The best restaurants in Leicester East Midlands

We called on Wednesday at 4.45. When my wife said the restaurant was top on Tripadvisor I thought this is going to cost me!… Starter and Main with Drinks £58 for two you couldn’t wipe the smile off my face ..Have the sea bass it’s gorgeous, meatball starter was stunning. To be fair if it had been twice the price I wouldn’t have moaned. The place is romantic, welcoming , the food is exceptional and the staff are unbelievably friendly.A Great reason to visit Leicester. Absolutely brilliant! Don’t think that just because this is a food bar it’s average food, it’s much better than many takeaways in Leicester. I can hands down say that this place is a diamond in the rough of Leicester! The man of the hour is of course our very own Serkan, who we lovingly call Aj, he’s the nicest guy you can meet and very generous as well! If you want to eat at one of the nicest, cleanest and tastiest places in Leicester; this place is for you!

10/10 for nostalgic vibes, went here after work with a few colleagues. The drink I had was nice, we didn’t order food but service and staff were friendly. Its only £2.50 per hour and you don’t realise how quick time goes by and it is definitely good for ice breakers and light hearted competitiveness.

Nice food. Decent location. Service average. Good choice and unusual fusion flavours. Heard they were gonna pack up and call it a day. Shame but not a surprise. It is difficult to make a place this work in this area unless the product and price and service and spot on.

Excellent selection of vegan cakes that are so tasty! Various plant-based milk alternatives are available at no additional cost. Great coffee, cake, staff, and ambience…and it helps support Open Hands, a local charity. Recommend stopping off for a coffee here and you won’t be disappointed.

Very friendly service and excellent food. It was so cold today and they even put a heater on for us. The samosa starters were great too.

He estado en un par de cenas organizadas por un grupo local aquí y he estado muy contento. A veces, proporciona la mejor comida a precios normales. Por lo demás, sigue siendo una cena totalmente agradable y de calidad decente. Jamila at Bakery Delights made two stunning cakes for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, and they were absolutely incredible! One was a mermaid-themed cake and the other a Minion cake, and both were decorated to perfection. The attention to detail was amazing – they looked so beautiful we almost didn’t want to cut into them! Not only did they look fantastic, but the taste was just as impressive. The cakes were moist, flavorful, and we had so many compliments on them. My daughter loved them too! Jamila was also a pleasure to work with – so friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout the process. Thank you, Jamila, for creating such wonderful cakes that made my daughter’s birthday celebrations even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back for future occasions and highly recommend Bakery Delights to anyone looking for stunning and delicious cakes!

This place is fabulous, the drinks were delicious and also quite strong. The food was excellent, I recommend the battered broccoli. The decor is beautiful, the music/ atmosphere was good. The service was outstanding, staff were always checking we had enough drinks and everything was ok. Our server V was great and was happy to help us with our cocktail selections. It’s a must visit bar! We had Bottomless Brunch it was £40 and well worth the money.

Fui aquí por Shisha con un compañero para ponerme al día y fue un terrible error. El servicio era lento e inexistente. El shisha de savacco que pedimos ni siquiera sabía a Savacco y ni siquiera recibió un cambio de carbón cuando solicité uno. Perdí mi dinero y tiempo viniendo aquí y no creo que vuelva a visitarlo.

El mejor café que hemos tomado nunca, no estamos hablando solo en Leicester, estamos incluyendo Londres, Dublín y muchas más ciudades que hemos visitado. ¡El perro amistoso es un bonus!
