The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Leicester East Midlands

Thought we’d give Mitsuki a try after seeing the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, everything was delicious! Definitely will be back!

The food is phenomenal, maybe the best I’ve ever had. The chef is super friendly, fantastic service. For the quality of the food, the prices are so beyond reasonable. Specially the chicken katsu curry bowl and the softshell crab hand roll are amazing. 10/10

I go to this place nearly every time the people who work there are sooo friendly and my family all know their names ! The food is delicious food! i recommend the kimchi chicken soup with udon noodles if u like spicy, the miso soup, any bento box, the vegetable Katsu with sweet potatoes with it, the chicken katsu ,the avocado sushi, the sweet potato sushi as it comes, the prawn sushi and the chicken gyoza . Please go there it is the best restaurant i ever went to !!!

La comida y el personal general estaban bien, sin embargo, después de haber pagado por nuestra comida y salir, el gerente vino corriendo tras nosotros y en medio de la calle nos acusó de no pagar por nuestra comida y salir. Le corrigí y le dije que habíamos pagado a otro miembro del personal que había recibido el pago. En esto sólo parecía confundido y se fue, sin disculpas ni nada ... Al gerente, como algunos comentarios generales puedo recomendar que compruebe los hechos antes de agotar los clientes que pagan en el futuro!

Poor,poor ,poor show. What a rip off, 1 chicken tender, 1 wing (cold and flabby greasy skin), tiny portion of cold fries and cold corn on cob for £13.50, oh and a spoonful of coleslaw. Where was the nori tinsel ,whatever that may be .

¡Los peores Waga del planeta! ¡Somos una familia que ama Waga’s pero Leicester es un verdadero agujero! Está sucio, desordenado, la comida no está ni cerca del estándar de Waga’s normales. Ninguna de las comidas es el estándar de ningún otro Waga que he visitado. Desafortunadamente para nosotros, este es nuestro Waga local y también es deficiente por mucho ¡Lo único bueno de este restaurante es Michael! ¡Fin de! Necesito aprender a dejar de venir aquí ya que es basura

I visit the place very often, but the service this time was disappointing. The portion size, especially the curry sauce, was much smaller than what I’m used to. While my meal was being prepared, I requested more sauce, but the staff didn’t accommodate my request. Later, when I ran out of sauce with 3/4 of my bowl still left, I asked for more. Although they added some, I was told they don’t encourage this, which was frustrating. Additionally, when we asked for more tissue papers, the staff face went like she is giving her fortune. Overall, this experience was disappointing compared to past visits.

I always recommend this place to friends and family. Such great food, and the staff are so friendly - the service is amazing.

Jacob provided great service, and made sure we were happy with our food and kept us up to date on when food would be arriving.

DO NOT GO HERE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Went on sat evening during a lunch break w/a colleague. The girl serving us was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. After my colleague politely asked wait time + tried to explain we were in a rush , she spoke to us with complete disdain saying ‘it’ll take as long as it needs to, i have loads of other orders to do’. We tried to ask again for a rough time in minutes and she looked us up and down saying ‘how am I supposed to know?’. Can’t fit it all in one review but we were embarrassed in front of the whole store and upset by her dismissive demeanour. We will be taking our custom to laytea where they ACTUALLY care about their customers, I’d advise everyone to do the same!
