Great little independent public house. Benji and the team are fantastic and always make you feel welcome.

Fantastic place to eat and the best first stop on the way to a late night out in town, as within walking distance to town. Owner really lovely and very welcoming, staff so helpful.

We've been to The Bridle Lane a few times since it's been taken over. They have a great selection of veggie and vegan food (don't worry, there's still plenty to satisfy a carnivore) and well priced drinks! I can't stand beer, so I'm a bit of a nightmare at the pub, but the staff were very accommodating and recommended a delicious passion fruit gin. I also sampled several cocktails from their menu, and am a firm fan. There are plenty of board games and card games to play, so it's a great place to come and hangout (I like to bring my unruly housemates, and then beat them at everything) but there is also a strong book collection if you come by yourself and want to have a peaceful pint. I believe, since my last visit, they now have a range of toasted sandwiches, and a pool table (!!) so I will definitely be back soon.

Came down for Vegan Wings night on a Tuesday a couple of weeks after the lockdown reopening. Cracking little pub with an easy, friendly atmosphere, great music and welcoming and helpful staff. The vegan wings and fries, courtesy of a 'takeover' by Dhil's Eats, were delicious! Looking forward to visiting again to check out the hotdogs (meaty or vegan). Family and dog friendly. Outside and inside seating and small car park at the back.

Had a lovely time here on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered 3 children’s meal and a side of chips. The amount of food on the children’s plates were excellent value for money. Thanks for a lovely afternoon

Nice friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere. Excellent food. Varied menu at reasonable prices. Very generous pirtions as well. The steak and ale pie is fabulous. Would certainly recommend it for either a drink or ameal or both.

Great revitalised pub / diner. Nice friendly landlord. Good choice of beverages. The missus is hooked on the coffees here. Great quality fresh tasty food. The grandkids loved. Definitely coming back. A must try venue 😊😊🍸🍻🍝🍝☕
