Kim's Take Away in Eastbourne

Lully!! We ordered house special chow mein, Singapore chow mein , sweet and sour king prawn balls and prawn crackers, all of it was really tasty! The Singapore noodles had a great flavour of curry powder, not too overpowering like some takeaways we’ve had recently.the house special chow mein had a tasty sauce over them, and full of different meat, prawns and Vegetables.The prawn ball’s we’re great, not too greasy either! Great service! And even the delivery lady was polite and friendly 🤩👍🏼… definitely worth ordering a takeaway

Beautiful food, and hot and on time. Completely outshines all other Chinese in Eastbourne.

We decided to order here through recommendation. Unfortunately it was a massive disappointment, the food looked pale no colour and tasted very salty no flavour. I don’t recommend.

Food is cooked very well and clean but portion sizes not great seems as they will give you lots of the cheaper stuff rice etc to bulk up the size but very little of the meat / prawns

Used Kim’s for years, usually order the same dish with a certain request of ‘no peppers’ and never been let down until recently. A couple of times in the past, I have forgotten to add that note and have been courtesy called just to double check! However last twice I have ordered, this note has been ignored. It’s not an allergy, I just really dislike peppers and it makes all the food taste of them. The portion size of duck has gone down despite a price rise as well. A real shame.

Honestly best chinese I've had in Eastbourne for years. Was so fresh and everyone one in the family enjoyed it. No complaints. Honestly so glad that we can order from a good chinese.

Food terrible hardly any meat and what meat you get is so fatty. Will not be ordering again unfortunately. Seriously. Was so disappointed. So much fat on the duck. Hardly anything to taste from.

Some of the most bland Chinese food I've ever had. Won't be going here again I'm afraid, terrible. Thank god I had soya sauce at home 🫣

Went there for the first time for takeaway. I ordered the king prawn chow mein and i was very disappointed with the food- they put only 4 prawns in the whole dish! And hardly anything else in the mix. Food quality poor. Wont be visiting again.

Food good as usual, but the chicken balls ordered and paid for were not delivered. Will still order again though as the food is so good 👍🏼

The service is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is the best in town, always hot, fresh and tasty. The pork dumplings are sublime! Highly, highly recommended!

Great portion sizes. The best satay sauce around. Also have amazing vegan/vegetarian duck dish. Their spring rolls are Fantastic too. Best Chinese takeaway in Eastbourne in my opinion👍🏼

Lack of sauce and the dishes weren’t the best. Rice was overdone. Called up the restaurant and poor service, told me that they added plenty of sauce and didn’t want to help. Seems as if the person that I spoke to had an attitude. No way of contacting anyone else.

The food was very good I had it twice while I was visiting my son's and grandchildren freshly cooked and house chow mein was excellent

Was very unhappy ordered a curry got no rice ordered a chicken omlette which wasn't a chicken omlette and got no chip which we ordered with it chicken balls where greesy and curry sauce was runny very disappointed

Food overall quality and taste was good however there were a couple disappointing portions. The chicken balls were unusually stringy. I've never had this before however it made the texture unpleasant. The chicken satay stir fry had a very low meat content for the £5+ it cost. The special fried rice was very tasty and I enjoyed the lemon chicken.

Always friendly and polite, love their food. Always as quick as they can be and helpful.

Meal out cancelled, so tried here. Reviews mixed but continued on. Can I just say we received 'on time' a lovely meal . Portions a good size, nice & hot . Very tasty meal so thankyou all & would recommend/order again 😋🤗

If you're trying to decide on a Chinese and spent 2 hours finding a good one like we did, just stop searching and go for Kim's. Staff was friendly. Food was good, delivery arrived much quicker than planned, still warm and prices are cheap too compared to other restaurants. Defo would recommend

Ordered food in morning for 7pm on new years eve, order rejected at 6pm, why couldn't you let us know at 1630 when you opened.

Best Chinese in Eastbourne. Starters all crispy and amazing. They use quality ingredients, big prawns, good cuts of meat and fresh veg etc. I always collect in person and never had any delays

Love their sweet and sour chicken balls, the fact that they do half portion is great. The menu is reasonably priced too. They do deliver for a small fee.

Thought I would try Kim’s as my usual takeaway had gone downhill, read the reviews and either very good or very bad, however I ordered a takeaway via phone. Polite staff, ready on time and reasonable price. Got home and served up food, the sweet and sour chicken balls were very good, egg fried rice seemed to consist of whole meal rice and not much egg, the beef noodles was a disappointment, the beef was fatty, looked like it had been boiled, tasteless and not much of it, the noodles were nice. The crispy beef had lots of sauce and looked nice but the beef again did not taste right. So overall a disappointment and I won’t be going back. Still cash only….I can only think of 1 reason you only accept cash in this day and age.

Had a takaway delivered from here the food was served quickly and Lovely and hot. I certainly will be going back again and can highly recommended it.

Always order from here and never had a single problem! I even ordered food for my mum and they recognised my address and phone asking if I'd like a certain food without onions! (Because my mum can't eat them) amazing service! Amazing food!!!

Beef chowmein looks so pale its blending in with my white bowl it is flavourless and bland with only 3 bits of so called beef I have never had beef that looks like this it wouldnt surprise me if they was taking cats or dogs of the street times are hard at the moment but there food I would avoid completely if I could post a picture I would

Used just eat for takeaway. After an hour waiting, with no answer from their phone when we tried to check why it was late, our order was cancelled without explanation.

In my opinion Kim's is 1 of the best Chinese take always in eastbourne friendly staff and very good food. You would be hard pushed to find a better tasting food in this Eastbourne

Our favourite and the best local Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately closed till 2and December according to the phone message. Hope it reopens the same as it is the best around.

We had a takeaway delivered. Prawn toast saturated in grease, all you could taste was grease. Spicy salt n chilli ribs weren't hot or spicy hardly any veg. Beef n black pepper was bland and tasteless. Not for me...

Eat here once every two weeks or so. Best Chinese on seaside and it's 30 seconds from the house so can't complain. Lucky lucky to have a good Chinese so close better than the ones further away.

First time ordering from here last night and I was really happy with everything, it was delicious, looked appetising and was reasonably priced. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

This is the best Chinese I have tried so far. Will definitely be back.. they are very busy also which is a good sign but it does mean a wait for your order.

Overall ok, but crispy aromatic duck wasnt crispy and not with the bone as in picture. Would have appreciate if I was told and customers should be given options if they want it to not. Room for improvement. .
