La Maison Cafe Leicester in Leicester

We ordered the pancakes and eggs benedict. The eggs benedict bacon tasted very fishy so I didn't eat that part. The egg, sauce and buns were really nice though and the pancakes my partner had were delicious! The service was really good and the restruant was clean, also very nice to get emergency services 10% off. I think ice cream should be standard with pancakes OR a stated added extra...the options for the pancakes on the menu were very limited, I.e. for someone who doesn't really want or like fruit. I think the bacon may have tasted fishy because it's cooked on the same grill as the Salmon for the eggs royal? The tater tots that came with the eggs benedict were very nice as well. Hotel chocolate and white hot chocolate were amazingly tasty!

Went with a very dear friend today on a rare catch up . I was made very welcome , food was good , service second to none . I will return, and can highly recommend this establishment and its staff . Thankyou for a lovely experience .

Welcoming staff and importantly polite and respectful. Every table has a buzzer should you need their attention. The food was awesome, top notch and tasted delicious. We came for breakfast and ordered across the category. Coffee can be better, am sure the team will work on this. Overall good value for money and we would be back with friends!!

All I can say it wow!! Me my partner and my son came here. We was served by Ibrahim and Jamal …. We had 2 English breakfasts’ and a little pancake with strawberries. For me it was the BEST ENGLISH BREAKFAST I’ve ever tasted 😂this statement is big for me cos I myself cook up a good one! Everything was season down to the mushroom. Yeah 10/10 would recommend. They were so accommodating to my little boy. Friendly staff, everything we wanted was heard. Yeah thank you!!! I’d come back again

I had a really good experience here. The staff were really friendly. They mentioned having a new burger menu soon, can’t wait to try it out. Waiting time was a bit long but it happens sometimes.

I don’t usually write reviews but this waffle is unforgettable! Went to leceister last year for business, and wandered into this restaurant randomly. Instantly drawn by the waffle in the next table. Got one myself and ended up wolfing down the whole thing. Would definitely go again. Staff also super chill, (James I think) and I had a really nice chat, 10/10 recommend.

It has such a fantastic setting . It is easy parking because you can park right out in front . I loved the food it was delicate and delicious . The food is nice cheap and affordable. The service was nice there was a nice young lady who escorted us to the table and we ate comfortably.

Second time we went there, the food is not terrible pretty good actually but service is just terrible, both times they got our orders wrong I asked for a double shot of express with water or milk on the side, I was given a double shot of expresso with marshmallows on top and boiling hot milk shot next to it, white bread instead of brown as seen on the receipt they added extra stuff then deleted it… And on top of all it was my gf’s birthday so I asked if they do the birthday decoration singing and all( If they would’ve said no I would’ve been ok) Instead they stuck a candle in a desert didn’t say anything threw it on the table and ran away it was rather akward for all of us. Double charged for latte ofc. I am all for new people learning that’s why I was explaining for 3rd time really slow what I wanted, using an ipad to take orders is probably not great if people want to change their food or ask for specific things done in a certain way. Overall terrible decided to give it a second chance not going there again, terrible!!! 😢

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Full breakfast for 5 people came to a whopping £80! £3 for one small glass of drink £3 for tea £3 for orange juice None was included in the breakfast for £12.99 I bet chaiwala is cheaper! They only take cash. Breakfast wasn't Upto scratch either. I am going to add a few more things after the response You are correct in singing that the prices are clearly displayed but we got far less than what we paid for. You would expect that for 12.99 drink is included. I have never known anybody in the right mind to sit at a table Scan a QR code and then leave when the prices are too high. At that point it is too embarrassing to leave the. The only thing you do is not visit again which is the best option we have the future £3 for a drink is way to excessive considering we have already paid you 12.99 for the breakfast. £3 for a bottle of water? At that rate it's more expensive than petrol or diesel.

We had breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. The food choices were plenty. The food was excellent. The young waiter Zakia(?) was brilliant at her job. The place was very clean. The decor could be updated and there could have been more seating places available. Overall highly recommended
