Great value Breakfast clean and well presented

Popped in on my morning walk and was greeted by a giant smile from the gentleman behind the bar. The breakfast I got was the number 2, amazingly well cooked, super hot and quick. Great value for money and a lovely spot! Wish I’d found it sooner.

Very reasonable and good tasting. No table ordering.

Had a small breakfast and a cup of tea. Not cheap. So i expect a decent quality food. Bacon was dry and broke up as soon as you touched it. Egg was poached poorly. Sausage was low quality. Will not be going back. Sorry.

Great location, breakfasts are excellent and great value. We regularly visit. Parking can be tricky due to the council's ridiculous parking permit zones that dont make it easy for local businesses but this doesn't prevent us from going and supporting local. Wait times for food is minimal and always cooked to a great standard. One of our firm favourites.

Stylish cafe with lots of food to pick from. It has a good atmosphere plus staffs were really friendly. Will come back for a good breakfast. The prices weren’t expensive either. Top choice to go for breakfast in Hove.

Went on my birthday thought it was worth a try. Wasn't that busy. Sadly food was a massive let down. You pay at till before food comes. Sadly they would rather rush the order then work on quality. I found a big tunck of washing green sponge in my bubble and squick when I showed and mentioned it to the waitress they offered no money back or anything just say 'OH' And we left Sadly we will never return

Really great cafe. Wanted to get up early for a big breakfast and this place was well priced and open at 0700 on a Sunday! Gave it a try and was very happy with my experience. Big breakfast, big coffee and all under £10, in fact I got 50p change. Would defo recommend.

Food was not for me personally but if you like a transport cafe type fry up you will love it . If you want fresh, locally sourced produce and sourdough, this is NOT the place . What they do is a good size no frills old fashioned style full English and they do it well . The menu is big and lots of choice and they seem to be busy .

Such a busy little cafe but the reason is the excellent food and service.

One of the "must do's" of Brighton, the food and service hit the spot every time. The variations on full English breakfast are served quickly to order and use top quality ingredients. Other meals include great quality burgers, lamb chops, and liver in thick onion gravy, nobody does it better! Staff are welcoming and proud to present meals and drinks in an appealing way. Add in interesting decor and plentiful free street parking and it's unbeatable for a meaty all-day breakfast or lunch.

A great find because I love these independent breakfast places. The venue was very different covers in various memorabilia. Long wooden tables and wifi near the sea. A warmer welcome would be my only supporting help for this venue to help them to increase custom.

When coming here, we usually get breakfast, which is fab. We came later so ordered from the lunch section. It wasn't as nice as expected, we would go back but only for breakfast, not other items.

Great for your basic traditional English breakfast, plenty of variations on a theme. Good value for money. Just occasionally there may be a delay.

We were in the area BH Monday and thought we’d have a late breakfast. Found this place, which was really busy. Good choice on breakfast menu, as well as burgers and sandwiches. Most choices were £6.99 which is very good value as you get a lot of food, all cooked very well and service was quick considering they were busy. Look forward to a return visit.

Found this place by chance, out for a ride on my motorcycle,I had a full English breakfast and coffee for just under a tenner . Really enjoyed it ,great breakfast, good value quick service. Will definitely come back again when I’m in the area

The breakfast looked absolutely amazing. Using hindsite, it should have been what I ordered. Instead, I went for a quarterpounder cheeseburger with chips. If we are now defining a burger as bread, meat, bread then by all accounts this was a burger. But no salad AND no sauce within its wheaty confines resulted in something that it was a sad thing to look at. Think, brutalism architecture meets human food. To be fair, a waitress did bring out some salad after I requested a little to put in my food to make it a more complete affair, although I did find myself mixing up my own burger sauce with ketchup, mayo and mustard on the table. It's incredible how a 4 pound burger could look like a total waste of money with no salad and then look almost like a bit of a bargain with some lettuce and tomatoes thrown in (hint hint). My colleague had ordered himself. A chicken burger which made me extremely grateful for the slice of cheese that I got in mine. (Video attached). Staff overall were lovely and very helpful. Although I did pop in the day after to get a drink and saw one of the ladies behind the bar sneeze into whatever she was doing before sneezing again (this time off to the side) where I definitely saw a spray of some kind. I walked out before she turned around to take my order so hopefully she didn't know I was there. Never got to meet Tiffany. 3/5 stars.

Nice cafe, but cheap produce and cheap tomatoe sauce.

Above cafe in Brighton and a new fave. Left full up after breakfast and so impressed with the service, menu, prices, decor, friendliness of the staff, speed of food, and the restaurant/ cafe has a lovely feel and is very much a ode to the era and times of old without being too intense. Will deffo be revisiting

I wasn't sure wat to expect here I am used to old style transport cafes Tiffany's while still serving the food I know manages to put a more upmarket, almost touristy twist on it. There is plenty of art and novlty around that seems to creat an intresting pleasant environment. I will certenly return for another breakfast if only to see how many more diferent table designs I can spot.

