Just realised I went here instead of another fish and chip shop 🙃 sorry but worst chip I’ve ever had. Was soaking wet with grease and the fish was burnt. It was literally sitting in a puddle of oil on my plate. Disgusting

We placed an order in advance for 17 people. Our order was ready on time and enjoyed by all.

Stopped for chips, which were good as was the mushy peas. Friendly service too.

Fish was burned and soaked in oil, that was the second time here but never again, i am not recommending to anyoane this fish and chips shop, just feeling sick!!!

They do Rock and the wife likes it . Rock was not up to their normal great taste and quality but it's the first one that wasn't brilliant in over 12 months which is why I gave 4 stars. My large cod was just that. Large and I loved it as usual

Had to wait 20 minutes for our order. They where not very busy either. Chips were poor.

Best chip shop for taste and price some more expensive chip shops are a little better but highly recommend battered burgers and battered sausages £1 each

Been using this chip shop for a few months since moving. Haven’t had a bad portion of chips yet! Quick service and always have a decent supply of food ready to go.

Large cod and chips well if u could call them chips was cold no didn't have vineager

Working from home, I suddenly decided today that I didn't fancy the usual sandwich etc.for lunch. Popped out for two medium chips and a sausage, for just under a fiver. Was delicious, and absolutely stuffed us both. Guys in there are always nice and polite.

3 large cod and chips he’d cooked them well before the opening expecting a lock down rush !! Left in the heater too long they were greasy fell through the paper fish tasted old in fact I didn’t eat it and the dog even turned his nose up waste of 20 quid I’ll never use again .... don’t go there Wish I’d had the Chinese next door as he’s always top draw

Dismal portion sizes for the price not impressed now a large seems to be a small, not too good oceans 2.20 for 40 chips is very over priced when you can get them elsewhere for much much less

Have used this fish shop over past 20yrs on and off, although have not for a while. It used to be a real good fish shop with good portions for a decent price and flavoured food. Unfortunately my visit tonight was dissapointing to say the least, at nearly £7 for Medium Cod and Large Chips. When my Husband opened it the so called Cod (Didn't look or taste like cod)it was small, thin and small flakes of tasteless oily fish, the chips were no better dry reheats and tasted like oil...WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AGAIN. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

In the middle here, curry sauce was far too spicy to enjoy and the fish wasn't great. Chips and sausage were good

it was absolutely rubbish, the fish was all floppy and fell apart, and the bloody Chinese lady didn't even ask what size! I wanted medium but I got small, she was more focused on her phone rather than her customer, never going there again! AVOID!!!
