Chocoberry Café London Road in Leicester

Such a cute place! The ambience was gorgeous and the staff were very sweet! I loved the drinks, especially the Spanish latte:)

It was my first time at chocoberry. I went there around tea time (4pm) so the atmosphere was relatively calm. I l'm not a big fan of using QR code for the menu so I requested if they had a physical menu on hand. The menu had a eclectic choices of deserts to choose from & they were reasonably prices. I chose the San sabastian cheesecake (with chocolate sauce) , which you have to order & pay for at the counter. The service was brilliant with respectful & friendly staff. The space was clean, bright & spacious. BTW the cheesecake & choc sauce was brilliant. I would definitely recommend you try it if you haven't already done so. 😁

We came during the beginning of ramadan, and it was pretty empty and quiet, only us in the pla e to start with, but filled up a bit later on. Food was good filling, and the presentation was good, even though there was a limited menu due to ramadan. The service could of been better, as we had to ask several times for certain things even though it wasnt busy, other than that not bad.

Great place, that serves good coffee and a nice slice of pistachio cheesecake!! Light, delicate and absolutely delicious. Strong espresso and a tasty cappuccino. Great, attentive staff.

Ordered a san Sebastian if this is what leicester people think is a san Sebastian you need to come up north lol. This was so sweet no texture in taste, worst one I've had by far.

UPDATE BELOW Really disappointed, we ordered a Kunafa strawberry cup £10 was the cost, wife was eager to try this after looking at videos online, she was so disappointed as it had barely ANY kunafa in there it was literally filled with just strawberry's and a tiny bit of chocolate and tiniest bit of kunafa, shocking this is day light roberry, I should have said something so they can sort it out but felt awkward - UPDATE - the customer service is great and wanted to help to rectify my issue asap also staff inside the shop are very helpful.

Food is good as usual but they need to get mew workers. One of the waiters couldnt understand simple english. Not a problem but for a workplace i think they should at least understand me speaking especially when im trying to order

They don't serve quality food !! Just pretend to be ... Do not recommend

I had cheesecake yesterday, the tase of the cream was so bad, it looks made not fresh at all , the worst part is they are expensive.

Visited this amazing restaurant today, recommended by my friend and I must say the ambience, desserts and service was excellent.. Was served by this lovely young lady Sydelle..she was approachable and very attentive. Highly recommend!

Centrally located in Leicester City centre on London Road. Chocoberry is busy most of the time. They are favoured by most who fancy breakfast, brunch,lunch, or dinner. Have a good choice from the menu. Staff can be more customer focused. Food is good but the price is well above average compared to their competitors. Small to medium in size. It is not very suitable for people who have accessibility requirements and would require a space lower level of is available Tables and chairs are very close and packed.

Great ambience, wanted to have their pistachio cake but it was unavailable at that moment, so went on with the orginal milk cake and biscoff cake. It was really amazing, would definitely come back for the pistachio one!! Highly recommend.

I went there at 9:35 and waited till 10:00 but no body came to take order or gave menu the lady who was there keep ignoring me. After that manager came and took order but took another 30 minutes to prepare it so i have to do it take away and they gave me the bag without carrier or cup holder. Very disappointed.

I had the viral Dubai kunafah strawberries and the food was lovely and was crispy compared to other places that I have been to. Plus the food here is very flavourful and worth what you’re getting. Personally I love the chicken momos and their creamy chicken pasta. And my server Sivakami was absolutely lovely and helpful!!! She made my experience. So bubbly!

We went in to try the new kunafe cup and was very surprised because we had bad experiences with other kunafe cups that we have tasted recently.this one was crunchy and beautiful.we were also taken care of sivakami who made sure we were comfortable and had things at all times very happy with our midnight cravings 😂

I was new here and I didn't know what to try , but thankfully this pretty waitress , her name was sydelle , suggested to try the waffle bites and I loved it. Good to see pretty waitress,when they be so nice to tourists ❤️ shall visit again for sure for the waffle bites✅

Actually disgusting I found a piece of the can in my beans for the breakfast one time and the manager refused to believe that it was that when it was clearly silver. Didn’t return until a month later today as I usually do come to this branch. Today I’ve come to have brunch at 14:50 and she’s told me there’s no food just desserts and no brunch , asked her on the menu it says till 3pm as I was ready to order immediately and she still refused ,I’ve arrived on the assumption it use to be 4pm but she’s telling me 3pm and it’s still not 3pm ???? I’ve walked out and left because what a waste of time. Her attitude also was disgusting!

