Best kimchi pancake I've ever tasted and the service is great. I was served by hae-in and she was incredibly helpful, friendly & had great customer service!

Love this place, especially the fried chicken!

They mirco manage people of colour with the bbqs. They do not allow birthday celebrations although it was all written in my booking. Basically unless you are Asian or have Asian friends to go with do not bother wasting your money here and go to Yori instead they are super friendly and the food is actually delicious.

been here multiple times over the last couple years and can say that i’ve never been disappointed! lighting fast service, vibrant atmosphere and delicious food! (personally think soju has the best vegan chicken in brighton) no meal would be complete without the delicious sombek, a drink that i’ve never tasted before visiting Soju! delightful all round!

I must say I had definitely an amazing meal here. The atmosphere is great and the staff were nice. I definitely loved the Melona Melon Ice Bar haha. I would say that I was expecting bigger portions of food tho compared to prices as I definitely get more in London and Colchester for that type of price but it definitely was all fresh and tasted nice. Also got have to say I am surprised they had Peach Soju as majority of places I go they never have it.

Overrated Expensive for the quality And the hygiene didn't look good I would not recommend this place

Hyerin looked after us wonderfully. Service was next to none, extremely friendly. Food came very quickly, was hot, crispy and delicious. Ambience and music was great. We will be back, a lot!

The food was delicious and the staff was so polite and helpful. The place looked very clean, including the bathrooms. I would tell you to ask for recommendations from the server because she knows what she's talking about and will be really helpfull.

I wasn't sure what to expect. We had difficulty in getting to our usual place for mothering Sunday and finally reserved a table here. I wasn't impressed when I walked in, mainly the decorations. But the staff were friendly and helpful. I wanted to try the BBQ. That's what we had plus some small plates. All very good. Upstairs decorations look much better than downstairs. Not cheap. It was over £100 for 4 of us. Will go again.

The snacks were so delicious that I drank alcohol~~ Boss~ Thank you for the pancake service. I was very impressed while in a foreign country.

Korean style mash-up of bar/pub and café but the food is a bit more upmarket than a fried breakfast. Oh, and if you're concerned about how fermented some of your dish might be, this is an ideal and gentle introduction to kimchi, from people who want to see you come back again to share food with friends in a uniquely Korean way.

Fantastically authentic. Food, atmosphere and drinks were a joy to behold. If Korean food is your bag, make a beeline. I noticed this restaurant on the bus and when I saw 'Korean Dining Pub' I thought I had to try it. I love the Izakaya dining of Japan and figured it would be similar. The menu is extensive and slightly overwhelming if you're not well versed in Korean fare. The drinks and soju menu is shockingly and delightfully authentic. The prices are dear but there's such a good selection of imported soju you would be a fool not to indulge. Of the menu items we ordered the Tteokbokki, Korean Fried Chicken, Dumplings and Udon Noodles with Kimchi. The food was without fault. The sweet chilli KFC is undeniably a star, the dumplings were what you would expect, Tteokbokki was tasty and in a delicious broth, the udon noodles were presented generously, tasty and filling. The food is fantastic. Service was very good. The staff were attentive and engaged. They asked us questions, clarified orders and encouraged our choices. The Sweet Chilli KFC, Tteokbokki and Kimchi Udon were all popular dishes we were told. The atmosphere is strong. We visited on a Thursday and were promptly told that the entire second floor was booked out by the Korean Society. The bottom floor has lovely decor and quickly becomes filled with people - Many of the patrons looking for authentic Korean food. If you like, or would like to try, Korean food, this is the best option in Brighton and a wonderful experience. Give it a try.

I am Korean. So I introduced a Korean restaurant to foreign friends and I went to a Korean restaurant tour every weekend. I went to London, Brighton.. a lot, I think SOJU is the most delicious Korean restaurant. Chicken is the same as fried chicken in Korea!! Also, kimchi Udon, kimchi fried rice, kimchi pancake, Bibim dumplings… It's too delicious! In addition, Fish cake soup is the best in winter and rainy day. Bibimbap is also so delicious. There was cold noodles in the summer and it was a delicacy. The staff are so kind. 한식이 그리울때 SOJU 진심 강추합니다👍👍 한국의 맛을 느낄수 있어여. 저는 거의 매주말에 가는거 같아요 ㅋㅋㅋ

Visited last Saturday evening with friends and the food was quite good, kimchi pancake and chicken was very nice served by jasmine who was very helpful and friendly.

Booked a table on their website but wasn’t made aware that we had to specify we wanted the Korean bbq. So after waiting 20 mins to order drinks and food we were told we could do bbq as we hadn’t got the correct table. Slightly annoying as that was the main reason we came here. We ordered the Korean chicken which was great but the pork belly was lacking flavour and was disappointing. Not sure if I’d come back.

Best fried rice I've ever had, get the beef & Kimchi! Sweet n soy fried chicken is such a winner too!

