Located on Andrews Street, there are some parking spaces behind and on the adjoining street at the back. This place offers good quality Asian buffet. It is very busy over the weekend, and we had booked our table early on. The spread of starters was excellent, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. There is also a live kebab counter and another section on burgers and wraps. All this left us with little room for the mains. The dessert section was good, too. We found the mango and sweet lassi disappointing. Overall, it was good dining experience.

Very shocking thing what I seen tonight your waiter was putting finger in nose it's make me very worse without food I leave the restaurant I just asked the waiter what is your name just said Denvan Tanveer look like indian I don't know he told the correct name yes or not but I request to manger ? The chefs are moody. It seems they give you the food for free!!! You can take only two pieces of fish! You pay £22.9. No soda including only water. Their car park charges you. Generally if you are looking for nice and clean food, not for you.

There is no Chinese food - don’t believe the lies!!!! Service is poor as well. They should not be allowed to advertise that they have Chinese food. Over priced too!!!!

Overall the dining experience was really good. The staff are friendly and inviting. The on hang wrap bar and stir fry was really good experience however they only really had pizza for Italian option and stir fry for Chinese food. There was a magician walking around which was nice. The prices didn’t match the website.

Wide variety of great dishes, felt abit rushed to leave when closing time was near but other than that exceptional service.

Food was good but the place was full and though we reserve table at 7 we got the table at 8 and service was also bad.

I love chef and spice, couldn't reccomend them enough. The staff was friendly and welcoming, i felt at ease. The food was gorgeous and I'm greatful for the selection, there's something for everyone! My only issue was the lous belligerent group of middle aged people SCREAMING like children. You expect the welcoming restaurant atmosphere yet we could barely order drinks without being screamed over. Better yet, visually SEEING servers cover their ears due to the ruckus was horrendous. I love Chef And Spice, would reccomend it to anyone who asks but hope they go whenever the nursery trip aren't there.

Nice buffet. Food isn’t amazing, but more or less still ‘good’. Not as big a range as when I’ve visited some years ago. Service is fine, not quite 5 stars, but worthy of 4. Fair price for experience, certainly when dining on the early-bird special (out by 6:45pm).

It's a good buffet system restaurant. They have plenty of options for non-vegetarians as well as vegetarians. I like the food. The starters were amazing including fish pakora and chilli chicken. Nice combination of chutney/sauces to enjoy the starter. They do have a self-serve panipuri counter. I kind of find the Pani puri is okish in taste. They do have Chinese counter as well where the chef is making your dish based on your selection of ingredients. I love the sweet dishes they serve. Best gulab jamun I had in Leicester till now. They do serve Ice-cream and chocolate fountains is nearby ice cream counter. The pricing side is they are a bit costlier than Feast India however the food quality is much better over here. The downside is, you have to buy drinks separately. I do understand this for alcoholic beverages however I do feel at least coke or Pepsi must have included in the buffet price.

Lovely all you can eat buffet. Food here is great and whilst not as much choice as feast of Indian, it’s much nicer as the food is refreshed much more. Don’t let this put you off, there is still plenty of choice. Came on Monday night and the wrap/ doner bar wasn’t open sadly but the garlic chili chicken was lovely on the starters as well as the lamb curry. Definitely worth a visit, although the car park for the restaurant you have to pay, even as a customer! thought this was a joke but asked a member of staff and was told yes you have to pay. Promptly moved the car and parked on the street! Never ever heard of paying for parking at a restaurant that you are visiting. Hence my reason for only giving it 4 stars.

Went here with my partner for a Sunday Lunch Buffet. The food quality was terrible, and the food lacked seasoning and flavour. Some of the starters were not even what they were displayed as we had Potato in our Chillie Paneer and no Paneer it was really disappointing. The Sambhar was far from what an authentic Sambhar tastes like. Even though the buffet costed £16.95 on the website we were charged £17.95 which means there was not enough attention to details for updating the information on the website. The only good thing about the meal was Gulab Jamun which was authentic. Rest of the food tasted bland and very sad. Would not return or recommend the place.