I have always enjoyed luxury milkshakes, and this time we ordered some milk cakes and a Dubai cup. Everything was absolutely delicious, and our server, Sivakami, was most helpful in assisting us with our flavor selections and was exceedingly kind and gentle.

Upd 2025 Unfortunately, the service level is lower and lower with every next visit. It's so far away from standards... And very far away from level which one they showed first year after opening. Mango Mousse Cake (£6) is absolutely awful. I would call it for piece of PLASTILINE with mango taste🤢 Highly recommend to visit this new branch🧡 Fresh and delicious food. Good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. I really hope you will be able to save the same high level of customer service in the future🙏 Might be too noisy because of people who are waiting for a table.

We had a lovely breakfast, and the atmosphere is nice. The only problem is that the toilets are currently out of order, and they are not offering an alternative. If you have children, this could be an issue, and it might also be a problem if you want to wash your hands. If you are sensitive about these matters, I recommend being mindful of this.

The food was great, Maa'm Sydelle served us well she was very approachable and had smiling face all time.

Terrible slow service…Messed my drinks order had to change my hot drink 3 times…The Asian female manager is so rude & has no customer service skills & contradicted herself….Ended up talking to the owner of the business who was happy to knock off the hot chocolate off the bill…They messed me about my hot drink and they had the cheek to tell me if I have cream on my hot chocolate id be charged £0.50 it’s about the principal not £0.50 but the owner managed the situation unlike the manager who was as much use as a chocolate teapot

I generally like to leave positive reviews but damn I feel so cheated on this occasion. The place looks good and active inside with nice decor. The desserts looked pretty basic and mostly cheese cake based. I didn’t have to wait long in any queues and the till staff were polite and attentive. The worst bit is I payed £8.50 for the following: I regrettably went for the renowned Chocolate Dream Cake that almost everyone is on the bandwagon of now. It sounded good from their description stating it had sponge and mousse in it. Firstly the portion size is terrible, looking at the depth of the container it is barely half full. The taste and texture..The texture is supposed to be quite firm so you can crack the top layer with your spoon. Too soft. The first bite we were coughing because of how much chocolate powder they put on top! Look at my pic I had to scrape it off.. It’s supposed to be a light, melt in your mouth dessert with a bubbly mousse consistency but this wasn’t the case. Just a sponge cake with cream almost cheesecake type of dessert which is actually what they mostly have on offer. Saying that, their Chef really needs to diversify their “craft”. There is no real pleasant flavour and the overall taste is overpowered by that chocolate powder they caked on-top. We all had a bite and no one was impressed.. This is a typical example of why you should stick to what you know which looks like cheesecakes for them, and NOT jump on the viral bandwagons. £8.50! What a rip-off!

Amazing staff and I love the dessert so much

I had the Desi breakfast here, and it was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The food quality was excellent. The only area for improvement would be handling the queue more efficiently. There was a long line of people waiting to be seated and others trying to pay and leave, which created some confusion. Having additional staff on hand to manage these areas would greatly improve the overall experience. That said, the food was fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The food and service was amazing we got served by Sumit he was soo nice and accommodating. Even though it was so busy the food came really quick. Had an amazing time our favorite was definitely the fire crackers chicken and the waffle bites.

We were served by Sumith and he was a great server no complaints . However, our food were not to the usual quality we get. Waffles were undercooked and pale in colour.

Would like to give a special thanks to Sumit who was our server for a few of our visits, (we went three days in a row hahah) his energy was so contagious and loved how friendly and smiley he was! He was really knowledgeable about everything on the menu and keen on answering questions. Overall the experience at chocoberry was amazing! I can't recommend Chocoberry enough! Despite how busy it was, the service was outstanding. The staff handled everything with a smile, and they were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. A special shoutout to our server, Sydelle, who was attentive and made our experience even better. We ordered the firecracker chicken and parmesan chicken, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were spot on. The restaurant was clean, and the service was impressively efficient. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such high standards even during peak hours. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back!

On London road you’ll find a lot of restaurants…. But trust me if you really wanna go for anything classic still some desi touch in it…. This is the place. It’s ambience ….. staff…. Food everything is just fab. I have been here for two times and everyone in terms of services are too professional especially Maithili…. She’s a star.