We loved our experience in Soju. It’s one of those rare places that immediately after you walk in you say “I need to go to (Korea)”. It feels like the real deal, small, intimate, with high quality cuisine. Good vegan selection too, and I didn’t get the bbq but it looked incredible.

Delicious and varied food! Highly recommend, very nice vibe and cozy, and lots of Soju flavours to choose from!

Incredible food. I've never eaten so fast in my life. I highly recommend the tteokbokki and udon with kimchi, perfect amount of spice in both and great to warm up on a cold winter day. Plus the staff were extremely friendly and very fast.

Such a fun little place. So different from what I’m used to. Was a great experience from start to finish. The waitress helped explain the dishes and I learned a little about Korean food culture while there.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an exceptional evening. Let's talk about the star of the show - the food. It's not an exaggeration to say that Soju Korean Dining Pub serves some of the most excellent, tasty, and fresh Korean cuisine I've ever had the pleasure of savouring. I had the sweet chilli chicken, spring onion pancake and my partner had the Udon noodles - all of which was an explosion of flavour. The real magic at Soju Korean Dining Pub, however, is not just the food but the impeccable service. The staff are attentive and friendly and talked us through each part of the menu. Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!

Simply cannot recommend this place higher - absolutely joyful experience, delicious range wings and Tteok-bokki, Soju is also super nice and uncommon to find elsewhere. The service was excellent and efficient. Quaint little eating area downstairs and a spacious drinking / dancing area upstairs for a Friday or Saturday evening. A really great little find!

Order beef rice, beef too stuff to eat

The menu was exactly the kind of food seen in Korean dramas and tasted superb. Our server was very helpful, explaining any unknown items and then splitting our bill 6 ways for us so we could all pay separately. The vibe was relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Book your table!

My husband and I had the half and half fried chicken and kimchi fried rice. Food was delicious, came out quickly and was nice sitting at the bar listening to some k-pop. Will be coming back for more.

Overall, the food and taste is good, especially the Bibimbap. Unfortunately, for their prices, the portions are very, very small. Also, sadly, quite tasteless white rice - not something i would expect in an asian restaurant, usually they serve good quality rice.

I usually write a positive reviews. However, this evening was our first time in Soju and it was so disappointing, that I feel it is only fair to mention it. Unwelcoming, hollow vibe the food tasted pre prepared and not even well reheated. Dry chicken and dumplings and I could carry on. The best part were the drinks.

Lovely atmosphere, accommodating with allergies, we really liked this place and will definitely be back. The fried chicken was really good and the stew was one of the best tasting stews I’ve had, it came with such a variety of ingredients.

My new favourite place to eat in Brighton! This is by far the best Korean restaurant I have ever been to. I came twice in one week and anticipate becoming a regular (because its that good!). The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable in the space and the food is incredible (not to mention the delicious soju menu). You should definitely support this Korean pub. I will happily continue spending my money here! You should too. :) I hope Soju remains in Brighton for many years to come. Lovely Gluten free and dairy free options (staff were very helpful and accommodating).

I love this place, one of my favourite spots in Brighton. Favourite for Korean! Bulgogi, Tteok-bokki and fried chicken are my favourite things paired with lots of soju and I can't complain about any of it! However my friend did have the kimchi stew, he didn't enjoy it as it tasted "off" like gone of pork. (Before someone thinks kimchi might not be his pallet, he is Korean! And only moved here a couple of years ago and he's 28!) Maybe just a gone off batch? Will definitely be coming back, again and again!

I would like to share my impression of a wonderful Korean restaurant that I recently visited. It was one of the best Korean cuisine restaurants I have ever been to. From the very beginning, I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant - traditional decor, pleasant music, and attentive staff who greeted me and my friends right away. However, when one of the dishes was too spicy for me, I turned to the waiter, who was very kind and offered to replace my dish with something milder for free. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for such care for customers. Overall, I really enjoyed visiting this restaurant. Delicious food, friendly staff, and an excellent atmosphere make it the perfect place to enjoy Korean cuisine in good company. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves delicious food and good service.

Been traveling Europe for long time and also visited various types of Korean Restaurant. In my opinion, this restaurant is one of the best place. Food, service, and everything else is the BEST. You must definitely visit this place if you are traveling UK.

Great vegan options and amazing cocktails

Food was great, but wouldn't recommend for veggies/vegans or anyone with allergies. Went with a veggie mate, and she was served a soup labelled as veggie, but had a crab stick on the top. When we spoke to the waiter and chef, both thought veggies ate fish, and said that now the crab was out the dish, it was veggie? It also came out that fish sauce was in all their broths, including those labelled as vegan :/ not the end of the world for us, but very problematic for those with allergies. Hopefully they get some better staff training! But the food was really nice, so if your not fussy, I would recommend!

Food is tasty but with same price i could get more in London Quantity is ridiculous
