Best hot donuts ever. This is my favourite place to have donuts in Brighton. I wanted to tag them on Facebook but couldn't..

We've been coming to Brighton for years...and for some reason, we only just tried this place on our most recent visit. The food and coffee are lovely, we can recommend the bacon roll, it's delicious. The best thing about this place of course is the views while you enjoy your food and drink. We'll definitely be visiting the beach hut on our next visits.

I spent my two days in Brighton and couldn’t stop myself eating from Beach Hut. Highly recommend tost and coffees but definitely recommend amazing cinnamon cozy doughnuts together with espresso milkshakes. Also huge congrats on staff for great service. I tried the other cafes along the beach but The beach hut cafe is the best definitely recommend for little breakfast, to go coffee walks and doughnuts that will make you addicted!! :)

The Beach Hut is an absolute gem by the beach, right near Brighton Pier. I tried their toasted sandwiches, donuts, and an espresso milkshake, and I have to say, the donuts and espresso milkshake are hands down the best in town! I've never tasted anything even remotely close – the donuts are perfectly soft and fresh, and the espresso milkshake is rich, creamy, and has the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. A must-try if you're in the area! The café has a chill, beachside vibe, and the staff are super friendly. If you're near Brighton Pier, don't miss out on this spot!

But hello, you shouldn't be guided by prejudices. We usually avoid stores like this that are right next to a city's main attractions. But by a coincidence of timing, nothing else was possible and we tried the espresso. Portafilter and apparently operated correctly. The espresso is an absolute recommendation. And the view is fantastic.

The gentlemen in the front was very nice in letting us order when they were just about to close the shop. The milkshake was the best milkshake I’ve ever had in a long time and would likely see myself buying from here instead of the other stores

The dodeot is really delicious. It’s the best donut I’ve ever had. It seems like it's made right when you order it. It's warm, crispy, and just needs no words. The tuna sandwich is also recommended and delicious!!!!!!! + Very kind👍🏻👍🏻

I got 4 donuts that were lovely but just wanted to mention that they do toasties and sandwiches with vegan cheese 😁😁

Best spot for donuts by the water, cheaper than those by the pier and super tasty, you can see them being made and they’re the real deal. Staff were absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful and made sure we had a great time.

I live in Brighton and nearly every day I go for a walk and visit the coffee hut. I love just sitting there with a lovely latte and chill and watch all that's going on. Been coming here for years and the staff are so friendly. Harry and Ozzy make sure I'm ok. It's my wind down part of the day and they make the best coffee/donuts and ice cream. Would dearly miss it if it wasn't here. Thanks to all the staff.

Great doughnuts, fresh, soft and tasty, but I've been coming here for years and the other week I am pretty sure the size of the doughnuts have been reduced.

Always drinking tea here, have been familiar with the guys running it for ever. Always friendly and find time to chat. Fantastic prime position overlooking the beach.

Absolutely great coffee, but nippy , but it is January. One of the servers was a little … shall we say grumpy , but I’m sure there is a good reason on for this . Maybe she smiles only when it’s sunny .

I have visited the Beach Hut Cafe twice this month with my daughter and granson, all because of their lovely made crispy Doughnuts they are really, really tasty, and they also serve lovely coffee. The staff were really lovely people. Thank you. We will visit again soon. Thank you.

Always quick service and tasty snacks and doughnuts. There’s usually a canopy to shelter under if there’s a shower but unfortunately the other day this got forgotten so didn’t bother stopping for my regular coffee. This and being greeted by ‘yep’ from the young lad serving today is the reason I have knocked off one star from my review.

Their soft serve ice cream is really good but most importantly, the staff saw a seagull swoop my cone from me, so they came out and gave me a new one without even asking along with a paper plate as a shield to protect my ice cream! Super sweet of them!

Only had a stop off for a bite to eat and a sit down. Managed a lovely spot around the back of the hut which has a lovely view of the sea and pier. Great for a breather and a snack

Excellent, cosy location, easily accessible, just by the road side. I have just had one of the best donuts today at this cafe. The ones with the salted caramel was the best. I also had mouthwatering tuna with mayo sandwich and bacon n cheese toast.

