amazing service thank you so much! i came here tonight on a date with my boyfriend. my boyfriend had bought me a bouquet of flowers, and the staff brought me a vase with water to keep my flowers in while we ate, which i thought was so so kind and sweet of them!! when they found out it was my boyfriend birthday they gave him a cute charm to take home. thanks so much for the service today everybody was so kind and amazing!!

I’ve been coming to Fatto for years - since I was a teenager. It is always lovely. At least a decade on, showing my girlfriend, I’ve had yet another great experience thanks in part to the delicious and reasonably priced food, and strong negroni — and also perfect and fast service (by in this case the inimitable Yousuf - lovely man). Do come here - it’s great, and was the first properly good pizza I ever had. Give Yousuf a kiss from me.

Sam was an attentive (but not intrusive) and above all else fun waiter - a great asset to the fatto a Mano team!

With the pineapple promotion i was excited to try i asked for a small accommodation that would not add any steps or inconvenience the place. For allergy and religious reasons i wanted them to take the pork off. And i saw many customers picking it off when their pineapple pizza arrived. However they did not wish to accommodate this as it is a special offer and they talked about how “it adds to the flavor” which seemed unprofessional. I had to pay despite bringing pineapple for them with my friend. The cup i was given had to be replaced as it wasn’t clean. Overall not a good experience and I don’t understand why the promotion cannot be enjoyed by different people who have allergies, can’t eat pork (like jewish and muslim people). I decided on a vegan pizza instead which was whatever. Edit: upon reading some other reviews I have found I am not the only one who experienced this attitude and lack of professionalism and service. It seems to be a common trend among the lower reviews (usually immigrants experiencing some lack of class from the restaurant towards them).

we spoke to the manager to order the food we asked him which pizza we wanted and we said we don’t need the pork on that pizza we wanted he said no we’re not allowed to take anything off the pizza You order has to come like that we were chatting for three minutes, he said my friend this is what it is. You have to eat whatever is on the pizza then we left that was horrible from that shop

Sam was an amazing server and made us feel at home, pizza was lovely and the atmosphere was on point.

the service here made me and others so uncomfortable. We sat down and were waiting for a few other people so asked politely for some more time. The waiter proceeded to say something along the lines of you need to hurry up you only have two hours. We had just got there so being given a time limit felt a bit pushy. We were also never asked how the food was or anything and to be honest it was average. It honestly felt very stuck up and arrogant. Yes people go for the food but manners are needed too.

My partner and I decided to go there and have something after we passed it a few times. It seemed that it is a very nice place and has very good food but unfortunately the guy in front of the door that arrange sittings had a very rude attitude… We waited in the queue for about 20 minutes in the cold. Meanwhile, the host let people behind us in, making random excuses, even though they didn’t have a booking. When it was finally our turn, they showed us to a table that had been empty the entire time—basically near the exit and outside the restaurant. It was clear that this behavior was pure racism, even though the host themselves was an immigrant from Asia. I feel sorry for them and for the restaurant’s management for hiring someone so disrespectful. I complained to the management, but it seems customer satisfaction isn’t a priority for them at all.

Quite disappointed with our experience, sat right by the door and asked to move. Then moved to the centre of the restraint practically down the stairs when we asked to move to a new table snarky comments made at us. Food was good nothing incredible. Disappointed.

Recommended by a friend who is family with the owner and this place didn’t disappoint!! I LOVE great pizza, and honestly, this was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. The base itself was so tasty and the toppings were super fresh and top quality. Best of all though, the crust, was actually better than the rest of the pizza! Such amazing texture! My boy is also a massive pizza lover and claims it also to be the best pizza he’s ever had! We were made really welcome by all the team, in particular Joao who served us and was excellent with our 7 and 5 year olds. We were lucky enough to win a Christmas advent gift card and honestly, I cannot wait to go back!! Thanks for making this such a special family meal for us! Would also comment that this was great value for this top quality product and service, which is great to see that some places still believe in not fleecing customers for a middle of the road product/service!

