It’s my most favourite place to go in the world! sushi is my all time favourite food and I recommend no other place over this!

We've been coming here for a few years, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is always nice. It is overpriced, but our kids enjoy the novelty of the food on the belt and pressing the button for attention so its a nice treat.

Good quality food. Some concerns about hygiene. Value for money - average , expensive. Some dishes were cold, to be served hot.

This was my first time visiting a Yo Sushi but I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was lovely and clean and the staff were all very nice. Will definitely visit again when in the area!

Admito que creo el concepto de Yo-Sushi es genial, pero la rama leicester deja de ejecutar. A menos que vas en un día que tiene una oferta en los platos, creo que me he dejado bastante hambre incluso después de pasar 20 libras por cabeza. Algunos de los platos son sabrosos, pero no es un lugar para cenar en frecuencia. El servicio era bueno cuando nos acercamos.

Si te apetece un sushi bastante bueno y una experiencia diferente, este es el lugar. Me encanta yo! Sushi, es muy asequible, con mucha variedad y sushi fresco.

Yo! Sushi in Leicester is my favourite place to eat!!! So much variety and is great value on Blue Monday's (which is every Monday) where all plates on the belt are £2.80! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the service is very quick and efficient! Well worth a visit!!

As I'd never tried Sushi before, I took my girlfiend to try this restaurant from being recommend it by a friend. When entering we were taken to our seats next to the conveyerbelt which had many dishes all colour coded in terms of price going along it. We were briefed by a member of staff on how the restaurant works including being told to press a buzzer which plays a rather funny Japanese voice out on the speakers to call the staff to our table number. There was soy sauce, wasabi, chop sticks, napkins, and taps for water at the table, however I decided to order a Japanese citrus juice drink and use just soy sauce on my sushi which I ordered to finish off. Overall I would say it is a unique dining experience that is highly enjoyable.

I've been coming to yo sushi since I was 12 and I'm now 19. Just wanted to write a review saying how impressed I was that the quality and consistency of the food has stayed the same throughout the years. The staff are always pleasant and it's nearly always quick service. I would say that it can be a little costly for the portions but over all a really great little place and I frequently visit for a quick bite which I know will be tasty and good quality!

Food was inedible. Sauce was curdled when I complained they said it was ok. It is not ok. Just eat dealt with it fabulously.

Shocking service, DO NOT ORDER!!!! Waited over 2 hours for food, appalling customer service from manager. Told us 4 times food was on the way which he lied about. When food arrived it was stone cold, when rang manager he hung up! Worst take out I have ever experienced! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!

Delivery time was reasonable but the driver phoned to say he was here and then when we got to the door he waited in the car outside expecting us to get the food from him instead of coming to the door. When we got the food in the forgot the chips with my chicken, then the burger tasted like washing up liquid. Now I'm all for hygiene but not soap in mouth. probably wouldn't order again the best thing was the chips we got with the burger. Waste of £17

I've ordered the lamb tagine before and it was really nice but this time it lacked flavour and the rice was really hard. The croutons in the chicken Caesar salad were really soggy, the chicken was dry and the Caesar dressing tasted weird. First and last time I will order the salad.

I've been eating at yo sushi a number of years! I've eaten at yo! in many cities from Nottingham to London but Leicester is my local :) Food is always great! Fresh (although maki could be bigger) and I always get seated ASAP The staff remember what I have each time I go in and chat in a friendly manner (Avocado maki x2California hand rollMiso soup Water)>< The manger always goes the extra mile :) I'm always looked after. Got charged for delivery when my order was over £10 why

Special burger was soggy. The meat didn't seem fresh. Spag Bol was spicy & incredibly greasy. Gutted as we normally really enjoy the food from here. :(

Very disappointed, the whole meal was just pure salt . Couldn't eat any of it . I will not be ordering from here again .

Waited 2 hours for the food, ordered a salad for work tomorrow. The lasagne was spicey and greasy the mince was white. The salad I ordered was hot and saturated in 'ceasar dressing' the croutons soggy and the chicken OK. The chips and bread were nice though, thankfully so I had something to eat. Have to go and buy another salad for work now I would not recommend the salad or lasagne the chips and bread were nice. Sorry I won't be ordering from here again, especially after phoning to enquire where my order was the man barked yes its on its way. Very unsatisfied customer, wasted £15 on this food

Well first of all the delivery was over 40 minutes late and when I called up the person on the phone was blunt and didn't seem to care. The food was okay: Chips - hardly received any, I'd say about 1/4 of a portion.. Pasta (penne ariabatta) - pasta was a bit dry and sauce was extremely spicy but overall was good. Omelette baguette - good. Burger - good. Besides from the delivery and chips I'd say it was a good overall experience.

