The best restaurants in Broadland East of England

Two and a half years ago I came for a carvery whilst visiting my family (on holiday from Australia), this holiday the only thing on my itinerary apart from hanging out with siblings and their kids was to come back! Absolutely fantastic food, and friendly staff! See you in a couple of years 😁

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who works at the Railway tavern, Me, My grandad, Step mum, Dad and brother always go and never does it every disappoint! The workers there were quick to react to us coming in and within 20 - 30 minutes we’d been served. It was amazing. Us 5 have been several times on many occasions as its local and it never ever disappoints. I went there for my birthday last year with My mum and dad and family and i was sooo happy. Thank you for your lovely service, well worth the visit 👏🏻

Very disappointing and rude management. The rest of the staff were lovely. We have been many times before but never made to feel as awful as today!!

Had given this place a wide berth as the last time I went was underwhelmed. However when I visited this time the man with a face like a slapped arse was nowhere to be seen. One of the young women was cooking the food and it was the best I've ever had from there.

We normally can't fault full river but in the last few months I cannot remember I meal that I really enjoyed. The food has been well below average. A few times the food has been luke warm and bland and today it was incredibly salty and over processed and ended up in the bin.

The place is. I’ve but the fish was nearly 10 pound a go which is fine if it wasn’t seriously over cooked batter was burnt so badly u couldn’t eat one piece and one piece the batter came away entirely as over done Chips where small really for a large 5 pound nearly portion .. nearly 60 Pounds for tea and it wasn’t good I’m afraid .. I would of returned but I live some distance away

When McDonald's used to be a treat, now a homogeneous gloop served cold by teenagers in their first job, and that's including the inexperienced manager who is unaware of customer service.

Food was lush, definitely be my local. Bets anything in norwich

Just paid £9.50 for Cod and Chips.Average fish awful chips. Half the chips were small hard pieces, the remainder tasted as though they were lunchtimes leftovers heated up. Never again!

Everything was great till we were about to go my wife visited the toilets which were absolutely disgusting were told by a staff member they were the old ones as they couldn't do everything this doesn't mean they should be dirty wont be going back in a hurry

Staff so polite, the food was hot and enjoyable
