will be returning to the takeaway 4 doors away. Most disappointing.

Friday night 8pm I ordered in store I was told a 30 to 45 minute wait, I waited over an hour, the portion sizes are very small, the food is bland, it’s got to be the worst Chinese I’ve ever had! It was my first and last time I’ve ordered from here, I normally order from new China Unfortunately it was closed for holidays

Very slow and poor service ordered over the phone at 7pm told to collect at 8pm arrived at 8pm and had to wait 30 minutes for my food! Very poor service only came as my usual place I swear by was closed for holiday won’t be returning

Disappointing 😞 never had a problem before ! Much smaller portions , price does not reflect this , Half a tub of curry sauce , half a tub of sweet and sour , whereas one would serve 2 people now this is not the case . Chow mein much smaller portion Really sad 😔

Appalling service tonight. A simple meal for one person. Told half an hour. No problem. After 45 mins was told it would be closer to an hour!! Unacceptable. Thanks for wasting my evening. Wont be returning.

We’ve eaten around a lot and have just had probably the best Chinese takeaway ever!! Beautifully presented an utterly delicious meal of generous proportions. I doubt we’ll ever order from anywhere else again!!

The vegetable spring rolls were quite nice, but didn't come with a dip sauce. Unfortunately the special chow mein I ordered was overly greasy and bland. Small chucklets of pork, tiny strips or chicken and beef and about half a dozen shrimp. Alas, it wasn't good. Nice clean shop though.

Best food ever. You tell them how you want it .if you don’t want something in your fried rice they won’t put it in. Friendly staff. Been using them for years wouldn’t go anywhere else now 10/10

The beef Currys are the dogs bollox

Without doubt the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. The beef chow mein had a bad after taste and the salt n chilli chicken was poor. I will not use this place again.

Been going to this take away 14 years and always great quality food. They are very understanding of gluten free and cook our food for us separately with no problems.

We always pick the same dishes when we order and they are lovely but the one we had yesterday was excellent. Service is so friendly as well . Thank you from Mr Peel

Great food very nice people I have been using them for over two years and have never had a problem with there food or service.

This is possibly one of my favourite take aways. My family have enjoyed this food for many years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff are so friendly and polite and the food has always been the best quality and piping hot.

We ordered dinner for 3 of us, the food took over 1h 30 to come it was cold and wrong order. Even the meals we got (which they wrote on the lids saying the name & No of the meal) looked nothing like the meal we should have got. I have put a picture on of what we received and what it should look like. To be honest it looks like dirty dish water. We paid near on £40 for our meals and most of it wasn't even eaten. We were very disappointed with what we got, we did phone in and complain and they said they would send out another chopsuey to replace the one we had been sent and it was exactly the same plastic box of dirty dish water with chicken, carrots and beansprouts but nothing else as in picture disgusting 🤢. I wouldn't recommend this takeaway at all to anyone so sad but a fact.

It is the only chinese take away that are prepared to cater to my husbands dietary needs. The food is deliciously flavoursome and is our favourite even when diets weren't an issue.

This has always been our favourite Chinese takeaway lovely staff be prepared to wait as it is a popular takeaway but it is worth it

We were in the area on Saturday 18.01.20 at 2 minutes to 12 and I knew this is one of the few Chinese places that opens for lunch, so we drove along and parked outside. We went up to the door and tried it but it was still locked. Never mind we thought, it'll open in a couple of minutes as that is the time on the door and on their menu as we've been here before. We waited the 2 mins and at 12 we got more hopeful. No one came to open the door. My husband stayed outside whilst I went back to the car to get my phone to ring to tell them we were standing outside. A man came out of the doorway to the kitchen but ignored my husband. So I rang and no answer. I rang off and tried again, no answer. It was now 5 past 12. We drove off If they don't want our business and money that's their loss. Went home and ordered from Shanghai Time who also deliver at lunchtimes and it's better food - win win.

Its moved to the broadway now but same telephone number.

Well what can I say about this Restaurant as I had a takeaway with my friends and they were the one's that told me that they had eaten here before so I ordered a takeaway from them and I was very disappointed in the quality of the food as the rice wasn't cooked properly,the chicken chow main was a bit cold so I was very disappointed that I had to order a takeaway pizza as I was still hungry.

Our chinese from here wasnt good at all, very dry chicken,tastless,prawn balls were over cooked and the chilli beef was rock hard most of it went in the bin we will not be returning

First time ordering from here as the one we not.ally order from was closed and it was not nice at all. No-one enjoyed their dinner. There was just no flavour and most of it was thrown away. We must be spoilt by our usual Chinese. The Chicken Balls were the only thing everyone liked.

Have been eating our Chinese from here for a long time always loved it.....but tonight I had chicken chow me in with 3 bones in it 1 was large...never happened in all the years we have had our Chinese.....all in the bin😡

Avoid! 🤢 prawns in black bean sauce was worst ive ever had. Watery and no spice at all. Prawn toast soggy! And well special fried rice was bland and im pretty sure they use bacon lardons for the pork! Inside shop needs a good clean and tidy up, not good first impression. Funny old grease smell going on too! And yeah £2 for prawn crackers!?

I've ordered from you for years and years. Last night I was sadly disappointed. Your food has always been the best hence i order from you and no other's. last night however was the worst. undercooked rice and burnt chowmein. I'm so disappointed. that is £20 that I had to put in the bin. Never never has it been like that. Have you changed your chef? See my orders for how many times I've ordered from you and never once complained...........

Used this Chinese for 10 years, food is lovely. Tried many others and this is the nicest. If you like chicken satay or crispy shredded beef this is the place to be. Can't say the same for the chicken chow mein today tho not quite sure what the chicken was meant to be, was gooey and gross although usually no problem. Portions are small and it's quite expensive for what you get but I do think most the food is worth the money. No prawn crackers which is always a bummer

Very expencive spent £20 and didn't get free prawn crackers had to ask . Then to be told don't normally do it but then gave me some . Not a lot for money spent

Great food if you don't mind waiting for hours on end ,have no idea about customer service Ordered my meal at when premises opens 5pm first order in.Im informed 1 hour finally delivered at 6.20. All you get we are busy ,Will not use them again as not worth the wait and rudeness just for a take away ,
