Had a fabulous and delicious dinner at Fattos last night! Huge shoutout to Sam for being wonderful and taking care of us!

Such a great pizza place. Gluten free options are amazing as well. Really decent gluten free pizza base. Good atmosphere and nice to be in the Laines of Brighton. Our server Sam was very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

We had a lovely time celebrating our friends 18th, the pizza was fab!!! And the vibes were perfect, all thanks to our faboulous server Sam!!!!! He expertly handled a group of 20 rowdy teenagers and all their specific orders.

Guys, listen to me, Sam was literally the best waiter in the whole world. We had a party of 20 teenagers and every single order was right !!! The perfect waiter for our night. Would give 6/5 stars if I could!! Smashing lad !

We found this lovely Italian restaurant at lunch time today and stopped for food. We were greeted with a smile and, although it was very busy when we arrived, the service was excellent. Our party consisted of my husband and I and our daughter who is a student in Brighton and we were all made very welcome. There was no rush, but equally our waiter was very attentive, chatty and generally delightful. The food was fab - very fresh, hot and quickly served. We shall definitely be going back when we next visit and would be very happy to be served by the effervescent Sam again. Thanks for a great welcome to Brighton, guys!

Let’s be real fatto is just my favourite. Had the pleasure to be served by vandana, India and josef they all we just so lovely anf even got to say hello to the chefs. I got the vegan Nduja which I was unsure about but it was superb . Thanks guys and loved the recommendations

I just want to say I rarely write reviews but as someone who has worked in bars and restaurants for many years, I am still thinking about this bad service the next day… The food and drink was great but the server who may have been a manager was very unaccommodating. Our friends had 2 vouchers which expired the next day and they wouldn’t let them apply both to their bill which is fine so we asked to split our bills so we could use one ourselves to not let them go to waste and she said she couldn’t do that because we know each other (?) I calmly asked if she could just move us to another table to we can use them as they expire and she started yelling at me and said she’d bring me the bill and we can sort it out ourselves because she’s not risking her career for us (?) It was all very dramatic. I asked the server who came to cash us out (we only ended up using one voucher, the second one will go to waste) and he said he could have moved us to another table so we could use it but she told him no. I don’t think we will visit this spot again purely because of the bad service… food is always nice and we’ve been here many times before.

Banging food and banging service. Went to Naples last year, didn’t have a pizza better than this.

Pizza isn’t my favorite food but the pizza I had here was absolutely delicious. It was the best pizza I’ve ever had And the only place I would ever think about going for a pizza! No others come close. Our meal came to £90 for 3 people which included four glasses of wine and a soft drink.

The pizza is good, and the service is polite, quick, and efficient, so I’d give 4/5 stars for that. However, when booking via OpenTable, note that there’s a stated time limit of 1.5 hours for parties of up to 4, 1.75 hours for up to 6, and 2 hours for parties of 7+. I was fine with this since I knew about it beforehand. What I wasn’t okay with, and why I’m giving 2 stars overall, is that despite being a party of 8, we were told mid-dinner that there was another booking 1.5 hours after ours. I could have accepted that, even though it was less time than stated. But around the 1-hour mark, staff started clearing plates as soon as someone finished and repeatedly asked if we were done, pushing us to box up our leftovers. After rushing us through the meal, they amusingly asked if we wanted dessert—to be eaten in about 5 minutes, I suppose. If you’re looking for a quick bite of tasty pizza and don’t mind spending around £30 per person, this place will do. For a leisurely dinner, unless they change their policy, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

Had lunch here with colleagues. We all had Pizza and everyone really enjoyed them. I had the Italian Ham and Gorgonzola which was great, could have done with a little more Gorgonzola for my cheese loving tastes, but it was really good. Staff very friendly and service was great. Recommended

A very good pizza at, what looks like, a very authentic venue. Made even better when sitting outside on a sunny day - you feel like you're somewhere far more continental than the UK. To be consistent with my values and other reviews, and for all the reasons explained in previous reviews (price transparency, tipping culture, fair floor staff wages), must be capped at 4-stars for adding service charge to the bill. Shame.

Fantastic Pizza, my partners gluten-free base pizza, was the best she has ever tasted. Everything was fresh, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. We ate there twice and it was great on both occasions.

We got there late only an hour before close but the staff were happy to accommodate us! My friend is coeliac but they were very professional with the allergy and we all agreed it was one of the best pizzas we’ve had in our lives! Love love love 😋🍕

Take two 🎬 Thanks to Ida's generosity and exceptional customer service, I made another visit to the location in the North Laines. Everything was perfect despite the hectic crowds of the bank holiday. The pizza was wonderful. No faults whatsoever. I'll be back as a regular again.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice. While the food was enjoyable, the overall experience left much to be desired. The first time, I dined outside, but the uneven ground made the table and chairs rock throughout the meal, which was quite uncomfortable. The second visit, despite many free tables in the other room, we were seated right in front of the entrance, which wasn’t ideal. The toilets were not well-maintained and were quite dirty, which further detracted from the experience. Another downside is that tipping was mandatory, which I didn’t appreciate. Overall, while the food was good, the dining experience could use improvement.

