OMG ordered spare rips in BBQ sauce, it was red tasted very salty no taste of BBQ. Washed rips off and gave it to the dog at least the dog enjoyed the rips. Had chilli chips with it....it was more than a salat too many carrots and onion I spotted a few chilli's very tasteless as chips arrived in plastic container very soggy. Thank you but never again.

First time ordering but won't be ordering again 💯. Delivery was quick but house fried rice VERY BLAND spare ribs okish prawn crackers VERY TASTELESS

We have just had the most tasty food as usual delivered this evening, it was fresh and hot on arrival as usual and always free snacks included with our order. Delivery was quick and polite. The best Chinese food i have tasted so far. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Happy family. X

Never had a bad takeaway from here. The last one we had was particularly good - our 'test' being how crispy the Crispy Beef dish is and it was great last time (not chewy). All dishes seem reasonably priced too.

On sunday night as a payday treat We ordered House Chow Mein, House Egg- Fried Rice , BBQ Spare Ribs, Chips, Prawn Crackers, for £25 Free Spring rolls. Friendly Family Business, Polite service, Lovely Food Cooked freshly as I waited. Food Packaged nicely to take to away.

ATTENTION FOOD POISONING USED TO BE MY LOCAL im pregant and this is so dangerous for me and my poor baby to be like this i rang all i wanted was an apolagy for them giving me food poisoning 😫 no sympathy at all for me or my family as im not the only who struck ill and was abusive on the phone being defensive instead of thinking about how to correct the situation think ill be going CHUNGS chinese from now on. AWFUL

Decided to try Happy Family after my regular takeaway went downhill massively, all i can say is, where have i been for the last 14 years, the food was plentiful, piping hot and very flavourful, so this will definitely be my new choice of chinese, plus ALL the staff i spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful, thanks guys for a great meal.

This is the only place I get my Chinese takeaway in Leicester. Good portion sizes and excellent food. Great delivery also.

I ordered yesterday for 6pm. The food was okay, fantastic flavours and reasonably priced. The chicken chow main was great, could tell it was cooked to order. However, the meats like the half a duck, lemon chicken and sauced ribs were really overcooked. It was probably pre-made, I don't mind if foods are made beforehand, but the meats were over done. Although there are many choices, I feel as though there should be less so that they can cook to perfection, it will help them and the taste would be better for customers. I recommend the chow mein and pancakes overall, onwards and upwards!

Great food, loads of choice, lovely people and extremely clean. Very effective operation - phone ahead and they will give you a time. Duck chow mein is awesome!

Today my family tried your food today for the 1st time. We loved every bit of it. Even you put some spring rolls in the order they were gorgeous.i want some more. Definitely come back to you again.

Had a meal from here last night.We hadn't had a takeaway for months and decided to have a treat. As a test for future reference i ordered the set meal for 2 and a hot & sour soup. All awful and just gloop..we will not be ordering from here ever again.

Food was disgusting there was hair in the rice and the chow main the bbq sauce was that thick it won't drip of the spoon and when rang to complain they asked us to take the food back from out of our dust bin and when we returned the food they still won't refund us DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Awful food don't bother there's much better Chinese takeaway around the area. Rang and complained and no offer of money back just offered a discount. Rice was dry and chips were like pencils. BBQ sauce very salty and food dishes very bland no taste. Very disappointed not for me thanks.

Nothing was good. Undercooked, watery, no flavour. The chopsuey was like a load of stir-fry veg only just cooked and an oxo in water poured in, no other flavour at all. You can snap the chips, the rice is like rubber and cold in the middle. Fried mushrooms are not fried and again oxo water. BBQ sauce very very salty. Phoned them and all they could say is sorry and they would give us a discount on our next order, like I'll ever go back there. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

When I first used this Chinese takeaway it was hot witch was quite good but my dad couldn't eat all of it so anyway I told him to throw it all away but then he said he don't like things being wasted and then in the morning he went in the fridge to get his plate of what he'd ate he says no leave it it doesent look right

I went after 10pm and they where open. The food was cooked to perfection and I still had some left over for the next day. Taste was great.

Always takes longer than the 45 minutes they say and when you ring back to ask about your order a very rude lady says ‘what do you want me to do about it’ - talk about customer service!!!!

Food was ordered at 6pm. Was told it would be with us at 7.45pm. I phoned back at 8pm and our food still had not been cooked, told it would be with us for 8.30pm. Food finally arrived at 9pm after ringing up and complaining for a 3rd time. Always used this chinese but NEVER AGAIN !