Always wanted to try this place and was going to bring my son for his 16 Yh birthday with family and friends so I thought I’d try a too good to go bag beforehand and never done this before there was no curry or rice deep fat fried much and disgusting wings all dripping in fat not even my dog would eat never we won’t be having his 16th here and il be deleting the too good to go app going to feast India instead where the food is alway goo

Great quality food for an excellent price if you go early bird. Everywhere was clean and the food was really fresh. Had a great selection - pani puri, freshly made dosa, kebab, noodles, fish pakora, bread pakora, chilli chicken, onion bhaji, deep fried green chilli, okra, dhal, saag aloo, mutter paneer, chicken bhuna, chicken tikka masala, pilau and boiled rice, naan bread with extra butter if you wanted, poppadoms, and so much more.

Decent food, nice place and atmosphere! Service was ok until it came to paying, was being dealt with by the manager who was rude and not listening at all. He even said to me "these are the rules and if you dont like them dont come back" He was trying to charge me £12.50 for a child who didnt even eat, and after our disagreement he said to a family member that i said id i wouldnt come back when that was a total lie. When i asked for his name and i was walking off he even said in a sarcastic manner shall i give you my contact details. Unprofessional, rude and pathetic.

Good location, good food. Avarage but expensive cocktails, Avarage service. No sea food unless you consider fish a sea food. Good ambience. It's worth a visit.

Great food and options if you like indian fare and a few extras treats. Reasonably priced and flavours of everything i had were great and I liked that it was buffet all-you-can-eat ( drinks are extra cost). Would go there repeatedly once the menu has new options every now and then.

Food is excellent really enjoyed it plates were empty. But unfortunately there was some trouble & a fight started whilst myself & colleagues were there on a table away. But we got our meal for half price because the upset so all in all customer service was excellent 👍 The police at to be called though because whilst I was walking out it all kicked off again 🙄 but none ov that was to do with the actual place it was silly youth that can't handle there drink......

I hardly ever take the time to leave a review unless its a positive one for a business. We visited this restaurant as a group of 20 the staff here are extremely rude and unprofessional. You wouldn’t treat a stranger on the street how they treat their customers (on multiple visits here). The food is decent but i wont be going back because they don’t deserve it.

Great variety of Indian dishes, including freshly made dosa and paneer dishes, Fantastic for vegetarians. Though great lamb curry too. Also has pizza for those who want something else. Quieter on a weekday which I appreciate.

Very overpriced bland food 5yr olds costing £15.50 probably the worst place to go in Leicester for a family meal ive given 1 star as there is no option for none rude staff rushed to get out no wonder the owners always beaming biggest con going

The food was okay.. but the service was really bad we had a slight issue with our dish which was off in taste and smell so I sent it back they said it was not their fault and we did not extend it any further. Later a waiter comes and tells us to not waste food. I’ve been to so many buffet places but no one insulted us like this. Tbh few items very spoiled and something was really off I’m not joking there were also few items which stood out best. I suggest people to think twice before visiting the place where you can’t have your food peacefully.

I haven't been able to get a nice curry in Leicestershire or surrounding area to where I've moved to since moving down here from Bradford 6 months ago..I came across this place by accident..I was wanting a all you can eat Chinese buffet..but could not find one...the option came up on Google when I was searching in Leicester..so due to my disappointment I didn't think this place was going to be any good.. Well I was so wrong.. it really took me by surprise...the food was lovely.. (NOT THE BEST IVE HAD) bit still very nice....I come from Bradford.. so the curry mark as always been high.. this place wasn't far from the mark that has already been set.. ime definitely coming back here..

This is such a friendly place. Can't beat the charity nights and the food is the reason we keep going back. Staff are polite and helpful. Place is spotless nothing to much trouble.

It's a buffet restaurant so it's never going to be Al la carte. Been here a couple of times. Have to say this time was an improvement. Got quite a variety from, kebabs, to tepanyaki to Currys both very non veg salad bar and desserts. For a family of 4 with soft drinks, the bill was over a £100. We dined early on this occasion so it wasn't busy which was nice as you aren't waiting to get to food. I didn't think much of the food last time but this time I found it alot better. Not a lot else to say otherwise. A good place for large parties and caters for varied tastes.

