My wife and I were visiting Brighton and spent Saturday shopping. Wrme stumbled in here in the afternoon and ended up staying for hours. Cocktails were incredible and loved the atmosphere and old school hip hop sounds.

Really nice breakfast experience, dishes were delicious and abundant. The cocktail selection is wide with a ton of available alcohols, and the bartender really had good avive to give. My new favorite breakfast place in Brighton!

Maravillosa comida, excelentes bebidas inventivas, ambiente amable y personal educado y servicial, pero el camarero y camareros parecen personas sin hogar con camisetas sucias y zapatos rotos. Me gusta mucho el interior cálido y agradable, el inodoro está limpio pero tan feo como un mal inodoro público. Vengo regularmente y recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar, pero podría hacer con alguna renovación.

Pasé a tomar un cóctel de regreso de la ciudad. 3 cócteles más tarde (tazón de tierra de aceitunas negras realmente buenas) eventualmente nos alejamos. Aunque , para ser justos, se trata casi totalmente de una revisión a base de alcohol, el manhattan negro , el mont blanc y el cazarrecompensas fueron nuestras armas preferidas, y son muy recomendables. Todo preparado a su debido tiempo con gran consideración a la preparación, presentado con orgullo y gran interés en su opción de su creación. Bien hecho , espero volver ❤️

My wife and I took advantage of the very generous Groupon voucher for 2. The brunch was excellent, well cooked and a generous portion as well as rwo lovely cocktails. Friendly staff. Definitely a place to revisit.

Took a solo trip to Brighton and ended up spending a good chunk of the night in here. It's got a quiet, relaxing vibe to it and the drinks menu is brilliant! I ended up sampling a good few! Great for date nights, hanging out with a couple of mates or just a night in to yourself.

We had a lovely dinner and perfect cocktails here. The flavours came out really nicely. I‘d especially recommend the beef tacos. The barkeeper was friendly and definitely knew how to mix great cocktails! Thank you for a delicious and wonderful evening.

Lovely independent cafe in the lanes, we had brunch which was really tasty and very reasonable. The bar looked very well stocked and I would definitely go back for an evening.

Got a groupon deal which was excellent value - staff were super friendly but rushed off their feet, they were swamped. There was quite a long wait for cocktails & brunch as it was busy, i didn't rate my cocktail too much but will be back to try some more definitely. Vegan breakfast was yummy, good quality ingredients but no vegan spread available. Friend ordered full english but was given a veggie sausage with it which was a bit odd. Will definitely be back to try other drinks & the rosti!

I was super excited to have my birthday brunch here. Much to my disappointment they were understaffed. We didn't get any service for about 30mins people that had arrived after us had their orders taken before us. The food came an hour after arriving and felt more like lunch. The food was nice the cocktail was amazing I had a biscoff espresso martini

All frills no substance. Forget the reshoots and cherry tomatoes and get the basics right. Both drinks and food took a long time to come out, several tables also experiencing the same. Potato Rosti overcooked. Full English a vegetarian sausage instead of meat, bacon overcooked. Poached eggs perfect

We booked the lovely upstairs room for lunch for 25 of us after our wedding at the registry office at Brighton Town Hall just down the road. It was perfect! There was plenty of space, the drinks were served regularly & with a smile and the food was great! We had a selection of modern tapas style dishes, all of which went down very well, followed by platters of charcuterie, cheese and hummus. They let us decorate the room ourselves and could not have been more accommodating. A little hidden gem, right in the heart of Brighton with a relaxed, very “Brighton” vibe.

A Groupon voucher came up so it would have been rude not to go. A good friend and I had a fun afternoon with great food and drinks. The service was friendly although they were very busy, upstairs was hot and humid until we got them to open a window, then it was much more comfortable especially with the ceiling fans operating. The buzzy atmosphere and nice decor ensured that this little place was a good place to be. One little niggle was that the hash browns were slightly incinerated, but we didn’t bother complaining, we still ate them after all! Looking forward to my next return.

We had a great breakfast at Twisted Lanes. The menu was varied and interesting. The food was immaculate. Well cooked, fresh. I had smashed avocado on sourdough toast. It came with pickled onions, salad and chilli flakes. It tasted delicious. Coffee was excellent. The owner was friendly, the service immediate. Very highly recommended.

The food arrived cold and part burnt. There was stench coming from the toilet.... service was alright.

