Nice little pub with a good selection of beer and a garden area

Bar Valentino came on recommendation from another bar in town. We liked the discreet entrance and were able to find a seat once upstairs. They don’t do reservations and it’s a small bar so be prepared to wait if they are full. There were two bartenders, both of whom were ever so miserable. The person behind the bar lacked interest and flare (until a couple of young ladies came in). The person front of house was marching about, clearly not having a great shift. Their negative vibes means we didn’t stay beyond one drink, and a very tasty chorizo and cheese toastie! The cocktail we did have was spot on. A bit pricey compared to others in town but it was a well thought out menu and the cocktail was made well. We will try again another time, perhaps later in the evening.

Como una rápida parada de café mientras exploramos las calles del norte, nos topamos con la cafetería de Joliffe. Como un ávido nerd del café, el blanco plano aquí fue uno de los mejores que he tenido en mucho tiempo! Fácilmente el mejor café que tuve durante la corta estancia de dos noches en Brighton, a un precio muy razonable.

This is our go to place in Brighton, the menu caters to a range of tastes and we have some fussy eaters! Great atmosphere, fab food.

This is a lovely local pub full of character and locals, but friendly ones so that you don't feel awkward. Walking in. The service is fast. The tables are rickety and the garden out the back has heaters that allow you to sit out there even if it's cold. The toilet doors are excellently decorated and make you smile. All in all I would highly recommend this as a waiter pass an evening. The other thing that this place has going for it is large tables and a huge amount of games that can be sat and played through an afternoon.

We booked for Sunday lunch and travelled down from Surrey. The restaurant was virtually empty which made for a rather atmosphere less vibe. It didn’t help that there was a member of staff cleaning the mirror and table legs as we were eating our lunch. The Sunday lunch per se was ok, nothing impressive.

Had a great night here for my sisters Birthday. Great atmosphere, great drinks and lovely staff!

Servicio muy caótico. Las chicas que trabajaban eran muy educadas y agradables, pero no eran capaces de dirigir el lugar por su cuenta. Me sorprendió mucho que no hubiera un adulto a la vista. Olvidaron darnos cubiertos y tuve que seguir pidiendo leche para el té. Había música pop horrible sonando en el fondo que simplemente no hizo nada por la atmósfera. Todo se sentía muy barato presentado y abofeteado. Tristemente era mi cumpleaños de amigas y quería que disfrutara de un té crema tradicional. Lamentablemente, fracasó en tantos puntos. No recomendaría este lugar a nadie y sugeriría que hay mejores lugares para ir. Fue una completa pérdida de dinero y tiempo.

Cobran cargos por servicio no opcional y mienten al respecto - pedí un americano negro y un croissant para tener en y me cobraron £ 9. 24 . Pude ver que un Americano cuesta £ 3. 50 y un croissant cuesta 2 libras. 50 para salir y 5 libras para entrar. Como esto no cuadraba, cuestioné lo que me acusaban. Me han dicho que han añadido el IVA encima de los precios del menú. Nunca recibí el croissant, así que después de mi café solicité un reembolso por el croissant. Me dijeron que solo podían hacerlo en efectivo, y me entregaron 5 libras. Me pregunté si me devolverían el IVA adicional y me dijeron que el IVA estaba incluido en el precio mostrado (se trataba de un empleado diferente que me atendió). Me dijo que me habrían cobrado un cargo adicional del 10% por servicio mientras comía. Lo dejé. Estoy seguro de que es ilegal cobrar el servicio a las personas y no decirles que lo estás haciendo y mentir y decir que es IVA.

We were here for an bottomless brunch. We were seated as soon as we arrived and the servers were very attentive. We enjoyed the food and drink and thought the experience was great.

So cosy! The turkey stuffing panini is delicious and the Winter Punsch is pure festive warmth. Perfect for the chilly season!

Popped in for a cup of tea as it was cold and wet outside. £4.50 is ridiculous for a pot of tea! The teapot had the dirtiest spout I’ve ever seen! Didn’t bother with anything to eat at those prices.

Gran joya a solo 2 minutos de nuestro be&be. Extraño, amable y un ambiente muy frío. Loro en el bar llamado Miss. Coco y el perrito más lindo llamado Sr. Galleta. Excelentes melodías y ubicación perfecta. Volveré aquí de nuevo sin duda

Fui aquí con amigos para un refresco mientras iba de compras. Conseguí una mesa junto a la ventana y era un buen lugar para relajarse y charlar mientras se protege de la lluvia.
