My first time back to burger off since they moved to the pub! Unbelievable as always, milkshakes are perfect, burgers are bangin'.

Amazing burgers, even better than the first one I ate over 20 years ago in Hove.Kids loved their first burger off burgers. Nice clean pub with great views. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Food arrived quickly and hot. The veggie burger was nicely cooked and generous portion sizes, I’ll look forward to trying some of the other burgers in the future.

The food was on time, hot and tasty. I'm sure we will order again.

Location is very out the way. I went there specifically to get the proclaimed spiciest burger of the UK and needless to say, not worth doing. You have to sign a disclaimer to buy it which is understandable since its hospitalised people in the past. I had 3 bites, first one didn't taste any spice and it just tasted awful. Reassembling marmite. Then the spicy kicked in within the next 2 bites. I instantly threw up and spent the next 6 hours with a horrid stomach, spitting blood and having blood bogeys coming out.

The goujons from burger off are the best ..and the chips are actually gorgeous too

Chicken burger was enormous and perfectly cooked but sadly slathered in mayo. Would be great without!

first visit and loved it ....and from Gatwick its a cracking ride down for food....watch out for Bike Nights as it will be as there are a few motor cycle groupr hitting this place....the food is good real good the chili burger can be a bit lively ...

Read about this place online and decided to drive down to try it. What a gem. The gents were super friendly and the food was great. Can highly recommend the cheese burger. Chicken nuggets and the onion rings. Will be back.

Maybe it's better if your near blind drunk, but this burger was just gross. I don't think they even clean their grille because thei burger just head burnt pieces of grease all over it.

Incredible fast food. Generous serving sizes and helpful, friendly staff. Could definitely do with (and deserves) a proper makeover to bring the surroundings up to the standard of the food but seems well kept.

This place is awesome!!! Really friendly staff and the range of burgers was huge, with any toppings and sauces you can imagine! Bit off the beaten track, I just hope that doesn't affect their trade as this place deserves to thrive! 👌

Been meaning to try this place for years. Just off Western Road by The Freemasons pub. Wish I'd gone in sooner. Burgers are absolutely fabulous. Cooked to order in front of you. Excellent and interesting choice too. Great service from the owner (sorry I don't know your name) and will be back soon. FWIW I had a chilli burger. 10/10.

I love Burger Off, really nice dudes and fantastic food.. Now for my standard ridiculous review. So I found out Google Maps (rather creepily) has been tracking me for years with this "My Timeline" feature. My first thought was "I wonder how many times I've been to Burger Off?!" (Probably not the correct response to being tracked unknowingly for years.. but hey, what am I if not a top tier Burger Off customer! I digress.) Fear not trackerphobes! Google informed me I'd only been to Burger Off once, which can't be correct (I actually find it rather insulting, once? Really?) It also said this one visit lasted from the 10th-14th of June, 7 years ago. What's the moral of the story? Well Google couldn't track a whale in a pool.. but if I had to spend 4 days in a burger place, Burger Off is the only one I'd consider. Much love fellas X

I had the Mexican burger (peanut butter and chilli) and chicken nuggets with sweet chilli sauce ... It was soooo tasty 😍 and great price

Popped in on a break at work, Burgers cooked to order, you can what you want in them and many patties as you request. You cant beat value for money cheaper then well known fast food outlets and the burgers are home made. Love the place will be back soon.

This is the only burger joint that ever makes me think about stopping being vegan for 25 minutes while I completely demolish their double bacon cheeseburger(s).

A nice little burger joint! The fellows behind the counter were super pleasant to chat with. They do have the hottest burger in the world. But note that it's not a joke,take tmit seriously! Thier other burgers are really lovely however and I really enjoyed them. Thank you!

They sell root beer. The best ever soda in a can.. better than coke, Pepsi and Dr pepper

awful dry and rubbery and tastes. Bacon really chewy, chips had been cooked in old oil looked like have used the same oil for the last three months. For me a start it’s very reasonable.

One of a kind burger place! Uniquely varied, some choices whimsical (peanut butter actually is great on a burger!), and altogether creative and delicious options. Well prepared, presented. Very impressive. The triple XXX burger is not for the faint of heart-literally! Interesting folklore behind that dare you try it option ;) But...why nit be brave and venture into those culinary hellfire waters! Extremely friendly owners and a must for those in Brighton and beyond.