Love this little cafe. Always order 2 fresh doughnuts, which are warm and delicious, and a coffee and I sit in the nook at the back, staring out to sea, aquiring many pigeon friends, of course. Don't let that put you off, they go away if you ignore them! The service is always super friendly, smiley and relaxed. I first came here because The Pier no longer serves just 1 or 2 doughnuts, you have to buy 5, so for solo guzzlers, The Beach Hut is perfect. Came here for friends bday meal , there was around 12 of us. It was very busy. All ordered mixture of food, roasts, fish and chips, Shepard’s pie etc. The service was chaotic , a drinks order took very long to arrive as did some extra cheese. One of the waitresses was excellent seemed to be the only one who knew what she was doing. The other staff forgot stuff when asked . Asked for some cheese three times . Finally asked the good waitress who sorted it. Understand it was busy but service needs improving . Food was tasty and large portions

The bacon roll was ok, but the bacon has been pre-cooked so luke warm when added to the roll. Meal deal at £3.79 with coffee. Ketchup or other condiments an extra 29p - really surely it could be included in the main price.

Dont go there the young female emplyee was incredibly rude to me 2ce in one day. She had more attitude than anyone who. should be working in a cafe. She shouldn't work with people find another job . Been using cafes on Brighton beach for 40 yearned this is the rudest any one has been ever.

Waited over 20 mins for doughnuts, after they gave our order to someone else. As 10 mins passed I went to speak to rude teenagers that work there to see if what was happening. The blonde boy was the most rudest and lied and then said we didn’t give your order to someone else even though I heard a girl say ‘ oh look, just received free doughnut. After going up to the stand 3 times we finally got our order, the doughnuts were dry and burnt. Avoid!!

Café expresso au goût épouvantable

So disappointed. Ordered and paid for 2 doughnuts and was told to take a seat and given our order number. We were waiting for 15 minutes before we went to queue and see what was taking so long. A further 10 minutes later, after being ignored and observing someone with a larger doughnut order who’d ordered after us being served, I decided I didn’t want the doughnuts anymore. 25 minutes for 2 doughnuts is more time than I’ve had to wait for a main course in a restaurant! We went back to the front and said we had to go and asked for a our money back. At this point we were told they were just coming and were promptly handed the bag. I said it was too late and I just wanted my money back, they politely refunded me and we left. Such a shame that what looked like 3 very young adults are unable to manage a fairly average Wednesday with customers.

I had the best doughnut of my life here two years ago, freshly made and warm and covered in granulated sugar. I've been living in Brighton again recently and will definitely come back.

So glad we found this place . Sat on roof overlooking the sea. Only had a coffee and my friend had a lager. Great coffee. So friendly and happy workers here. The young guy in the orange jkt was a great laugh and nice and friendly. Will return.

If we could give you NO stars, we would. Young lady took my order for 2 x doughnuts, there was one other bloke waiting... within 5 minutes there was a few other groups/orders... must have been stood waiting a GOOD 25-30 minutes (and I think I'm being kind there) and at least 3 of the other orders went out before our measly 2 doughnuts! And one of them came after with an order of 12 doughnuts. Er... same product! The young lady seemed like I'd slapped her puppy when I asked for my money back. While we waited we had enough time to watch her keep picking in the chip containers eating and not washing her hands, GROSS. Was our order too small for you?? Humpf! Your doughnuts weren't even very nice. Heavy and claggy, way too much sugar, old tasting oil... not worth the wait!

This is the best place for coffee on Brighton Seafront.

Paid £3.90 for "large chips". They were awful - very bad ratio of actual fluffy chip to skanky crispy crunchy nasty little things - and I've no idea how they can get away with calling them large. I strongly recommend you keep on walking and get your chips from Harry Ramsdens or Pizza King (I was obviously still hungry after sharing this naff effort at "chips on the beach" with my daughter).

We ordered two donuts with Nutella they were so good , tasty and still warm . Couldn’t resist to have ice cream with it ;)

This place is amazing! At my first visit I had a coffee and it was marvelous. Way better than starbucks and costa. Then I came for food which I got a beef burger and chips. Great combo plus the beef was good quality. Furthermore, whats better than enjoying a fabulous view? Well Beach Hut has got that too. Also had a chat with the workers and they were quite so welcoming. Guess what, now I’m a regular customer.

The place is the best on the seafront. The owners and staff always smiling and welcome you on every visit. With affordable prices and fresh drinks and snacks is worth a visit.

Cute little beach cafe, with a decent sized outdoor seating area and a lovely view of the pier. We had doughnuts, which were priced at a point where we thought they would be tiny ones but turned out to be full-sized ones! They were quite nice and freshly made of course. Very quaint little place and nicer than the places on the pier; will certainly return.

Both my friend and I had “chips with cheese” from here. They were tasty, however, we’ve got stomachache afterwards. I think the oil wasn’t good...
