Absolutely love this place, I come here regularly with my partner. My favourite is the XO noodles (not here in the picture but delicious dry noodles if you won’t want the soup). Also highly recommend the spicy fried chicken and the crispy seaweed rolls filled with vermicelli noodles. Always delicious food and the loveliest woman in the reception. Love it here so underrated!

Holy smokes…very good ramen here! £8.90 for a big bowl of tasty beef & veg ramen. Good broth. Good noodles. If ramen is your thing stop reading and go!

What a great find! The food is amazing for such an incredibly cheap price. Service a but slow but polite and friendly. I highly recommend! I myself will go back often to try all that they offer. The fried chicken is super yummy! Cash payment only.

A cute little shop tucked in the corner of Haymarket. Very authentic dishes. I definitely recommend the lamb skewers, meat is very tender. The chicken and mushroom rice bowl is also a must try.

Easy to choose numbered large menu on the wall. Cooking time about 10/15 minutes. No toilet or basin unfortunately. Food quite tasty.

I love this place, proper food for good prices. Can get busy on weekends but I tend to get takeout after-work. I've been trying to get friends and family to try the place out as I've been raving about how good it is to them. (It will happen the place has either been busy for the group of us or it was the Thursday when they are shut)

Ordered and paid for my food, even waited for 40mins before asking about my order before the waitress asks me to change my order because apparently its sold out? Like you could have told me that earlier instead of making me wait so long for nothing! Never coming back.

Some of the best food I have ever had. Me and my wife go multiple times every month. We are never disappointed by the food and it is all authentic and home made!! Also the staff are lovely and so kind to us each time.

The noddle is really hand made and taste just about perfect. I always amazed by their hand made noddle. There are so many ingredients in dishes as well. Again,my favourite shop.

I love this shop as the noddle is handmade and flavour is authentic Chinese cuisine. This is a must eat shop. If I go to town, this is my only lunch choose. The eating environment is very good and clean. I never spot any dirt. I really love their food, a must go place.

I've only ever had this dish there because it is so good. Portion size is huge too. The lady who always serves us is lovely, service is quick. My friend did mention, she didn't feel comfortable as customer service was kinda off and as she understood Mandarin and Cantonese some of the Chinese customers did say some awful things to us which I understand is not the restaurants fault but she will not be visiting this place anytime soon especially after the staff did not say anything against that. Overall I gave it a three for the food as I have tasted better for the price but I believe with better service and a little more effort they can become a 5 star for sure. Thank you. =)

What a great find! This small cafe next to Leicester market serves very authentic, home cooked Chinese food. Most of the customers are Chinese, which has the be a good sign. I ordered the steamed dumplings which were freshly made and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back. Recommended.

Amazing food, absolutely loved it. Best food I’ve had in a while and so filling. I’ve walked by so many times and not noticed it that much. Today I tried it to have something new and was pleasantly surprised on how good and filling it was.

I love the Bao and have had them in China, Australia and in the UK These tasted stale. Ordered 102 which was a noodle hot pot with chicken and received it with Tofu Didn't complain as had waited a while for the food. It is all freshly cooked. Also had the prawn dumplings they were good but for 4 I thought £5.20 was expensive as it isn't a restaurant just a cafe. Overall a bit disappointed

This place is fab, a little oasis next to the market. We had bowls of noodles, dumplings and bao - all fantastic. I've been daydreaming about the noodles since and can't wait to go back for more.

Amazing little place. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Very clean and modern inside. Good selection of noodles, dumplings and bao's. All are made fresh. Very popular with Chinese students. I have been in twice in a week and will be going back to taste the whole menu. My family opened up the 2nd Chinese takeaway in the city in the 60's so I know what's good.

Amazing food. Really nice dumplings. There is this one dish with one really very looong nooodle, forgot the name but not the taste, like nothing I had before. Seems to be visited mostly by Chinese, which I took as a good sign. Very friendly service.

This is a truly authentic northern Chinese cuisine, all the food including the noodles, duck, dumpling are all home-made and done in store. Unlike many student oriented Chinese places that have sprung up all over Leicester, Golden Orange is truly unique, it is hearty and very healthy - not at all greasy. I have been there now almost once a week since it opens. My favourite are Cumin Beef handpull noodles, lamb dumplings, cold salad (Liang pi) and lamb noodle soup.

This is a place not to miss. A little unpreposessing on the outside - it looks like s Chinese takeaway, but the food is very different. Handmade noodles with a variety of different meats and sauces. Steamed buns with delicious filings. Dumplings. Everything is cooked fresh and delivered to your table piping hot. We were stuck in Leicester for several days and we ate here twice a day for several days. We were never disappointed. This place is very new, but deserves to be discovered.

Delicious food well made and fresh. Good value for money. Friendly service. Portions were on the large side. My wife had seafood noodles and I had Singapore noodles. Both excellent. Very different from standard UK Asian noodles, but all the better for that. Jasmine tea also excellent. Will go back for sure.