Guys, I think you have nearly nailed it. The pizza will rival most in Napoli. However, I reckon you’re 5% or so away from perfecting the base and pasata. I think you need to order a dozen or so pizzas in Napoli as research, and then bring back the findings for that final 5% to be the best ever pizza ever.

I have an Italian family from Napoli and spent most of my childhood there, this was the most authentic pizza and experience I've had since being in Italy. It's perfect

Really great pizzas, fresh, hot, and bursting with flavours. I went on a Sunday evening at 7pm and it was heaving with customers, with a rowdy vibe. Good choice of different ingredients and funky sides. I found the stools pretty uncomfortable and wouldn't want to stay longer than 30 minutes. Service was also kind of all over the place with lots of different people serving you so little requests and changes were wrong. All tiny mistakes that aren't really a problem but could be fixed by (a) turning the music down and (b) keeping the same wait staff for your table. Would definitely go again but maybe for takeaway.

This fabulous pizza places is located in a nice neighborhood in Hove. The pizzas are made in traditional style of Naples and they are delicious.

Very helpful staff even though some of our party were late, no hassle. Food was lovely, hot and quickly served. Good value for money including the wine.

Came here a few months ago with a friend, we are both vegetarian and were given conflicting information about whether the cheese used in the pizzas were vegetarian (the owner said they were, another member of staff said they weren't) so we settled for the vegan options which were okay.

My favourite lunch venue… I always lunch here when in Brighton. Pizza and fries are perfect to share and add a carafe of wine and it’s the perfect lunch.. Pizzas are light and tasty made with fresh ingredients. Be prepared to queue on busy days but it’s worth the wait..

Pizza arrived after just 10 minutes and was unfortunately cold and not baked through. The mozzarella wasn't melted and the dough was soggy...what a shame!

The best pizza ever. I'm obsessed with this place, the pizza dough is amazing. I also love the dips. I just wish they did a Vegan dessert, I recall seeing 1 option like Sorbet which you don't want to eat if you're Vegan, it's a cop out and no effort.

The place is beautiful, with outdoor and indoor seating, and on Fridays it is crowded with tourists. They serve very delicious Italian pizza, and they provide excellent service. All the team, thank you.

But having eaten here many times, it has never been any less than a 100/5 - Fatto a Mano is a lovely, welcoming place with gorgeous food and very reasonable prices! Since Baby is only drinking milk at the moment, I think her opinion should be disregarded 😂💛

Whenever we walked along this place, it’s always busy. We were curious, so we had the chance to give it a go this afternoon. Pizzas we ordered were ok. Pricey! Very limited toppings. And the staffs, most especially the woman was rude being rude towards me. I asked a question…but she was just looking at me like I don’t know?! A Racist?! I told my partner I’m not comfortable we should just leave, but he said let’s just try. I’m not sure if I have to eat my pizza quickly because she’s always looking at our table… (like hurry up!) beforehand they should have told us that they are closing in so and so… Come on, we eat to enjoy not just for the sake of dining in and eat and go, it’s not that we are eating for free, we are paying customer and we deserve to enjoy! Just saying. I’m not happy at all! Very rude!

Had a really lovely meal here. We were a group of 6, 4 adults a newborn and a 2 year and were made to feel very welcome. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating and they have some colouring for little ones to keep them entertained. Our friends little one had some food allergies which needed to be accounted for and that was no problem at all they got the order spot on. Lovely food and atmosphere. Will be returning.

Great pizza, nice atmosphere. There is a new menu but they've added options rather than changed (apart from no limonata which I was a bit annoyed about as it was a hot day & fizzy orange doesn't quite quench thirst as well!)

First time here, definitely came for the wrong food. Should have had pizza which I'm sure is fantastic, but instead we all cesar salad which were nice but definitely not a classic cesar salad. They were not what we were expecting, but they still tasted pretty good and they had very reasonable prices. The rosemary chips were great though. Service was pretty good, we were sat immediately but they didn't bring out the drinks for two of our party until after we had our food. Food came fast however and they were very accommodating when we split the bill in a really weird way. Would definitely go back, but wouldn't order the cesar salad again!

Great on a bustling summer night. Love the pizzas from these guys, they never disappoint. Both North Laines and the Hove restaurant are good.

It was an okay experience the fries were cold. The pizzas were delicious but the service was awful. Was never checked back on, when paying didn’t bother to ask us if it was okay not even a “have a good evening.”

Our waiter Joe, was very nice and polite, the pizza was lovely, as well as the calzone Fritto and the parmigiana. The team in the kitchen looked very focused at all time and very professional and clean. If you love Napolitan pizza, this is surely a must.

Favourite pizza place in all Brighton! Both the branches are equally good in terms of food (not surprising!), efficient service and great ambience. Always full of people enjoying their large pizzas with a good selection of drinks. The pizzas across the wide variety on the menus are always awesome and they can customise a bit on request to your liking. Location in the Lanes is superb. Toilets are clean.

Great pizzas here - thin but firm with generous topping. My spritz cocktail was very good too. Best of all, the staff were funny, friendly and attentive. A much better experience than Franco Manca and others nearby, imho. 👍
