Man I love Ajs, food is always spot on, hotdogs are best in Leicester for sure but above all it’s the customer service that makes you go back and back and back. I’ve never seen the guy not smile, true testament to Leicester, he’s one of the few guys that reminds you why customer service is still important. This has to be hands down best donner in Leicester, Serkan is always having a good laugh with you whilst serving and he puts his soul into the food! Have already recommended to loads of people and they loved the food, the large special donner and chips is tasty and bursting with flavour!

Outrageous kebabs, I get this all the time. Absolute banger, proper 10 outta 10, no joke. Walking up to the food truck right, and the smell hits me like a brick wall. Spices, meat, the works. You know you're in for a treat when it smells that good. I order the works – lamb, chicken, a bit of everything. The fella behind the counter's slicing up the meat like he's performing surgery, real precision stuff. I get my kebab and it's a mountain, packed with the juiciest, most tender meat you can imagine. The lamb, mate, melts in your mouth, and the chicken's got this char that's just bang on. And the salad! Fresh as a daisy, crisp lettuce, tomatoes that taste like they've been sunbathing in the Med, and onions with a bit of a kick. They even chuck in some proper spicy sauce that has you sweating like a Scouser in a courtroom. The service was top-notch. Proper 10/10, no messing about. The bloke running it was a legend, quick with the banter and even quicker with the food. Got my order spot on, no fuss, no wait. Friendly as anything, like chatting with your best mate down the pub. If you're looking for a cracking meal on wheels, this is the spot, no doubt. Every bite was a taste sensation, the sort you only dream about. Washed it down with a cold can of Coke, and I was in heaven. Best kebab I've ever had, hands down. If you're in the Leicester this should be the only kebab spot you go to I promise you. Proper lush, that.

AJ's is the best in Leicester. Not only is his food delicious and affordable, he has the best customer service. He is friendly and polite. He works hard and always has a smile on his face. That was an alright kebab, and the first one I've had in Leicester that tasted like they do everywhere else in the country (for some reason Leicester add a lot of turmeric). Not exemplary, but good all round. Friendly chap working there, well cooked meat covered in interesting sauce, fresh salad, a sensible portion. I'll go back.

AJ was very nice. I ordered a vegetarian burger and he made sure to fry it in seperate oil and reassured me that it was vegetarian. The food was delicious, and the prices are very good.

Good kebab, the spicy sauce on the lamb diner kebab was very nice and I have never had something like it. Service is incredible and the guy is always cheerful. Prices are fair, especially given the current rise in costs. Definitely will come back.

This place is a paradise on wheels. Seriously! After all eateries in the uni are closed, we rely on AJ for for yummy treats. The hotdogs are 🔥!

Great customer service with every visit, one of the best food vans I have ever been too and gets to know each of his customers. Worked my way through the menu and never been disappointed with any item. Personal favourites are the cheesy chips and the egg cheese burger. A visit to here is a must

Was working on railway last night and you don't normally get any kind of food anywhere near the job. Well I was made up the AJ;s was there. I had the mix-meat kebab and chips, I can honestly say it was the best one i have ever had. The chicken meat is cooked fresh upon ordering, but is well worth the wait. The special sauce is amazing, the guys attitude is brilliant. Just gutted its an hour away from where i live.

Came to see what the hype was all about and was not disappointed. Got the mixed kebab and chips, stir fried with onions and sauces- 75% lamb Donner plus chicken shish/tikka grilled pieces. Fantastic flavour, meat was juicy and a generous portion size. Chips were medium cut French fries with a decent seasoning. Serkan is a gentleman and deserves all the credit he gets. Beats many 'fancier' kebab restaurants even though it's a mobile van!

Got talking to the owner wi basically does everything & what a great bloke he his. We had kebab & chips with sauces & it was lovely. If in Leicester I will definitely go back.

If you just came back from a party, the streets are dark and every shop is closed, AJ's is like a lighthouse in a storm. This guy is open at any moment that you are up and hungry for some food. Besides the food, which is marvelous, it is the guy running the place that really makes you happy. Never seen someone being so happy with his job as this man. Constantly smiling and calling you 'my brother', he just lights up your day, or probably night. Please, if you are in the vicinity of the University of Leicester, between 5pm and 5am, gives this place a visit, it's worth it!

I've been going to AJ's Food Bar for 2 years now and Serkan has made flavourful food every time. Serkan is friendly and can cook food for you there and then, or you can call him in advance. I highly recommend you give AJ's Food Bar a try!

Burgers, chicken strips or nuggets, doner kebabs, chips, cooked whilst you wait. Competitive prices, very late opening times, friendly service from Serkan. Be prepared to wait for your food as it is cooked freshly to order. What is there not to rave about? I highly recommend this takeaway!

AJ gives great service every single time and the food is amazing. I was introduced to his food truck by a friend and it's regrettable when we don't eat from there. I would recommend to anyone, it's very student friendly as you can do a late nighter and even grab a meal at 3am, or to anyone visiting. The customer service is top notch and you can even text him your food order and just collect. I will continue eating from AJ's!!!

Listen guys, when I say this is the best kebab truck I’ve ever been to I mean it. The food is so good and AJ is the loveliest man I’ve ever met in my life. From one of the kindest and most hard-working people in the UK, AJ's, run by Serkan, does not fail to deliver food that is to die for. Serkan's relationship with everyone he meets is unmistakable and the positive impact he has on everyone he meets should not go unnoticed. His constant smile and drive to complete everything to the highest standard makes him amazing at what he does. Having tried fast-food in parts of the UK, not just in Leicester, I can easily say that AJ's is one of my favourites. The phenomenal service from Serkan is not the only reason why I became a regular myself, but the quality of food speaks for itself. With one of the best kebabs, chicken strips and hamburgers I've ever had, AJ's is definitely a place I recommend to everyone, not just to uni students.