I have ordered from Fresco on a regular basis and to date it has been to a exceptional standard! Food arrives hot and you can tell that they use fresh ingredients! To date everything I have ordered from the menu has been amazing! Would definitely keep on ordering and the staff that work at this establishment are very polite and friendly! 10/10! For service and Quality of food!!

I was given a delivery waiting time of 45 minutes and was surprised to find that the food was delivered within 20. The food was hot and really fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed it. it was such a lovely alternative to other takealways and the creamy mussels were absolutely delicious.

Nicest thing I've ordered from JustEat. Chicken Princess was spot on. Beats a greasy pizza any day!

the hounmous wasnt bad, the garlic mushrooms was ok, the mains - fish with couscous and burger and chips was bloody awful, the delivery was a bit late was nearly 10pm, not to mention the amount of wind we experienced :o :o !!!!! wouldnt order again unfortunetly, we was so hungry we couldve eaten a horse!

Food was horrendous. The burger bun was stale, the chips were soggy. On the plus side the can was nice and cold. Pity it was drank on an empty stomach as the food was binned!

The food was fresh well presented and very tasty. Delivery time about 40 minutes. A couple of mistakes, brought only one drink when I ordered two and the hummus didn't have bread with it.

I waited 1hr 30min for initially delivery and they sent the wrong food. Made all the worse that I had ordered vegan friendly food, gave specific instruction about it - and they sent me lamb. I appreciate that people make errors though and they sent a swap. Still - 2:20 minutes after ordering and my food arrived. Vegetarian Tagine wasn't great, falafel mass produced and over cooked, but salad was fresh. Maybe a winner with lamb dishes etc but not great for vegetarians, vegans or customers who like to eat what they actually order. Good effort though. Cheers.

The burger was more like a spice burger than a beef burger, just tasted a bit off. Apart from that, all delicious and delivery was really quick.

I ordered for over 2 hrs ahead, however the driver turned up after 45 mins, then had cooked it straight away. Actually wasn't a problem but lucky I was at home at that point. The staff should be aware to read the tickets properly, looks like this has happened to someone else. Otherwise, all the food was absolutely delicious.

This was the first time I have ordered from Fresco but it certainly won't be the last. The food arrived quickly and was clean, fresh and hot. For starter I had hummus and bread - the portion was very generous, the hummus obviously home made - really very good indeed. For main, I had lamb with vegetables and couscous. This was absolutely exceptional- a huge portion, flavoursome and tender lamb, fluffy couscous. For dessert, baklava - crisp, sweet and buttery. I really can't recommend this place enough - huge portions, delicious restaurant quality food and excellent value for money. Plus, something totally different from the usual takeaway burgers and kebabs. If you're in any doubt, just try it - you won't regret it. Outstanding!

Most of meal was fine - however chicken fillet burger was squashed and soggy and left an after-taste - unpleasant. The rest was very nice though. Our largest issue was with the delivery service - time was spot on but not only were are delivery instructions (access to flat) ignored but driver was rude and agressive.

Fabulous food as always. highly recommend this place. Nice generous portions and reasonably priced. Never had a bad order, and we order a lot from here! Keep up the great work! :)

The food seemed to take an age to arrive, asked for cheese in the wrap but didn't get it(not so bothered) but the food itself was the let down, the burger was falling apart and undercooked, tasting like it was covered in peppercorns. The chicken wrap may as well have been a tomato wrap which was falling apart and just tasted horrible. even the mayonnaise was watered down, wont be ordering again.

We LOVE this place. Ordered from it before on just eat. We order about 3 times a week from Fresco. Have yet to be disapointed in the food and we've ordered nearly everything on the menu! Great food, great service, friendly staff. Really can't rate this place high enough. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Order now! You won't be disapointed! :) keep it up Fresco!

Been here alot since it opened a few years back its slowly going down hill and todays was awful sushi tasted real bad ramen noodles hard and all stuck together waitress rude took wrong orders and forgot to bring our drinks, i paid the bill then complained to the manager as didnt give me the chance before and his respinse to my complaint oh ok !!!!! Not even a sorry! Wont return theres better sushi around

A real shame as i visit here a lot. Ordered a Fishcake Ramen and has to ask a waitress to check for this twice. I then overheard one of the kitchen staff say that it had never been ordered. So i then reordered it again but when it arrived it was a Chicken Ramen. I ate it anyway as i was starving by this point and it tasted damn good..............will be back to try the fishcake one tho.

Great food, can be costly, but good for a night out with friends.... I'm not a sushi fan but there's lots of other options. For those who don't like sitting at a bar, the one in Leicester has really nice booths at the back.

