Ordered a delivery through uber eats at 8.30pm and delivery was scheduled at 9.15pm. At 9.05pm I received a call from uber eats that the Yo's kitchen is under construction and my order is cancelled. I had to make alternative arrangements to get food. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional.

This food definitely is not Japanese....more like McDonald's in disguise! 😒 I was excited to see online a apparently Japanese food establishment to use at lunchtime for a hot meal to take away....Everything , which is about 3 different version of the same thing is covered in breadcrumbs and dropped in fat......two dishes not covered in breadcrumbs were chicken and salmon teriyaki these dishes are covered in a high fructose sickly sauce nothing of a true Japanese taste or of any taste whatsoever other than sugar. When I asked why they sell nothing hot that vaguely resembles Japanese food like a tofu dish the server told me British people wouldn't eat real Japanese food....this is insulting and as they only sell high glucose /fatty dishes how do they know customers wouldn't buy healthy Japanese food.....it's not like the food they sell is cheap...massive cost to the customer and the food isnt close Japanese .....it was a vile bowl of over cooked rice and the worse teriyaki salmon I've ever tasted. Avoid ...if you want chicken in breadcrumbs dropped in fat go to chicken place's....at least they are cheaper and not pretending it's healthy or something else. Trading standards should look at the prices and food description and fine this business for lying and deceiving the public.....

DO NOT GO HERE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Went on sat evening during a lunch break w/a colleague. The girl serving us was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. After my colleague politely asked wait time + tried to explain we were in a rush , she spoke to us with complete disdain saying ‘it’ll take as long as it needs to, i have loads of other orders to do’. We tried to ask again for a rough time in minutes and she looked us up and down saying ‘how am I supposed to know?’. Can’t fit it all in one review but we were embarrassed in front of the whole store and upset by her dismissive demeanour. We will be taking our custom to laytea where they ACTUALLY care about their customers, I’d advise everyone to do the same!
