Eddie's in Brighton and Hove

Just ordered via Deliveroo, haven’t finished eating yet but need to write this.. it’s so good! Portions are really good size, with this prices today you will get only half of it!! So much appreciative it. The food is fresh and rich. two pieces toast with eggs benedict like for 6.95£, lovely tuna jack potato also beautiful portion and my fav ham and mushroom omelette with beautiful fresh chips on the side, !! So nicely done, the best I ever had, big chunks of mushrooms and ham, thick delicious and moist. Prices 5* , Food 5* ( out of 5 ) x Thank you Eddie

We visited Eddie’s as the cafe down the road had run out of all baked goods and were mightily pleased. We had a super tasty home-cooked soup and a baked cheesecake that knocked the spots of any baked cheesecake I’ve ever had. Friendly, clean, good value, good service and new, unexpected dishes I didn’t know I’d love.

Smashing full English. Revolutionary idea using toasted baguette instead of normal sliced toast. Scrambled eggs done perfectly and all served in around 5 mins after ordering. Relatively cheap compared to others nearby

Unfortunately I’ll food fall out the bottom of the bag as the delivery driver handed us the food. The bags aren’t substantial enough for what we had half our food was all over my door step. When I phoned to let them know about there bags and half the food was Un eatable I was basically told it wasn’t there problem. Also missing items.

The food was delicious and they went very helpful at accommodating a wheelchair, i highly recommended eddie's

Been here twice and they’re really great. Prices are very nice and the service is honestly the reason I’m writing this review. The lady who takes the orders is always smiling and the owner is very friendly. The whole place is a pleasant place to have food. The food itself is great too.

Couldn’t fault the service or the food. Well priced toasted sandwich with salad garnish, nicely drizzled with balsamic vinegar, and crisps as well. Great little cafe, clean and well run.

Having as Meal in Eddie’s Cafe first for a very long time. Eddies. Elsie and Maureen, back at Eddies after lockdown. Still a great eatery if your in Portslade. Still a great atmosphere and staff. It is well worth a visit. Haven’t tried the Chippy yet?! Next time Eddy!

Lovely place! Good for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Happy to do takeaway. Lovely staff always eager to please! Highly recommended.

A fantastic find. Not a normal cafe, instead you can have the traditional breakfast but can also have some great european dishes. I had goulash which was amazing and great value. Coffee was good also.

Been several times over the past few months. The staff are always fantastic and the food is always both fast and delicious. I've only had the breakfast options, but the chef cooks everything exactly to my tastes

just the place to pop in for a lunch with family found the food reasonably priced and tasty . Very friendly and polite waiting staff too. Good value for money would visit again.

Have visited Eddies on many, many occasions. Eddie, his wife and staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The food is always delicious and cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable and service is always quick. This little cafe is a gem, very clean and tidy. Highly recommended 10/10

Stumbled across this place as looking for a quick breakfast before dropping my son off for an interview. Really lovely service and food, all freshly cooked and also very clean. Will definitely go back if in the area again.

Everything about this place was just above my expectations. The owners are really nice people and make you feel welcomed. Food is great , ideal place from a light refreshment to a meal. Value for money

Visited today with my Wife. Wonderful food and super cakes. I had the Cabbage Stew, it was really good. Lovely friendly owner, will definitely be back.

Dropped in for a coffee and cake, stayed for lunch. What a treat, Polish Cabbage Soup to die for followed by coffee and Cheese cake. Highest recommendation, will be back and back again.

Eddies is a great little cafe, staff always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great place to go in Portslade for a coffee or for lunch do recommend you try the cakes all homemade.

Had lunch here with family and it was really nice. The interior looks great and the food is really tasty with some Polish influences on the menu. Staff are really friendly and prices very good.

Recently noticed place under new ownership and I'm not usually a fan of coffee shops but found this to be to a excellent high standard of cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. Decor themed well and food looked nice, but I didn't feel hungry on visit. Reasonably priced and would recommend as a perfect place to take time out your day and relax..

I visited this restaurant with my friend on Saturday and what a delight it was. A good extensive menu with English classics plus a great selection of Polish dishes. I opted for the Chicken Escalope which was delicious, my friend opted for jacket potato with cheese and beans. Both dishes were a very good size and came with a good salad. The owner was incredibly friendly and there was a good atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch as she had been eying up the carrot cake in the window for weeks and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious with a Polish theme and really reasonable. I had the meatballs which came with an amazing gravy and a kind of sweet coleslaw.

Eddie's is a friendly clean restaurant, with amazing polish food. I recommend the cottage cheese and potato dumplings they are absolutely divine. His chocolate cake is to die for. Or simply have a lovely coffee and chat with Eddie.

I went to Eddie's last week and the service was grate they we're very welcoming and happy to change my order to suite me. They do amazing Polish food. I recommend the chicken galore . I had a lovely meal and a divine pudding with Ice cream.

I went at Eddie's because a friend recommended it to me. I really liked the environment and the owner is nice and friendly. The food was delicious, the omelette was the best that I've ever tried. But the best bit was the carrot cake, fresh and tasty!! I can't wait to have some more
