Nice food. Decent location. Service average. Good choice and unusual fusion flavours. Heard they were gonna pack up and call it a day. Shame but not a surprise. It is difficult to make a place this work in this area unless the product and price and service and spot on.

Been here a couple of times and love it. Fairly priced and excellent piping hot food both times. Staff were lovely too. Sat in for the second visit and it was great experience being served very quickly.

honestly i’ve tried at least 6-8 separate times to dine at this restaurant and each time the atmosphere was extremely awkward with who i believe might be the owner or manager, staring you down or rushing you which with all the people i’ve come to this restaurant did not appreciate. this always been an issue but the food is quite nice although for all the soups there will always be what i believe is narutomaki and seaweed that will obviously taste like or smell strongly of fish which neither does it specify on the menu so there’s not really ways to know what you order even if you look online, for this i ended up a few times pay extremely a lot when the food wasn’t of my liking while also being rushed to either leave or finish up the food quickly by those who work there. also I don’t want to mention this but other restaurants usually would have some songs or radio to not be so quiet inside the restaurant but oppa restaurant never had such thing which again makes the atmosphere unpleasant and awkward

Ordered a take away had ribs and wings £18 two old dry meat wings with stale batter and few bits of ribs more bone than meat and dry with a few onions carrot and chilly pepers and chips are dry and cold what a waist of money . Never again 😳🤮

For staple food, I ordered noodles with soy sauce, casserole with tomato and beef rice noodles, casserole with chicken rice noodles, braised beef noodles, beef jerky noodles, and stir-fried chicken noodles. All kinds of noodles are very good and have a good texture. They are more like the taste of northern restaurants. The side dishes are very spicy and have a unique taste

Authentic Shanghainese cuisine also has a Cantonese flavor. I like its spicy stir-fried large intestine, boiled beef, pork belly and chicken soup and lamb scorpion. There are few places in the UK where you can get more authentic taste and dishes. The price is reasonable and the portions are generous. The service attitude is very friendly!

Best place ever. Ignore the bigots and haters. They have no quality taste in proper quality food. Lovely staff and great food!

Delicious food, large portions, quick service

Been loyal customer for years this place has gone right down hill, shopping around for a new Chinese now as this place is a waste of money... fumming im a vegetarian for 25 years and they sent me meat food I bitten into it and consumed the meat. Went round and had to argue for over and hour to get my money back they didn't care and was very unprofessional never will I eat from here again

Edit I've took it down because I'm struggling to find it open when I want a takeaway and especially as I have dietary requirements my choices of takeaway are extremely limited as it is and to find the one and only shut all the time is disappointing Found on Facebook gluten free takeaway and so glad I did it's put Chinese back on the menu, it was all clearly labelled, all gluten items wrapped up so it couldn't contaminated the gluten free food, they was so helpful most of there menu can be gluten-free too so things like chicken balls and chew main that I've not been able to have I could

Surprise family meal for 11 of us for my brothers 60th birthday. Mike and Lynne,we couldn’t thank you enough, your staff were polite,smiling, all worked together bringing a first class afternoon for our family. Food was amazing, chef did a fantastic job, served hot, all together, everyone said their meals were delicious, even the kids ate more than they usually would, and the greens lol. After everyone had gone home, we both went for a walk round Foxton, beautiful village, but do carry a torch, as no lamp posts, so walking a little tricky in the pitch black. Made it back to the pub though, had a couple more before bed, and a lovely chat with Mike the landlord,so much knowledge, and then joined by Landlady Lynne and Oscar serving behind the bar. The end of a perfect day. Room was perfect, snug, warm, clean, and so quiet had a really good nights sleep. Then breakfast, well absolutely beautiful, no grease at all, everything cooked to perfection as the meals yesterday, by a very talented young chef. Thank you agin, for a real gem of a place.
