Bagelman - Brighton Train Station in Brighton and Hove

100/100 it was that good I went back two days in a row. They make everything from scratch. My choice was cream cheese and salmon. Outside of the states this is the best bagel shop I’ve ever come across!

Seemed quite a busy place when I was in, I had a gorgeous squidgy brownie, super fresh and a CBA(chicken, bacon and avocado) which got heated, kept warm for quite a while, loved it, the staff were super helpful and engaging which I liked too

Awesome food with a great choice of fillings for your bagel. Plenty of different bagels and brilliant service.

Wanted something light before the train journey and was really surprised to see the variety of vegan options available in this little eatery in the station. They have different types of vegan cheese, seitan and even a vegan BLT. Shame the coffee wasn’t as good as the food

Friendly efficient service, Fresh and filling, the BLT Bagel was a perfect brunch, highly recommended for a hungry traveller👍

Having used this site for years I was disappointed to see the menu displaying various options of filled bagel dummed down to a few options. I was told this was to avoid complexity then stood for 5 mins while customers took ages to ‘pick their own fillings’ , change their mind when pricing given , then argued at till when staff member hadn’t applied discount .. each bagel had been billed at over £7 each ! Apart from fact I don’t have time to spend in the new longer queue, customers in a station setting want/need easy pick menu. Build your own doesn’t work and people will go to much quicker option next door . Original members of staff great but new menu idea let’s them down and makes offer look very down scale

Gluten free bagel with great fillings - what a treat! Other family members had gluten bagels with great fillings. Good variety of fillings. Tasty and enjoyable. Outdoor seating so can watch your train come up on the board whilst you eat your bagels!

You can’t beat the bagels you get in Bagleman. They use high quality ingredients, the bread is always fresh and perfectly toasted and they serve you fast. The staff are super friendly and their service is impeccable, even during busy periods. I’m a commuter so I savour one of their bagels now and again as a treat. You get a good deal on a bagel and a coffee for under a fiver and it’s worth every penny!

I’ve been here a few times (can’t stay from the delicious vegan BLT!) and the bagels are always delicious. Hot, fresh and exciting vegan/veggie options. The most enjoyable part of my visit is always the staff - they are so kind, helpful and happy. I always leave with a smile on my face. Would highly recommend and will be dragging all my friends here :)

This branch is great, always super quick, bagels are good and the staff are spot on. Always stop for breakfast here if I'm in a hurry. If you need coffee and a bagel five minutes before your train leaves this is the place.

Service was clean swift and friendly. The choice of bagel was excellent and extremely tasty, coffee was not bitter and HOT, fabulous.

I get a bagel from here every Friday morning and they are excellent. I have Coeliac disease and the staff members always take extra care not to cross contaminate my order. The staff are always nice and awesome and the bagels & coffee are 👌🏼. Thanks guys!

We gave a massive order before we were grabbing our train to London. Bagels coffees, all food and drinks were hot and delicious when when we ate our breakfast.

Staying in Brighton and getting my son set-up at Sussex (Falmer Station) we had occasion to be back and forth through the train station several times. Stopped at Bagleman almost daily for coffee and/or bagels - always prompt and courteous and the price was right for a tasty bite to sustain us early in the day.

Just bought a bagel for my lunch to find a bundle of hairs in my veggie bagel. Yuk! Staff were pleasant but this is unpleasant!

Nice place to pick up a quick snack before your train journey. Breakfast bagel was really nice. Made a nice change. Lots of choice. Good quick service.

I just visited this place today, my pitfall is a ‘breakfast bagel’ which I really enjoy.

As a celiac this is a place you NEED to pop into, lots of options of bagel toppings (meat, healthy, veggie, vegan) and the best (and probably) only place I have ever been able to get a gf bagel. The best part is they take amazing care as well, ask if you are celiac, wash their hands, prepare separately from non-gf bagels and warm it up in a clean separate tray. All in all, the best and most care I have seen when preparing gf food, thank you for being amazing and giving celiacs a bit of hope to have food outside of our house

At the station. Take away or eat in extra charge. Toasted extra charge. Reuben my favourite. Good range of bagels. Always good. Highly recommended.

Just what we needed after a night out in Brighton, with veggie sausage option exceeding expectations. The man who served us was delightfully cheery and brightened our morning.

I come here quite often and cannot fault the bagels. Tasty, fresh and always best toasted. Only downside is there is normally a queue

Came in by myself before my train, 3 young men working all absolutely lovely and chatty. Amazing staff they were quick and smiley despite long hours and rubbish weather. Just what I needed to cheer me up.

They charge extra for toasting. Give a loyalty card. Choice of bagel. Delicious in a word. Good location for commuters on the forecourt of Brighton station. Cheerful girls serving. Highly recommended.

