Humberstone Park Cafe in Leicester

Visited on Sunday with my siblings for breakfast. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be visiting again.

Do not work here, they are so rude, worst people to work with, I will be making a complain.

Fabulous cafe situated in a very pretty park. They do a great breakfast , good value with quality ingredients. I also love the lunches as there is a good choice and a range of daily specials including an amazing home made lasagne. The Sunday lunches are superb ( you need to book as they are popular). Very friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. My favourite place to eat.

Walked in. Sat down. No one interested for 5 minutes to then be told last orders in 5 minutes. Go to order to then be told cash only. Walked out.

Such a great café with ample parking. Very cosy especially in the Winter with the real fire roaring. Excellent customer service with a smile and fabulous home made meals especially Sunday/Christmas lunches and to top it off a leisurely walk around the park afterwards 😊

Parking at the back can be difficult to access because of busy A47 junctions. Been using it for years and no dents yet. Eat in or al fresco. Good British meat and 2 veg menu. Pleasant staff. Reasonably priced. Pensioner haven.

We have been a couple of times with family and enjoyed it both times. Wonderful service, the food was hot and really nice. The staff worked really hard and couldn’t do enough for the customers. Will definitely be coming again :)

Visited this lovely cafe this week. It was takeaway only due to covid 19. Very safe and clean. The cakes looked amazing as did the smoothies but I decided to have a sausage cob and a cuppa both of which were lovely. Myself and my hubby enjoyed having our food and drinks on the park. Highly recommend.

We have had several breakfasts and lunches throughout the summer months and have never been disappointed. The food has always been cooked to a high standard and the service has always been friendly and efficient. Today, we tried the Sunday roasts for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed them. The lamb and pork were both tender and tasty. We definitely recommend visiting the cafe and we look forward to many more visits. We also love their sense of community and coming together!

Lovely little cafe at just outside the park. Always had the all-day breakfast here. Cakes are always delicious. Cash only if you need to come here.

Tired old cafe, poor food, dirty place

We visited for lunch. 2 of us had the home made pie which was fabulous; made in a huge tin, proper home made short crust pastry and a big portion. Perfect for a cold February day. We have visited a couple of times now. The staff are very friendly especially Tom the owner. The free parking is a real bonus. Definitely worth a visit. Make sure you're hungry.

We popped in after a walk around the park. We had the homemade lasagne which was delicious, the coleslaw was excellent and my little one was happy with her order. Was really welcoming and cosy with the real fire and the lady who served was polite and friendly. Definately will be returning

Some staff not too sure how to be customer friendly with the disabled and people from the ethnic communities other staff are friendly and very helpful, nice location and clean outside seating also useful on the hot summer days

Used to go there years ago when we went back it was still lovely and good for a drink and a bite to eat

The best cafeteria in the Midlands. Very friendly service which is almost always very prompt and with a smile too. The food is always cooked fresh to order. Best for all day breakfasts and home style cooked meals. Also vegetarian friendly as the fryers for vegetarian meals are separate to the meats. Little wonder why the owners have a big regular clientele list.

Lovely home cooked Sunday lunch, nothing processed, good location , friendly atmosphere from booking the table to paying the bill . Shame we couldn’t order the weather☔️ . Well done humberstone park cafe , definitely worth a visit, we will see you again soon for sure Anita and Andy Clarke

Is fine fine small walks and has a childrens play area attached. It also has some wildlife but you do need to look hard for it. There ate plenty of shops near by and is on a bus route.

Eat here quite often, never been let down. Nice to have simple unfussy food. Always good excellent service too.

I grew up going to this park and going to the cafe there always makes it even more enjoyable. There bacon sandwich was brilliant.

Cafe is lovely good food and service

Great park for anything and everything from walk a run or just quiet contenplation. Also has bowling and for the yoynger fitter of you tennis oh dont forget the outdoor excercise gyms theres two of them.. To top it offits all free except the bowling i think that will be members only but go see it may also be pay an play..

Lovely place. We sat outside aa it was a lovely day. Food was lovely. Will be going again for sure. Also dog friendly which is a bonus.

The staff are always so friendly and talkative, the food is of a great quality and always absolutely delicious. The home made cakes look fantastic, unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try one yet!

Pleasant cafe freshly cooked food chatty staff

Had a beautiful 2 couse Christmas dinner. Main was lovely with fresh home grown vegatables. Pudding was beautiful too home made sherry with lashing of sherry and a festive crumble. Top quality food for a very reasonable price. Many thanks to the staff and merry Christmas

popped in today for a hot meal and drink to find it very festive, with tempting home made cakes,biscuits etc so we ordered a Christmas dinner 1 course. We were served by a very polite young lady, we had the pleasure of a lovely real log fire crackling away on a very chilly afternoon, it was clean and very cosy, when our meals arrived they defo didn't disappoint. roast turkey, roast parsnips, roast potatoes,Yorkshire pudding, pigs in blankets, Stuffing,seasonal veg all topped with Bisto gravy and a side portion of cranberry sauce. tasting as though they had all been cooked fresh. Not a frozen item used even the Yorkshire pudding was home made. It was so nice my business associate was groaning as he just wanted to go to sleep and i couldn't eat it all but didn't want to waste it. Served food like you used to get cooked on a sunday by your mum or granny. Other customers seems happy and contented with their food too.. If you want a top notch xmas roast i would defo recommend you visit this cafe. Set at the entrance to Humberstone Park which is a lovely place to take the children to play or go for a lovely walk you won't be dissappointed. I will be back.

Refused to warm beans on the hob & would only microwave them & in his own words to save washing up & this was his policy & if I didn't like it I should find somewhere else. All I would like to know is, where is the café's customer service?????
