I had lunch at Tatra on Saturday and I really enjoyed food, service and atmosphere. A first ever visit in an authentic Slovak-Czech dining corner - a very pleasant experience overall. Food was traditionally prepared and one could appreciate freshness and quality of ingredients. I had sauerkraut soup, followed by beef tenderloin. As a dessert, I tried the classic cake, Marlenka, accompanied by a Wien-style coffee (see pictures). The meal was much appreciated and we were served after a short wait. Service was caring and kind. The lady was attentive and asked if we enjoyed the food. The restaurant is situated in a small building, with easy access to the main street leading to Leicester's railway Station. The little space and the simple yet cosy decor of the restaurant made us feel really cosy and gave the environment a very welcoming vibe. I strongly recommend it.

Since when has a pizza place charged for a take out box? The pizzas here are already at the higher end in pricing compared to other similar places so surprised being charged 75p a box. Shame really, as we have had dine in previously - decent atmosphere. Had takeout few times before - pizzas have been great… but never charged for a box. Perhaps they may start charging to wash the plates and cutlery soon when dining in - who knows.

Really yummy food. Kinda hard to navigate the menu for vegetarian food but there is actually so much options when you ask and see the ingredients.

Took a £20 taxi to get here & these guys had since closed down or changed name, couldn't find the shop. Was really looking forward to trying the food but rather disappointed. So had to go to the guys next door to have a bite to eat. PLEASE CONFIRM IF YOU ARE OPEN OR NOT