Fast food done properly. Plates for eating in would be nice rather than plastic boxes.

Love the burgers here, ignore the nonsense about them being dry, they are nice and low fat if you avoid the cheese and sauce, good quality lean minced steak, great value too.

Ok so I was silly enough to try the chilli burger challenge but forget that!! the chicken fillet burger was genuinely the biggest & nicest one I've ever had.

Excellent burgers. Lots to choose from, including adding more burgers to what is frankly, an already huge single burger. Add a small chips and it'll feed you for a week. Bacon burger is my favourite. My only issue is the chips not being fries, but that's not going to put me off returning.

I like this place very much, it just a little burguer where you can find cheap burgers and drinks, the burgers are really big and goods. I put a photo where you can see 2 double burgers + 2 drinks + Onion Rings + sauce, all of this cost just 15£

Hidden gem, high quality ingredients used and it makes so much difference. The burger itself has so much flavour and a great choice of toppings and sauces. If you want to experience new world of spice hamburger, i recommend this restaurant. Before you eating this spicy hamburger, you have to sign in. Because after eating, you can die. I can definitely sure that it was the most spicy burger in my life and whole British.

This place does the best burgers in town at a reasonable price, their chicken burgers are massive you get a whole chicken breast. Be careful though... I've just had a massive double chilli burger with cheese bacon and mushrooms with their really hot xxx sauce on it and that sauce is proper hot.

Had the burger with blue cheese, bloody delicious! 100% going back to try the chilli challenge burger! Makes a nice change from most of the pretentious burger joints around Brighton and Hove.

100% luverly jubbly! Had a 1000 Island burger large fries and 2 mayo dips which is my usual at uncle Sam's, tried burger off for the 1st time as recommended by a friend and found the same price as uncle Sam's but the difference is that I left half the massive portion of chips and gave back the 2nd mayo dip as one was enough. Lovely burger flame grilled, traditional chips were lovely as well. This is the only place that gives a proper large portion of chips I've never left half before! The guys running the place are very friendly and gave me polite table service even though they were busy. Thanks guys for the great food and service. I recommend the nuttela milk shake its awesome! 😂

Popped in for the first time today, fancied a burger and been following these guys on FB and heard all about their tasty burgers. Finally decided to try it, after pigging out on two burgers I can comfortably say that they do serve the freshest, best tasting and a very high quality burger in central Brighton & Hove! I ll be back for more!

I actually made noises of joy as I ate my burger here. I couldn't help myself! Never done that before. Don't be put off by the shabby exterior. Go in and order one of the best burgers you will ever have tasted. Enjoy.

The burgers in this place are superb. There is a great choice and you can tailor your burger to what you like, they'd stack it as high as you want to try! I really enjoyed my triple blue cheese burger, the patties were succulent, good beef and not greasy at all. This place is legendary for its super hot chilli sauce, for which you have to sign a disclaimer to purchase, I haven't been brave enough to try it yet. The only reason it doesn't get a 5* is for its decor, maybe it could be a bit better, if only to compliment their fab grub!

This is the place to go to for good food and Not the décor. Simple seating, but then your there to eat and enjoy the food.. Burgers are a work of art. HUGE choice and if you want something not on the menu or a change in the filling of a set burger, there happy to change it. A wide range of shakes and various canned drinks. The meat patties are all freshly made buy a butcher and delivered daily. No added rubbish unlike major chain burger bars. Chunky chips that are crispy, and they use real Helmanns Mayo in the burgers and in the large dipping pots if you add one to your order. Not exactly the burger for some one trying to diet. lol. The guys who run the place are cheerful and work good as a team. Plus side, they now have a firm that will deliver their burgers locally. only down side that i can think of is that the parking is almost non existing. But if you driving and have a passenger to nip into the shop then its not really an issue. Just move on if you see a parking warden. ( I go by train when i visit, but long walk from the station, but then im ready for my meal and a sit down lol ) Check out You Tube for the various Chilli Burger challenges. XXX hot chilli sauce is used and you have to sign a Disclaimer before your order !!! Several people have ended up in hospital including two radio reporters who did and article on the hot burgers ..