Yo in leicester used to be my go to restaurant. Even though it was expensive it always used to feel worth it. Steadily the quality of my visits has declined and the last time i went i wasn't impressed in the slightest. When we got there a waitress literally said "sit where you want and i will come over with some menu and take drink orders" we sat at the bar and 15 minutes later still hadn't had menus. People arrived after us and were sorted and were eating. We couldnt easily call and ask for menus as the call button wasn't working. Quite a few of them in this restaurant don't work.The food was edible but not as good quality as it used to be in my opinion and the high cost of the food now doesnt reflect the quality of both the food and service (or lack of) that you now get

Any self respecting Japanese person would not eat here. Not one indigenous chef on the premises. Still quite busy as poor choices otherwise in Leicester for Oriental cuisine. Quite expensive for what you get. The wasabi and ginger is hygienically suspect as diner after diner uses it and they stick their chopsticks directly into it. The conveyor belt system has certain food items on it for ages and is definitely not fresh. Handled quite a bit by others who want to have a look at it and then put it back on the belt. Some items are freshly made though. Not bad though for a quick bite though getting a sushi box from a supermarket is just as good and probably cheaper. The green tea is a disgrace as it is sooooo watered down. Still once again desperate subdued customers aching for variety away from a pub lunch keep quiet and stomach what really is unacceptable food masquerading as Japanese cuisine. Fall ill at your own peril.

I do live sushi but have never been a fan of the "conveyor belt" system, I don't like the way that people can pick stuff up and put it back after handling what may end up to be my dinner. The food was nice enough but I found it to be overpriced for what you get.

This is your typical rotating sushi joint, but the difference here is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They were out of a few items we requested, so the waitress gave us her staff discount by way of apology and willingly gave us directions for our next destination. We were very inpressed.

yo sushi Leicester in major decline,food has become stale,dry & inedible,this time 3 of us have been ill since Saturday,instead of complaining and at worst being offered a voucher to go again weve decided to leave it be and take yo sushi off the eating map in Leicester,,how it can get this bad???

There wasn't very much choice on the belt and the fish didn't taste fresh. The place was a bit dusty.

Yo! Sushi is awesome, the dishes go around on belts and then you choose your one, you have water taps on your table. You also have a buzzer that you hit to talk to the staff with, they come over to you, then you can order something you want. Yo! Sushi is the only Sushi bar that I can eat at that is nut free, which is amazing, I love it, its so delious, good facilities, and the people are always helpful, maybe a little expensive, but so worth it!

The dishes are really small and if you take your teenagers in there for something to eat it would cost a fortune as some of the dishes are £4 each and not much there,so good for a very light snack but not for a meal.

For people who have never eaten in this sushi chain, you will be seated side to side facing the kitchen staff who prepare the food in front of you. The food is passed along on a conveyer belt. My first concern was that the food may not be fresh as it could be toddling along for a while but they do put times of prep on the bowl. The food is priced per bowl and ranges between £1.80-£5 and you will probably need around 3-4 for a lunch meal. To gain the waitress attention you press a (embarrassingly loud) buzzer. The service is of that manic enthusiasm kind. The food was ok especially nice was the hot dishes although we were probably missing the point of sushi! The chef got us the easier child chopsticks as we were having trouble (I am now determined to learn!) very average experience overall

Not sure if we picked the wrong day but not impressed at all. Wouldn't go again. Slow service by waiters who didn't even look at you because they were too busy talking to each other, and the food seemed to come straight out a tin

My friend took and i loved it! depending on what day you go you can get all the plates at a lower price and students can register for discounts. after my first time i've been taking all my friends and family who also love it. the puddings are really nice as well. most people i take seem to love being able to grab their own food of the belt and you can order anything of the menu if its not in the belt and also have hot food.

I go to yo! sushi reasonably often and always enjoy my visit. I make sure that I always go on the sumo Sunday where it is all you can eat. This way you can be more adventurous and try plates you wouldn't normally choose. Food is always extremely tasty and well prepared. I always have the miso soup and green tea to accompany the sushi which is lovely.Was a bit disappointed that the sumo Sunday has been increased to £19.50, excludes the grey plates and Now you are limited to a 1 hour sitting. Otherwise it's still lovely and a great experience. The decoration, atmosphere and belt system is all fun and adds to the experience. I have always found staff friendly and helpful. All in all the only sushi restuarant in Leicester and worth a visit. What is ridiculous is people leaving negative reviews on trip advisor because they don't like sushi. Utter stupidness.

I love yo sushi. I know, an odd thing to say given the review. They USED to be a great place to eat. So there it is....The food there used to be plentiful, well prepared and delicious. I used to go a lot and I used to spend stupid amounts there. Lately, and on my latest visit, however - the quality of the food has taken a dive. The food is not as well prepared, it is not as nice and I have found myself sending dishes back. Common faults include shell left on prawns, fatty nasty cuts of beef and fatty nasty cuts of salmon. The staff there are always wonderful, really nice people and I have never been able to fault them - but the decline in the quality of the food is letting them down and at the price - I and they deserve better. I hope the quality improves, because I cannot tolerate another visit where a dish has to go back.