My partner and I went for brunch here using a Groupon deal. We really enjoyed our meal. I opted for the twisted bowl which was beautifully presented and a delightful mix of fresh and cooked ingredients. My partner had the eggs benedict. Both meals were washed down with a cocktail and mocktail. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

The cocktail menu is extensive so you'll always find a drink you like! Food is also delicious, well presented and perfect with a drink or two. Would recommend

Stopped here between gigs and had the traditional english breakfast with a cappuccino which were both fantastic. The upstairs seating comes with a nice view. Definitely recommend stopping here!

I stopped there for brunch yesterday, I had the avocado sourdough with pickled beetroot and goats cheese, the food looked great and tasted delicious. Good value for money.

Dropped in for cocktails after trying to get into Twisted Lemon which was full and we were kindly shown to their sister venue instead. Cocktails were good, plenty of choice - recommend the penicillin if you like a touch of smoke :) the menu was full of classic cocktails and their own creations but I wasn’t such a fan of the menu being arranged by spirit type, maybe just me? It has a relaxed atmosphere and does feel a little like a cafe which serves cocktails rather than a premium cocktail bar, so bear that in mind depending on what experience you are looking for.

If I could give more stars I would. The food is exquisite - I would choose one favourite out of the beef short rib, crab cakes, croquettes, padron peppers or pumpkin fritters, but I'd feel like I was cheating on the others. The bartender was lovely, never left a particular wait no matter how many he had to serve, and watching him mix cocktails was a nice show in itself. The chef was so welcoming and obviously took pride in making exceptional food which was utterly deserved. So good I cant wait to come back!

Super little place in the city centre, run by two amiable and knowledgeable young men. We had brunch, which was beautifully cooked and presented. The cocktails were full strength and made from scratch with quality ingredients, no frozen slush or pre-mix. Good value. Deserves to be busier.

I would have walked straight past this place as it doesn't look particularly inviting from outside. Only visited as I had picked up a Groupon deal for our trip to Brighton. We had delicious professionally made cocktails, the BEST full English, great friendly service & will definitely come back next time in Brighton! Go...you will not be disappointed!

We just found a deal on Grupon and did not expect much but we were completely blown away by first of all the amazing service we received, and second of all the beautiful food! Chef also came down to serve us personally and checked on how we were doing! Wow great service!!! The cocktails were really well done and we were so happy we chose to start our friends birthday weekend here! Thank you so much and we would definitely be back for sure! Got a Groupon: brunch for two with a cocktail or hot drink each. Bargain! Food was delicious, especially the tomato salsa with the hash browns yum yum yum! The cocktails we had were ok/good. We’d probably try different ones next time. We’d definitely return to this place.

Incredible restaurant in a good central area in Brighton. Bar staff are very well trained with their cocktail knowledge and I couldn't find a single fault with their drinks. Their food, blows that away, you won't be disappointed with anything you order on the menu (taste dependent), and you'll leave feeling full but wanting so much more. Couldn't recommend any more, well worth a visit when in Brighton.

Didn’t get to try any food unfortunately as we just popped in for a drink or two. The Cocktails were lovely and definitely value for money. Felt a little pissed after only two 😅. Staff were very friendly, would definitely recommend!

Brilliant little cocktail bar in Duke Street. Great value, 3 "little" plates (tapas) and a cocktail for £19.95. Total bill for 2 was £33.90. Service was top-rate and the atmosphere was buzzing!!

We booked this as our work Christmas do and the value for money was great. They created a package for us which suited what we needed. The food was excellent (and we tried maybe all of the small plates and sharer boards) and the drinks were beautifully made and presented. All of our servers were amazing, great service but also able to share their reccomendations to help us in making a decision with choosing just one of a fantastic selection of cocktails. 26.11.23 We were welcomed Straight away by a really friendly young lad. Lovely atmosphere and fab decor. The coffee was delicious as was the food. They didn't have a juice that our daughter liked so the awesome chap offered to make her a unique moc tail on the fly. He's a credit to the team. We will most certainly be flying the flag and spreading the word. We will be back! We'll worth the money just forcthe service alone! Just wish I took the chaps (from saltdean) name. Thank you mate!

Lovely place with friendly staff, delicious drinks and great location. They have cozy outdoor seatings and a surprisingly large interior. Probably my favorite place for drinks I've been to this far in Brighton. Recommend the happy hour where you get a decently wide variety of drinks for about £7 each.