The food was good. Buffet choice was extensive. Car parking not good. Drinks expensive and not included in price. Service was very disappointing but then corrected by the manager, only after persistence. We made the booking online 4 days before, had confirmation by email, but was told by reception that "Sorry, but all the tables have gone". As we had travelled from over 3 hours away in Wales for a family reunion, this was disappointing and unacceptable. The mgr apologised, but didn't offer a solution, until we persisted. Eventually, he persuaded another party to leave after they had finished, and offered us their table. This was about 45 mins after our confirmed prebooked time. PS - there was a large wedding party going on, which could have messed up their reservations system, but that is their problem. Take care of such mess ups!

Tasteless food no variety of food. Rude staff . 0 customer service. Place full of negativity seems like they all are angry when we enter. They are in rush to go home no happy faces there. This is really bad place to go. 😡😡😡 everything is minus they spoil our diwali.

Absolutely excellent place to eat and enjoy the evening. The buffet is extensive with options for all taste young and old. The staff are friendly and attentive and very accommodating with large groups.

A very nice Sunday lunch in pleasant surroundings. The choice of dishes in the buffet was good and it was all well cooked. Nothing over-spiced and lovely tender meats. Recommended.

I ordered a takeaway via Just Eat and the food was out of this world!!! Perfect temperate and spice👏👏 Always go to there for a dine in service as staff are always polite and very professional, thank you

Great food could do with a bit more selection on deserts

Definitely not a place for real, authentic Indian food. It’s all looks lovely, the buffet etc, but the food is awful, tasteless and bland. How this place stays open I’ve no idea. Service is average, with no care for the customer. It’s overpriced too, so unless you really want to eat £16 of food eat, save your money and eat better for less - elsewhere!

If you really have to go to this place, pay cash. My 83 year old dad used his debit card for the first time in 6 months and 2 days later his bank account had been cleared out. Not making accusations but I don’t believe in coincidences. When he called to discuss it with the manager, he was verbally abused & treated with disrespect. What a way to treat a vulnerable, elderly man in poor health! Food is ok, but VERY overpriced. Service was bad too. Awful place - 1 star is too much for this place

Don’t go here unless you want your debit card to be cloned!! We visited here on Sunday 22nd October and were s party of 9. My 83 year old dad paid the bill with his debit card which he hadn’t used for months. Fast forward 48hrs the card was cloned, his details were compromised and the scammers emptied his bank account! He contacted chef & spice to inform them of this who were rude, unhelpful and completely disinterested!! Shame on you considering you promote yourselves as a charitable business!! Someone at your establishment either cloned my dads card or forwarded his details on, it is impossible to be anyone else! The police have been informed, just want to warn other people to be careful!

So nasty, I don’t know why they even have 5 star hygiene, to begin with they put everything in the bag like a child packet it and stuff spilt everywhere losing half of the food, and the korma came separated like it had been sitting there for days and the chicken was plain and chewy. Someone in the kitchen put their dirty hair in my food which literally caused me to vomit and ruined my evening, I don’t know who told them they should open a restaurant and hire imbeciles from the street or something because they lack common sense and hygiene. Will never order from here again and will do my best to warn others from spending their money here.

Vegetarian people please avoid this place. I went there last night to have a lovely evening with my friends but it turned out to be a let down😣. Starters were all fine, then I went to the stir fry counter to have some noodles made, a friend of mine who eats non-veg had her meat and noodles ready so she gave it to the chef first, once her noodles were done, I gave him my plate thinking he will be using a separate pan for vegetarian but he didn’t he quickly rinsed the pan and began to make my noodles in the same pan, I said to him, “I am a vegetarian, can you please use another pan?” To which he rudely replied, “I wash the pan so you not see?” and made my noodles in the same pan. I called the manager he had no clear answer of why the chef was using the same pan, no apologies or nothing, he just asked if I wanted noodles to be made again, I said no and he walked away without any further explanation. The bill was wrong at the end, we were charged for 4 people when it was three of us. I am definitely not going there again. If this happened in front of me, wonder what goes in the kitchen. Probably no veg-nonveg separate???

