Orso in Leicester

Amazing place, one of my favourite places to go for coffee and lunch. Bo is an added bonus. So many options for veggies/vegans and very good at making accommodations for other dietary requirements/preferences. Such lovely staff as well Also an extra bonus for being dog friendly. Love it, love it, love it 🖤

Love to support an independent place .This had a good feel and staff were friendly . However we had a hash that was really misdescribed.First ingredients was oven roast potatoes , first ingredients are usually the main ingredient . They were absent A request bought some chopped up potato and sweet potato .No evidence of roasting though .A hash usually is cooked in a skillet, has some crispy bits which the roast potatoes promised and is not an overly wet dish . The dish we were served was more of a tomato stew with vegetables , with the extras we had chosen .It was tasty but really should have a different name .

Welcoming, organised, clean. Interesting setting with a relaxed vibe. Good range of menu choices catering for dietary needs, of sandwich/toast based sourdough/waffles type dishes and an interesting range of hot drinks. Good freshly prepared and tasty. Very friendly service.

Totally worthy of their continued 'excellent' rating. Great coffee and equally fabulous tasty breakfasts. We had the goats cheese and beetroot on thick sour dough and the chorizo and halloumi hash. Absolutely delicious and lovely friendly staff.

Somehow I didn't seen this before. Finally I found them. I had stunning breakfast and something unique dirty chai (chailatte combined with coffie). Stuff are very frendly and place is nice. Definitely will back hire soon

Popped here for lunch, and what a hidden gem! Service was friendly and welcoming, lovely venue, delicious coffee and the food was fantastic. I had Bacon and poached egg on sourdough toast with the most AMAZING curried ketchup. The only downside.... I had to go back to work!

Great coffee, made perfectly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We didn’t eat but the food looked delicious so we will be back.

Orso does the best matcha lattes I've had anywhere. Nice place to catch up with friends too, or just chill.

Today was our first trip into Leicester since lockdown started in March.Its been very long time since we last sat having a coffee here. We weren't sure how the whole experience would be, but we were greated with a smile and a great choice of hot and cold foods and drink. Despite the decidedly cold weather we had coke floats (throwback to bruccianis) and a slice of rocky road both of which were indulgent and yummy. It's lovely to see that a local independent cafe has weathered the storm and hopefully people will begin to venture into the market place and support this lovely cafe.

I love going to Orso, staff are always so lovely and they serve the best coffee. Chocolate brownies are a must try! Great relaxed atmosphere perfect for catch ups with friends or a coffee break.

popped into Orso after passing by and spotting it as recognised it was Italian for bear - also was keen to support local independent businesses- cute cafe with friendly owners and very welcoming, got a cappuccino, a ginger tea both with a custard cream and cappuccino had a bear shaped chocolate bear and a lovely packaged brownie to take home - highly recommended - no doubt will be a favourite place of many to pop into in the future :)

Without a doubt the best iced late on soya milk and the best avocado bagel I’ve ever had! The staff is really nice and always smiling everything is fresh and made by them. It’s animals friendly, they have a lot of option for vegans and vegetarians! I recommend 100%!

Popped in for a quick coffee and catch up with my friend and received excellent customer service as well as a cheeky custard cream each with our coffees. Definitely try out Orso (they're also dog friendly!)
