Refused to serve me food even though I was at the bar!!! "You've only got 5 mins" without a table, none available finally got one then had to re que then said "I'd left it to long even though the same guy had seen me waiting and new what I needed. I am diabetic!! So was very difficult for me RUINED my evening thanks a lot!!

Excellent fish and chips! Pie meal was very good too. Friendly service with a smile. We were in the area so very pleased that we chose this place to have lunch.

Visited the restaurant whilst on a short break to the area, and was incredibly impressed. All of the food tasted amazing and was of a very high standard. The starters were impressive, especially the ham croquette, and the portion size was very generous. I can highly recommend the chicken and mushroom main, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the mini pie was sublime. The owners should be very proud of their chefs as they are producing great quality food. The service was also top notch and all staff members were very attentive. And the prices were very reasonable. The only disappointment was that we discovered this restaurant on the last night of our break, otherwise we would have definitely returned for another night. I highly recommend that you support this business.

Our first visit to the restaurant for Sunday Lunch wow really nice tastey food, amazing well proportioned desert. Attentive staff, comfortable seating. Can't wait to return

We are delighted that we have this restaurant reasonably close to us as it always excels and has become a real favourite of ours. Good cocktails, excellent food and impeccable service from an excellent team mean that the place is always busy but that does give it a nice buzz and atmosphere. Some of the tables can be a little close together especially if there is a function using the upstairs space but it’s not too bad.

Try the Thai green curry. The best we’ve ever had!!! Spicey, plenty so nicely presented. Amazing. Great beer too!! Recommended.

We had been on a walk with family & dog in the park to see the river & the Grand Union canal. The weather was good, the café was very busy ... they were very efficient. We sat at one of the picnic tables outside & got our four drinks, three cakes & one toastie served quite quickly, took them to the picnic table & really enjoyed the whole experience. Being one of those English, sunny April days probably helped but if the weather had been poor we probably wouldn't have gone for an hour's walk in the park...

Would give a zero if I could. The so called ‘owner’ came to my door for a delivery which we never ordered we then went round to the left and right next door neighbours and asked if they had ordered food in which both said no. So back onto the kitchen table it went, he then proceeds to come back 45 mins later and aggressively knocks on the window and door asking for the food back and sarcastically saying “ was it nice” “ hope you enjoyed it” thinking we had eaten it clearly looking for an argument we then gave him the food back which at this point had been sitting for over an hour on the kitchen table. He then has the cheek to say I’m going to drop this food off at the right address. (Over an hour too late pal) Not our fault you can’t read numbers on a door buddy. Horrible and rude.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area. What you need for complete relaxation. Nearby fields, great place for long walks. Very well equipped rooms, very nice staff, great restaurant next door. I recommend.

Lovely visit on a Tuesday evening with friends. Dishes on the new menu were delicious- we all had the lamb flatbread and loved it. Service was also good as always. Will be back again soon.
