The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Brighton and Hove South East

This was our local for several years, and overall it's a lovely place. Wonderful vibes and great food, perfect for the area. However, the service recently has been awful — there's one female staff member (prominent chest tattoo) who is consistently miserable and drags the experience down, to the point where it's a running joke in our family. She makes us dread having to order as she’s quite rude and short in her replies. A shame that the staff can drag down an otherwise great place

They have a machine right next to the payment till and if you tap there by mistake you I willingly give a £1.1 tip!! No questions asked. There is a little not that says not a payment method but if you are with children and distracted you don’t notice. Total rip off on top of very expensive stuff .

Staff were great but the owner was very condescending and honestly seemed pretty pissed(idk if he was drunk pissed or just angry for no reason) which completely brought down the whole mood of the place..and don't get me started on how he spoke to his staff😬 would love to recommend going because as I say the staff were fantastic, but I can't recommend supporting such a vile business owner

Beautiful bar, for food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere great staff. Will visit again.

I live in hope that one day this place will actually have sausage rolls when I visit! I prepare myself for disappointment but never truly handle the situation well! 6 times lately we have headed to this bakers , different days different times, salivating at the thought of probably the best sausage roll I’ve ever eaten but then the utter let down when the shelves are empty again!! Please cook more sausage rolls and less of the other posh stuff!

Fui aquí con amigos para un refresco mientras iba de compras. Conseguí una mesa junto a la ventana y era un buen lugar para relajarse y charlar mientras se protege de la lluvia.

Went into Small Batch, Hove Station at 4.20 pm yesterday. I ordered a coffee as a dine-in customer. Was told that I would have to use a take away cup as they would be closing soon. I left but not before telling the cashier that I would have drunk my coffee within 10 minutes. Small Batch website indicates that they close at 5.00 pm. BTW there were no other customers. Anyway, I went down the road and gave another coffee shop my business.

Regularly buy our bread from here, it sells some of the best in town. Wonderful quiches and pastries too. Very friendly staff.

We visited as a family, friendly staff and great service. The environmental impact of this place is concerning, all plastic cups and was told I couldn’t use a glass. No facilities to recycle so had to take the cups home with us. Really shocking given the current climate situation. Pictures all over front of shop promoting plastic cups. Please do better! Will not be returning until the policy on this changes.

I decided to have a walk over to Mayberry and give the breakfast a try. I was really impressed with the food. A warm welcome from a great staff team and perfectly cooked breakfast and a coffee all for under £10. I was there at 8.30 and I wasn’t the only customer into the door when they opened for a breakfast. Free parking and a nice relaxing atmosphere, if you are looking for a change from busy Brighton and the prices of Brighton and Hove. I can honestly say it was all cooked perfectly and served with a smile. Highly recommended!

100/100 it was that good I went back two days in a row. They make everything from scratch. My choice was cream cheese and salmon. Outside of the states this is the best bagel shop I’ve ever come across!

Walking through Kemptown we stumbled across this place. Is very small but has a much needed and appreciated outside area. The barman was lovely & sitting there watching the world walk by in the sun enjoying cold alcoholic beverages was gorgeous.
