The best restaurants in Brighton and Hove South East

A hidden gem that you must visit. Attentive service, delicious food cooked to perfection. A feast to the taste buds. I would highly recommend a visit. We visited for a special occasion and were blown away.

Great customer service and great food.

Absolutely loved our experience at *Shayan Restaurant in Brighton*! The *Iranian food* was incredibly flavorful and authentic — especially the kebabs and stews. They also had *great vegetarian options*, which was perfect for our group. The atmosphere was *warm, cozy, and welcoming*, making it feel just like home. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Definitely one of the best Persian spots in town. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous food, even better people. We came here for a special occasion, and had one of everything on the menu. The portions were generous and we got to sample so many flavours! At the end Manju herself came out of the kitchen, and we felt like treasured customers, despite only having visited once before. We hope to bring our friends very soon. A strong recommendation for this hidden treasure!

Hmm. Hard one to rate. Food was good maybe even very BUT the amount of meat in meat dishes was minimal if I had to estimate 70g or less on a plate… the levels of spiciness did not match what we ordered and biangbiang dish came straight from the kitchen already room temperature which I can’t understand. I have mixed feelings because noodles itself were great and flavours very rich but it didn’t feel cohesive on the plate. Compulsory 10% service charge… I think makes it less worth the money than one might think going there. Go check out but for more often visits you won’t find me there…

Best authentic Korean food in Brighton. Me and a friend came out of town and was looking for dinner. As soon as we walked in, the service was very accommodating. The waiter thourougly explained what was in each dish which helped up a lot. The food came quick and was very fresh. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back if i'm town again.

the barman tonight was very charming and overall i’d say he is on a positive upwards trajectory in his service career. he said his name was clark but obviously that must be a pseudonym. i don’t recommend the “hobnotto” he was trying to sell to us which comprised a small glass of homemade stout with a hobnob biscuit in it. it was vile. nonetheless, best pub in the universe.

El equipo allí es muy amable y atractivo, te hizo sentir como si estuvieras comiendo en un amigo. El restaurante se siente bastante despojado de la espalda que da una sensación bastante cálida. Las pizzas eran increíbles.

Came for dinner the other evening as we had seen such great reviews online. In all honesty, the food was very average. The pizza I had did not have much tomato sauce and was quite bland to be honest. Cocktails were nice, server was friendly though, but for the price I think there are much better options in Brighton to be honest. Wasn't terrible, but really very average

Drinks were amazing, plus the happy hour deals made it really affordable to have such a lush cocktail experience. Staff are always so friendly as well. Highly recommend the stardew and bounty hunter!

Came here for brunch with the old man (future #1 best-selling author) to enjoy a nice meal. The food was quite splendid and tasty. Nice service and a wide range of items to choose from. Would recommend for an outing with a cosy atmosphere ☺️

Another great cafe in Brighton with its own personal twist. Dharma is a great place to work or meet friends, with a friendly and warm atmosphere, where staff seem so relaxed and honest. The food was the highlight of my visit, with a really nice shakshouka, seemingly far more traditional than you get at most brunch places nowadays - cheesy, slightly spiced and all mixed together. It was delicious. The coffee was good too, though maybe fell a little short of my expectations. All in all, Dharma coffee is a unique cafe that is worth a visit if you want a brunch menu that’s a little something different, Turkish inspired, and great service!

The most amazing piece of Haddock I've ever had !! I'll never go anywhere else!!!
