KFC Norwich - Mile Cross Lane in Broadland

To put simply I wouldn't bother ordering after the chaos tonight, I would like to say to the female manager on shift tonight thank you a million times for putting up with everyone single handedly tonight as your other manager sat back and watched it all unfold saying he was working in the office to fix stuff behind the scenes basically a long way of saying he's the only chicken in KFC tonight.

Staff so polite, the food was hot and enjoyable

Since this store has been refurbished and reopened, I've had the most woeful experience. I've visited four times since they lost reopened. Three times I've ordered a zinger rice box and all three times I had to pull up and wait in the car park. The third time, I waited for 15 minutes in the car park and had to go in and chase up my own food which was sat on the side and a member of staff just forgot to bring it out to me. Today, I ordered a zinger rice box with an extra fillet and I got given a rice box with classic dressing and no extra fill it. I'm honestly past the point of going and complaining, I just simply won't come to this restaurant anymore. Do better.

Went there last night had a family bucket the chips were not to standard sort burnt, felt like it’s a hard chicken, did a drive through my order took longer not going back there again 1 star it’s fair.

Went to this kfc and the manager Jason, was absolutely miserable ! All in all just rude . I feel sorry for the people that have to work with him

Took my order, paid then got to window and was told there was no chicken as they close in half an hour. What is the point in saying your open until 11pm. Then take my money. There to eager to get home.

It was a strange experience. Got served really quickly, food arrived within 5 mins, brought to the table. Food was hot, well with exception of the coleslaw, that was cold. But the biggest surprise was the order was all present and correct. 🤷‍♂️

The most beautiful KFC I've ever visited, great friendly staff and food is nice and fresh, only used drive through so can't comment on atmosphere.

Food was flavourful and promptly delivered. Ice cream wasn't melted either! Some of the chips could have benefited from cooking for longer but overall I'd go back

Haven’t had Kentucky for ages …. Sadly not missed much at all . Warmed up chips and the smallest pieces of chicken ever !!!! Very disappointing

All the bins were full. Every table had some kind of rubbish/crumbs on it and had not been cleaned . To top it all, it wasn't busy, and they had 6 staff behind the counter just standing there talking. I will not be going back.

Careful when coming here as there is a 1 hour limit on car park and you will be fined !

Went through the drive through last night 22nd March, told to wait in the car park for my order. After 25 minutes, still no food, so went in and demanded a refund due to the wait. The car park was full with people waiting for their orders, some VERY angry, same inside the restaurant which was in absolute chaos. If your store managers/supervisors can’t handle it then get rid of them and get people in who can…won’t be back..!,

Great restaurant! Food is always great from here and service is quick and friendly. Only use this KFC in Norwich now. Also, since it’s been refurbished it’s so much nicer!

Food is alright, I mean you can't go far wrong when it's all prepped and sent to store, so the staff just need to cook for required time and put into designated box. I went into store last weekend since refurb, and I won't be going back. Staff are rude, miserable and no help whatsoever. Franchisee for kfc norwich seriously needs to do an undercover boss😅

This KFC, much cleaning, more space, and in this restaurant in than other places.. I always have the APP, always has deals, and definitely save money. IE get the mini fillet snack box £3.99, then offers an option to add a drink for 0.99p. You get chips, mini fillet burgers, and small pop corn for £5. If you use the APP scan, you code and spend over £3, it goes on KFC PINBALL chance to win something FREE. Today, we won 2 pieces of chicken and 1 mini fillet of chicken. Also had 4 piece chicken meal for £7.99, well worth using or getting APP. KFC best fast food place, fresh,hot, and jucy chicken. Was piping hot and cooked to order. Staff was friendly and nice.

Walked in to order whilst my car was being worked on by a nearby mechanic. Very clean, fast service, fresh and tasty food. I would recommend this branch!

Went here today after the refurbishment. What a waste of time and that was. You can only order from the screens rather than at the counter as before. You should be able to choose, not everyone is good with technology and it takes twice as long. Tap this tap that. Then there was a mess up with the order as my daughter wanted mash instead of chips. Staff didn't seem too bothered. Forgot my daughter's chicken fillet and drink from her order aswell. The chicken I had was a bit dried. Definitely a lot better before the refurbishment. Please bring back the option of ordering from the counter as if paying cash you still have to go to the counter to pay. Definitely not as good. Very disappointed

I visited on 19th February 2025 at 15:04, and unfortunately, I experienced poor service. The staff seemed uninterested in assisting customers and were instead engaged in conversation with each other. There was a complete lack of customer service, which was quite disappointing.

Absolutely shocking ! All the tables were dirty, only three tables occupied and drive thru wasn’t busy so there was no excuse for this. Had to wait 15 mins for food, all our box meals were not in boxes, just dumped on trays so no one had a clue what burger and bits went with what. Bread was stale and wings were dry. The staff asked what looked like friends ( not in uniform) to empty the overflowing bins. Just an unpleasant place.

Decided to try again post the refurb that has just been done. Summary: DON'T BOTHER. They now cannot serve any drink that involves hot milk (mocha, hot chocolate, latte etc) but the (compulsory to use) touchscreen kiosks STILL let you order these AND charge you a 40p upgrade fee without telling you (non refundable!!!). Portion sizes are also comedy small - see the attached picture. Greggs is opposite, or Maccies just down the hill towards the city. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Good experience, classic KFC that many of us enjoy - done well. Unnoticeable wait. 'Rasa' cashier very polite, professional chap on the counter. This branch is leaps and bounds above KFC Gillingham.

KFC is not as good as it used to be. I think there have been some changes to the Colonels original recipe! This particular branch consistently gets orders wrong so best to park up and check the contents of your bag before driving home.

I DID NOT RECEIVE MY FOOD, IT SAYS DELIVERED BUT I NEVER GOT MY FOOD. THE DRIVER DELIVERED IT AT A WRONG ADDRESS, I KNOCKED ON MY NEIGHBOURS DOOR TO SEE IF THEY YAD RECEIVED MY ORDER BY MISTAKE THEY SAID NO THEY DID NOT. I DONT KNOW WHERE MY FOOD WAS DELIVERED, IT SOMPLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, I DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE DRIVERS DETAILS SO I CAN CALL THEM AND ASK FOR MY FOOD AND WHERE IT WAS DELIVERED. I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND. WHERE IS MY FOOD?????????? I NEVER RECEIVED MY FOOD.

we ordered at 6:15 to hopefully have the food by the time we had to leave at 7:30 but we didn’t get our food until 8:35 leaving us waiting for well over 2 hours for our food. When it arrived it was also stone cold

The driver didn’t know where he was going and upon being directed went the opposite direction. By the time I got my food, it was stone cold.

Fries were poor.. very limp, not nice…chicken was just ok, poorly wrapped with a cold can of drink laid on top of fries in just a paper bag, probably what spoiled the fries.

I ordered enough to get the free big popcorn chicken. I didn't receive a side order and got no popcorn chicken. Really disappointed as I only got the sides to make it upto £20 and get the free chicken

The bun was stale and crunchy round the edges. I could snap bits off. The chicken was dry and overcooked, barely warm. The drumstick was good but the chips and gravy were poor. I didn’t note the exact arrival time but it kept getting delayed before it left KFC. The driver was friendly and quick.

Order from here as it said it was 30 min delivery. As soon as my money was taken it went to an hours wait. Food was delivered 40 mins after original delivery time so it took an hour and 10 mins from placing my order. Will not order from here again. Took too long.

Why do you put the ice cold bottles in the same bag as the supposedly hot food 🤔 it makes me wonder how long you have been in the catering industry and weather you need retraining 🙄