Fatto al Mano is always great but today it was particularly good. We ordered a red pizza with ham and truffle, amazing combination especially with a rocket salad. Sam our server was so welcoming, professional and as always at Fatto’s service was seamless.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Menu choices are limited to pizzas and the sides, but made up for by the range available and the quality of food! It’s all reasonably priced, dough tastes fantastic and the toppings are generous. Would definitely recommend and return!

I ordered the Norma and was very impressed by the amount of toppings and array of flavours my pizza had. Aubergine on pizza, who knew that this would taste delightful? As well as a combination of strong and creamy cheeses, layered upon the all-important tomato base, which was beautifully thin and crispy. I even made room for dessert. A classic tiramisu, oozing with creaminess, chocolate, coffee and soft sponge, homemade, and a perfect ending to a delicious meal. On top of all this, it was also reasonably priced, which is so often not the case. Thank you so much 💛

We found this lovely Italian restaurant at lunch time today and stopped for food. We were greeted with a smile and, although it was very busy when we arrived, the service was excellent. Our party consisted of my husband and I and our daughter who is a student in Brighton and we were all made very welcome. There was no rush, but equally our waiter was very attentive, chatty and generally delightful. The food was fab - very fresh, hot and quickly served. We shall definitely be going back when we next visit and would be very happy to be served by the effervescent Sam again. Thanks for a great welcome to Brighton, guys!

Let’s be real fatto is just my favourite. Had the pleasure to be served by vandana, India and josef they all we just so lovely anf even got to say hello to the chefs. I got the vegan Nduja which I was unsure about but it was superb . Thanks guys and loved the recommendations

I just want to say I rarely write reviews but as someone who has worked in bars and restaurants for many years, I am still thinking about this bad service the next day… The food and drink was great but the server who may have been a manager was very unaccommodating. Our friends had 2 vouchers which expired the next day and they wouldn’t let them apply both to their bill which is fine so we asked to split our bills so we could use one ourselves to not let them go to waste and she said she couldn’t do that because we know each other (?) I calmly asked if she could just move us to another table to we can use them as they expire and she started yelling at me and said she’d bring me the bill and we can sort it out ourselves because she’s not risking her career for us (?) It was all very dramatic. I asked the server who came to cash us out (we only ended up using one voucher, the second one will go to waste) and he said he could have moved us to another table so we could use it but she told him no. I don’t think we will visit this spot again purely because of the bad service… food is always nice and we’ve been here many times before.

Banging food and banging service. Went to Naples last year, didn’t have a pizza better than this.

Pizza isn’t my favorite food but the pizza I had here was absolutely delicious. It was the best pizza I’ve ever had And the only place I would ever think about going for a pizza! No others come close. Our meal came to £90 for 3 people which included four glasses of wine and a soft drink.

The pizza is good, and the service is polite, quick, and efficient, so I’d give 4/5 stars for that. However, when booking via OpenTable, note that there’s a stated time limit of 1.5 hours for parties of up to 4, 1.75 hours for up to 6, and 2 hours for parties of 7+. I was fine with this since I knew about it beforehand. What I wasn’t okay with, and why I’m giving 2 stars overall, is that despite being a party of 8, we were told mid-dinner that there was another booking 1.5 hours after ours. I could have accepted that, even though it was less time than stated. But around the 1-hour mark, staff started clearing plates as soon as someone finished and repeatedly asked if we were done, pushing us to box up our leftovers. After rushing us through the meal, they amusingly asked if we wanted dessert—to be eaten in about 5 minutes, I suppose. If you’re looking for a quick bite of tasty pizza and don’t mind spending around £30 per person, this place will do. For a leisurely dinner, unless they change their policy, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

Had lunch here with colleagues. We all had Pizza and everyone really enjoyed them. I had the Italian Ham and Gorgonzola which was great, could have done with a little more Gorgonzola for my cheese loving tastes, but it was really good. Staff very friendly and service was great. Recommended

A very good pizza at, what looks like, a very authentic venue. Made even better when sitting outside on a sunny day - you feel like you're somewhere far more continental than the UK. To be consistent with my values and other reviews, and for all the reasons explained in previous reviews (price transparency, tipping culture, fair floor staff wages), must be capped at 4-stars for adding service charge to the bill. Shame.
