hardly any chicken doner meat with the chips, garlic sauce wasn't garlicky. chips were great, and chicken shish kebabs was nice. only salad was lettuce, nothing else. very poor food

We take turns with some friends of ours to visit each other, and enjoy a new eating venue together. It was our turn last weekend, so we took them to Smith's, confident we'd all love it. We reserved a table, but they gave us the choice of choosing another one, which we did. There were plenty of tasty-looking options, and my friends went for a Sunday roast, while my wife and I chose the burgers. I very carefully pointed out my wife's tomato-allergy, which they took on board. When the food arrived, they explicitly announced my wife's burger, but when she cut it in half (a fortunate habit of hers on this occasion!) she found a tomato!! Not wanting to cause a fuss, we swapped burgers (as they'd given me hers), but mentioned the situation on leaving. The manager couldn't have been any more apologetic/courteous, and he won us all over with his top-level hospitality skills. Overall, therefore, our experience at Smith's was excellent - brilliant food, quick service, superb manager (either Jack, or Callum, we're not sure...) We HIGHLY recommend others to eat here, and my friends have already asked if we'll book in again on their next visit!!

Perfect place to stop off when in Bourne. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Coffee is lovely. Plenty of spaces to sit and toilet facilities.

we don't mind late arrival but food came completely cold. very disappointed for the money we paid.

Took a while to get served on this occasion...one side of the bar wasn't being attended which I wasn't aware of. Old food plates still on table from previous customers on leaving

Chips were WAY too salty. Felt like I was eating the sea. Quite limited options and really expensive for the amount of food you get.

Bad experience , 930 sat night so would have thought still busy thankfully only got chips to eat on way to car which were cold soggy sweaty and a waste of £2.70 . Would not return.

Poor Starbucks sadly not enough staff, mess on tables toilets questionable with no loo roll! Drinks came in paper cups when ask to sit in. Shame nice location needs attention to detail

Had an awful experience at this Wetherspoons . My partner went to order food at the bar , in which a lady at the bar asked if anybody was waiting, my partner said yes and she didn’t rely so she went to put something in the dishwasher . When she came back she asked the same question and my partner again said yes in which she made the rude comment “you could of said something the first time” My partner brushed it off and went to order our food , she then ID him and got really rude asking for other forms of identification in which he had to use his bank card (his ID was legit he’s 24) She then again made another comments under her breathe and said she needed to see my ID as he was ordering for me too . I then had to go up to the bar (which wasn’t an issue ) and I handed her my ID . She then proceeded to shout at me and say “ if your going to have an attitude I’m not serving you it’s my job to make sure your not underage “ My partner was obviously getting annoyed with how she spoke to me in which I told him it’s fine and she then started mouthing off again . We then asked if we “could please be served by someone else” She then refused to serve us cancelled our whole order on the till and told us we couldn’t have any food and to leave . Also refused to tell us her name . This was on the 28th November just after 6pm. She had black braids and and glasses and was wearing a body cam so hope this gets checked . We did then just have to order on the app but I’ve never been spoken to like that ever . Rudest experience I’ve ever had.

What a lovely experience, was very busy but staff were so helpful and took our oder promptly. Pie and chips arrived in quick time and tasted lovely. I will be returning

We had a group visit for lunch and oh dear the food was not as good as previously - service was good but there as no comparison to the meal we has two days later - at half the price

Coffee was luke warm, bacon was undercooked, sausage was cold as were the beans and toast, hash brown was burnt, scrambled eggs were ok. Cafe was very cold and had to sort through the cutlery to find a clean knife and fork. Will not go there again

Heidi was great, bought us lots of alcohol, sweets and food. Ladida trip advisor making me use 100 characters when not fit!