Been here lots of times before (weekends) I thought I would come in the weekday with the children.... I personally would never do it again the service was shocking. Muhammad was very aware even before paying that one of my children was not going to eat much but insisted that I paid an adults price for him... when I asked for his name it took him a while giving it to me.. really disappointed ☹️

10 out of 10! Food was fresh, there was lots of different options and it tasted great. Went for my husbands birthday and the service was absolutely amazing, the staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. Overall a superb experience and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Absolutely loved it !! Thank you to all the staff and Mohammed who made it a special.

Great selection of well cooked food. Charity evening , its incredible how much the owner does for NHS and other charities.

I gave Chef and Spice 3*** only because I didn't think the food was that nice and tasty, the lamb curry just didn't have any flavor, and everything tasted just the same. I have been before and the food was okay, but this time it wasn't for me The quality of the food isn't the same And the desserts were just awful!! But that's my opinion, it was very busy when we went, the service was good, cleared the plates straight away, so we didn't have piles of dirty plates left on the table. Would I go back again, or recommend it? Would have to think hard about that one.

I been today and was really nice food lot of space nice friendly staff but only one thing I didn't like it that in the place I feel bit hot and I ask to some one if have fan or ac but he tried and to the end he opened a windows but that wasn't enough only I feel bit hot otherwise was nice place to take family out for dinner

The food here is lovely, especially the lamb on the bone curry. Would be nice if they did slightly less spicy curries for the younger people. Dessert section could do with improvement, I wish they had nicer things to have with the chocolate instead of just marshmallows and grapes

Great venue, quality food and good busy atmosphere. Predominantly Indian food there is a very good choice including wraps and pizza and there will be something for almost everybody. Definitely my all you can eat restaurant of choice.

Food was very good but I've got feeling buffet was reduced this time. Maybe because it was Friday after 7 o'clock in the evening when we arrived... Salad bar was very reduced, fruits same -could see only grades and melon and apples that's all. Haven't seen chilli chicken and few more dishes which are in the offer and highly recommended on the Facebook page. Staff very helpful can't complain, but some clients rude behaviour and level of noise just no comment... Generally feeling a bit dissapointed but maybe will give it a try another day and time.

Love this place, been a long time customer. We take away and we sit in often. The staff are more than welcoming and accomodating and the atmosphere of the place is always popping! And the food, well, we love the place! What more can I say?

Good food and enviroment, wasn't so busy on a Friday evening when I went. OK value for the service and food offered. Staff seemed to just watch over waiting to clear tables as they weren't that busy however the food is nice and fresh tasting. I also liked the chickens wings.

This is a help yourself buffet Indian Restaurant. We had Sunday lunch here. Food was hot, fresh and tasty.

The place has a nice selection of food & deserts especially the apple crumble & peshwari naan ( corr blimey 👌🏻). Big variety of food from starter to main. The staff are amazing & very helpful. Keep up the good work guys 👊🏻

I Brought 2 curry’s tonight and the curry was watery like soup and i called ip and was asked to bring it back buy i dint want to waste more time and petrol going back so i called back for a refund and Mohammed accused me of saying the curry was s**t when i didn’t and then started getting aggressive and had attitude and said to me to come and see him face to face and put the phone Worst service i have ever had !!!! We went for all you can eat 2 weeks before and the food was amazing aswell hence why we went back.

Today Ive learnt that this restaurant decided to charge me upfront when i watched 3 to 4 groups come in together and not paid upfront rather sit them down. I cant help but feeling some kind of a way. Manager Sayeed says please dont take it personal i can assure you it wasnt nothing to do with you its how we orperste by charging upfront. A white group came in the got sat down, then 2 Black customers came in and got charged upfront. So we we left with haste.

Food was good, but the service and attitudes of workers was just distasteful. Subtle racism here and there clearly discriminating against black people. If it wasn’t for the appalling display by the workers, there wouldn’t be any problems.