This was a birthday celebration! VERY DISAPPOINTING VERY… it was like a hole in the shopping area, the restaurant was not all that impressive as u would expect!!; as far as birthday… they gave a little card wishing HB….i went there as well fit the dessert which on website showed a little mini cake like a blue box … they don’t do that anymore!!!!!! But it was on web site!!! Then I got pickpocketed right outside restaurant!

The breakfasts here are good value for money and very filling. The service was fast. It's nothing fancy, though, just a variety of traditional 'greasy spoon' type full English breakfast options. I would have given it 4 stars, but the place had a weird ambience. Really strange decor and one of the staff seemed to be really offish with us for no reason. I'm not sure if I'd go back because of this. It wasn't the friendliest of places.

Simply, it's the best breakfast in town

On arriving the place was busy and a good first impression. How looks can be deceiving! The counter assistant was unfriendly and uninterested. We paid in advance for our choices...a full English and cheese and mushrooms on toast with bacon and sausage on side. And a side of bubble and squeak.My partner didn't want mushrooms or beans but when told there was a charge an extra £1.20 for a sausage in exchange. So he opted for tomatoes. Sat down on the bench style seating. Which had collapsed under the cushion. So had to change seats. The full English arrived in minutes followed by the other order 10mins after. It was all so grim...tinned tomatoes, the most horrible cheap excuse for a sausage, and precooked deep fried bacon, swimming in grease. The bubble and squeak was literally mash potatoes with a couple of peas in it, the cheese on the toast, like rubber, my bacon so bad I sent it back, but the replacement was no better. The sausage, so awful I had to spit it out Under cooked soggy chips. The waitress had the audacity to tell me bacon was freshly gilled to order Complaint for a third time was pointless, or trying to get a refund from hostile staff, so left without eating anything apart from the eggs! Went to Cafe Mon for a decent breakfast

Big old fry-up, less than 8 quid, they sell Rio cans to soothe any level of hangover I've experienced (so far) and they ask the big questions, like "chips or bubble & squeak?" The answer my friends is up to you...

Visited here a shortly while when visiting the area, having not been in for a couple of years. Still the same, this is a hidden gem, what a place. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and great food and really good prices. Can’t speak highly enough of it. For me, best Bacon sandwich on the south coast. Spot on.

Went for our now traditional Christmas Eve breakfast. Absolutely fantastic.Faultless in every way, I have friends who sneer at the quality of the food, and that's their opinion. Everybody else is delighted with the plateful. My idea of a top class breakfast.❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

Best value cafe in the area, massive plate of food for £6.99, they are also happy to swap items around, I like fried bread instead of toast, never a problem. Service is always very quick too. The only criticism I have is I'd prefer a Lincolnshire sausage rather than the plain one.

Excellent prices, huge portions, great service and proper "greasy spoon" food in the best way, totally devoid of pretense but nice cosey vibe. The fried bread was very good (why does nowhere serve this anymore!). Recommended.

A class brekkie, nice atmosphere,frankly 20% cheaper than everywhere else but 20% better. This business needs to visit other cafes… far too cheap. Excellent in every way. OWNERS: please do your homework I’m paying £10-15 for a fry up everywhere else locally…but your fry up is bigger!

Food was mediocre as was service and atmosphere

We popped in here for a quick lunch on Monday. It wasn't overly busy but there seemed to be a steady stream of customers. The menu consisted of standard cafe options (the actual menus could do with replacing tbh, mine was tatty and a bit grubby). I chose a jacket potato with coleslaw and husband selected gammon, egg and chips. The gammon was way overcooked, the egg was hard, and they had no coleslaw so had tuna instead. Can only rate the food as average at best based on our experience on the day. For drinks we both had a San Miguel £3.50 for 330ml bottle. Service was friendly. I've awarded the third star for the reasonable prices, individuality of the decor and the fact it's an independent business. Not sure if there is parking right outside as it's located on a busy road. We had parked just down the road, past the pub that was closed, which is how we ended up here. Husband's verdict was he wouldn't rush back, but I would give it another try if I was in the area.

This is a little gem! The food is really great value for what you pay for. It is sliced bread, regular cheese and not artisan. Have had breakfast a few times and so has family and friends staying at the Gather Inn across the road. Service very fast and friendly. Eggs, bacon etc cooked perfectly. Really nice atmosphere and room both inside and outside makes it feel so much more special. Toilets super clean. I had to deduct one star for PG tips only. A regular English breakfast tea would be good (I know it is a caf so would not expect to have a huge selection). Good selection of herbal teas. Very child friendly and calm place for every one.

Excellent hollywood themed cafe on Hove seafront. Free parking opposite. Plenty of tables outside. Great food and great value. Service is always good. We each had the big breakfast @ £6.99.