This is a place for snacks whilst you are waiting for your train if you like bagels and the various fillings that they do here which is fairly popular There are a number of different snack places here at the station so do shop around

Lovely service and lovely food, would recommend if you need a quick, healthy snack ! Also great range of other snacks and drinks (small batch coffees!) at a cheaper price than around some of the other station stalls

Great bagel, but won't be spending my money there again as both members of staff who served me were so rude, blunt and unfriendly. Felt like they wanted my money and for me to leave as soon as possible. Such a shame.

Friendly staff, wide ranging menu, plenty of space to eat in or takeaway. Salt beef is amazing and I recommend.

I absolutely love bagelman bagels - particularly the jalapeño one with some Swiss cheese, pickles, tomato and mustard- hits the spot every time! I do think they a bit pricey but well worth it.

Its a shame because I remember salt beef as being tender and delicious however Bagelman made it tough and tasteless. Very poor had to throw it away.

Has to visit , read so much about this shop , bagels were nice but didn't blow us away , bit pricy for basic stuff , Visited on a break during summer , quite busy but service wS quick and efficient

Had a bacon bagel and coffee for £4.30 before travelling to London with Korean friends on Saturday. The staff were polite and friendly, the coffee was excellent and my bacon bagel was delicious. I thought I didn't like bagels but now my mind is changed.

Fantastic friendly staff, great menu with lots of choice, may have to go back for lunch! Had a sausage sesame bagel and redbush tea.

Tengo que desplazarme a trabajar, tengo que trabajar 5 de 7 días y que incluye un fin de semana. Es mi absoluta favorita Bagelman, dos cafés en la ciudad tienen el personal más amigable y tener un bagelman en la estación que abre para mañana temprano es ideal! Sin embargo, he notado una gran diferencia en las personas empleadas para la semana y las personas que están en la mañana temprano un sábado o domingo. Nadie quiere levantarse a las 7 de la mañana en un día de semana y debe estar tranquilo porque la mayoría de los viajeros tienen sus fines. Es una pena, porque algunos de los miembros del personal que he visto en días laborables son tan rápido y se puede decir que quieren que haga su tren tanto como lo haces! La deja en el fin de semana con personal lento que cometer errores y comprensiblemente) (parecía que no quería estar allí! No suelo escribir comentarios pero creo que si era yo me gustaría ser consciente de cómo la diferencia es drástica.

I had gluten free salmon cream cheese and lemon. Firstly, I found it extremely expensive for the size of it - nearly £5 - which I had to pay more for or buy something else as there is a 50p charge for card (who still has this charge in a busy place?!). Secondly, the filling itself was about an inch thick in cream cheese with a tiny sliver of salmon, and I couldn't taste any lemon. The picture doesn't even show quite how much cream cheese was in there. To be honest the bread itself wasn't too bad for gluten free bread, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I would have rather had a pre-packed sandwich from m&s;.

We were just looking for a quick snack to eat on the train and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this bagel. Admittedly, it was quite an expensive bagel, but you expect this from something at a train station. But it was definitely worth it as the ingredients were really fresh and it was jam packed. We had a Reuben and a Chicken, Bacon and Avocado and both were great. Would recommend for a snack on the go!

Me gustan estos bagels mucho. Normalmente en las estaciones de tren la comida es difícil, pero hombre de bagel es diferente. Los bagels son buenos y podrá decidir sus propios rellenos. Recomendaría salchichas, hash brown, champiñones, queso y salsa marrón.

Grabbed some bagels for car journey back home rather than stopping at services, these were the tastiest bagels we have had outside of Boston, USA. Chicken/Avocado, veggie & Pastrami, plenty of filling & soft squishy bagels, very tasty.

Después de un largo viaje desde Roma a Brighton que comenzó al alba, salí de la estación de tren a 11 o'clock sensación ravenously hambre. Un panecillo resultó ser la única cosa perfecta para calmar el hambre antes de una comida adecuada. Bagelman tiene una buena selección de bagels y los ingredientes. Tuve una crudite con un montón de hummus y aguacate ... Sabroso! Yo sólo tengo una cosa que quejarse: ¿por qué, ¿por qué debería pagar más si quiero que mi bagel hot ... ? En Italia que estaba fuera de la cuestión. no está mal para una elección, pero creo que es obvio y lo típico que agradable, cálido y crujientes. En Italia cualquiera que tenían a sus clientes pagar extra para calefacción un panino o una porción de pizza sería desierto.

Vaya aquí regularmente para recoger un bagel para el almuerzo. 5 o 6 Siempre opciones de bagel para semilla de amapola para el Jalapeno. Todo muy sabroso y fresco.
