Golden Palace in South Kesteven

Sadly, The Rose has closed down, and is now all boarded up. There had been a "For Sale" notice last month, but even this has gone. From a local resident.

Upon myself having a Good night out in Market Deeping, just before i walked back Home and left my car in the Poundstretcher Carpark. I decided that i really fancied a Large Donner Kebab with Chips and Salad. I visited this very Popular Local Take Away that is in my Home Town of Market Deeping. It is called The Deeping Kebab House. I went in and spoke to the Friendly Server who asked me what i would like. I toldvhim, exactly what a really Fancied to eat, off of there rather Generous menu they have. Really Good and Attention to detail Customer Service, nothing was a problem. I did not have long to wait. My Food was ready, for me to pay for and then Take Away. I left the Establishment and found a bench and sat down, to eat my Feast. The Food was absolutely Delicious. What a Great Take Away we have in the Deeping's Market Place. Wir waren abends hier, fanden einen sehr gepflegten Gastraum vor, der Service war sehr freundlich und kompetent, unaufdringlich aber aufmerksam - einfach so, wie es sein soll. Die Speisen waren sehr schmackhaft, das Angebot gross und mit dem netten Zusatz: es gibt zusätzlich einige sehr gute nepalesische Gerichte, begleitet von nepalesischem Bier (in UK gebraut) - eine nette Besonderheit. Eine klare Empfehlung für Liebhaber indischer Küche.

Coffee ok, staff friendly and quick service. Feel the area needs a refurb as looking tired.

We called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch on the way back from an event having read a good review recently. The maitre D runs a brilliant small team and the front of house couldn’t have been more accommodating - had taken drinks orders and suggested we enjoy the Sun whilst they set our table up. The food was really brilliant. I had pate for starters and my only criticism was that there was too much! Initially when I saw the large portion I assumed it would be average but it was a really lovely pate, just too much for me with two large slabs! Main was roast beef and it was brilliant, really lovely rolled sirloin served pink. We were on a hiding from the night before so neither indulged in the wine but they had a really lovely wine list and a busy restaurant. The service was lovely, so nice to see such a well turned out dining room complete with linen for Sunday service. 10/10 to front of house for all of their efforts here. Will definitely return in the week to sample their full menu(and wine list!)
