Had given this place a wide berth as the last time I went was underwhelmed. However when I visited this time the man with a face like a slapped arse was nowhere to be seen. One of the young women was cooking the food and it was the best I've ever had from there.

The food was OK. It didn't appear to be fresh from the kitchen and looked a little dry. I found the portion size and dryness disappointing considering the cost of the dish. There was also a black hair which can be seen beside the gravy jug in the attached photo. The staff didn't seem very positive. It may have been a busy afternoon.

Great evening at the town house. Food was lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful especially Mark, he went out of his way to make it a lovely birthday meal, when a rendition of Happy birthday was had. He helped with my mums food by cooking something off the menu to satisfy her needs. Entertained the kids with colouring books and pens and an asset to the town house.

I was seriously impressed with the cocktails at The Red Lion—easily some of the best I’ve had in a pub setting. Each drink was beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and made with care. Whether you're into the classics or something a bit more creative, the menu has something for everyone. Holly made a great espresso martini.
